I celebrated the New Year here after a long time. This was my third stay. As always, the room and bath were truly comfortable, and I enjoyed the delicious drinks and alcohol in the lounge. With fewer rooms, it’s quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay. Being part of the Tokyu Stay group, it naturally has a washing machine and microwave, but this accommodation even has a freezer, which is a great bonus! Highly recommended.

My spouse and I stayed here from August 8 to 10. Since it was during summer vacation, there were various events. What we especially appreciated was the life jacket rental (cheaper than renting at the beach) and the stargazing. The stargazing was easy to join with no Reservation required and free entry/exit. There was also a guide who explained what we were seeing, so we could identify Scorpius, the Milky Way, Cassiopeia, and more under a sky full of stars—it was truly moving. All of the staff were not only kind but also friendly and easy to talk to, and chatting with them was a lot of fun. It’s an Accommodation that made us want to come back!

Service is simple and unobtrusive. The Facility inside is new and clean. The stairs up to the second floor are quite steep, so it may be difficult for guests with weak legs or knees. I thought the bathtub might be small, but all three times it was almost private, so I could relax. Dinner featured a rare and delicious sweet-simmered carp. The sukiyaki is on the salty side. Breakfast was a set meal typical of an Onsen Accommodation.

I don’t usually stay at small Ryokan, but given the area, I felt comfortable doing so. The property and rooms were well maintained and very pleasant. Above all, the service was excellent. We ran late for dinner, and after checkout they even delivered a forgotten item to the station… I’m truly sorry for the trouble… yet everyone was smiling—thank you very much. The meals were also carefully prepared and delicious. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again. Since I only used the public bath outside, I’m rating the Onsen bath a 3. Sorry.

We stayed for my child’s tournament, and they won 3rd place! We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time, we’ll try the meals too!

We revisited with the much-anticipated Sushi Plan that we decided to try after being impressed by the view from the room last time! The cuisine exceeded our expectations—luxurious and delicious, it was absolutely worth it. While preparing meals ourselves is fun, enjoying professional flavors in a private space is truly exceptional. Once again, it was just the two of us staying, so the room felt incredibly spacious (laughs), but every corner was impeccably clean and exuded a sense of freshness. With this level of cleanliness, I’m sure even large family trips or group visits would be enjoyable for everyone. This was our second time using the unmanned check-in system, and it went smoothly. We had such a relaxing stay again! Next time, we’d love to bring along more people for an even bigger gathering!

We made a Reservation to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. It was the children’s first time experiencing a real Onsen, and they were thrilled. They prepared the largest Room for us, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious—beautifully presented and very generous. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like a complimentary pouch for female guests and glowing bracelets for the kids. All of the staff were wonderful, and we’re truly glad we chose this Accommodation!

The hotel is close to the station, which made traveling by train very convenient. On both the first and second days, we left our luggage with them while sightseeing, and the front desk staff were very helpful. Especially on the second day, our pickup was later than planned, but they assisted us with a smile and even showed concern about the sudden rain. Thanks to them, we were able to leave Mino-Ota feeling great.

We arrived just before the dinner cutoff time, but a staff member came out from the front desk before we even parked and guided us to a parking spot. The meal was delicious, and the bath was very relaxing. We’re looking forward to our next visit, and we appreciate your hospitality again then.

My wife wanted to visit Yufuin for the first time, so we stayed here. It’s in a quiet location, and the dinner and breakfast served in the thatched-roof main house were delicious. The bath was also very comfortable at just the right temperature. However, we did see stink bugs, crickets, and winged ants in the washroom and hallways, and my wife—who dislikes insects—was not happy about that. Still, since there is a semi-open-air bath, it’s understandable that insects may come in during this hot season. Other than that, it was an excellent Accommodation, and next time I’d like to bring our grandchildren.

This was my second stay. Last time I traveled solo and used a twin room as single occupancy, but this time I stayed with my partner (my wife) for 3 nights and 4 days. I booked a twin Western-style room for the first two nights, and a Japanese-Western style room for the third night because the twin was unavailable. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, we were upgraded to a very spacious Japanese-Western style room for all three nights. Thank you very much. The main purpose of this trip was the Sapporo Snow Festival for the first time in six years. With hotel prices in central Sapporo rising sharply recently, we chose this Hotel again because we had a great experience before. When comparing rates, this Hotel with breakfast and dinner can sometimes be cheaper than central-area hotels with breakfast only (depending on when you make your Reservation). This time we rented a car from the airport, but if you are not used to driving on snowy roads, taking the bus is honestly recommended. Also, at this Hotel, if the schedule works out, using the free Shuttle Service bus is an excellent value. We used the Shuttle Service one-way from the Hotel to Sapporo Station on our second day (they were running five large buses). After enjoying the Snow Festival, we returned to the Hotel by taking Jotetsu Bus “Kappa Liner,” using its last service (departing 17:00 from in front of the station). On day three, we relaxed by visiting nearby Hoheikyo Onsen for a day trip bath and their famous curry, and took an easy stroll around town in the snowy hot-spring area. As for the Hotel itself, you can enjoy various baths at both an underground Onsen area and an observation bath & open-air bath on the top floor. That said—perhaps because there isn’t enough source water volume for baths of that size—the “Onsen feel” is slightly mild. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Given that it was peak season at such a huge Resort Hotel, it gets extremely crowded in a massive dining venue, so it’s better to avoid peak times. The buffet selection may not match top-tier luxury resort standards, but it was satisfying—for example, breakfast included seafood bowls where you can add as much salmon roe as you like. If you’re visiting Sapporo for sightseeing, staying in central Sapporo is convenient; however, this Hotel offers great value with breakfast and dinner included plus Onsen access—and even free Shuttle Service buses from near Sapporo Station—so I may well return for a third stay. One extra note: the new wing has three glass elevators, and two regular elevators on the inner side of the building opposite them. The glass elevators have great views, but in midwinter (around -10°C), they are very cold inside, so we ended up using the inner ones most of the time.

The staff were very welcoming upon arrival at the Hotel, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. The Room was clean, and I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast could be chosen from three restaurants, making this trip truly wonderful.

I had business on the Hibiya Line, so I chose this place because it’s close to the station. The directions often said “X minutes to …,” but they didn’t specify which exit to use, so I was a bit confused at first and relied on smartphone navigation. It’s almost a straight walk from the station and easy to find, and with so many restaurants along the way, it’s an enjoyable route. Next door to the Hotel is a stylish Sichuan restaurant. There were introductions to various dining options inside the Hotel, but that one wasn’t listed, which was disappointing—though I may have missed it. Check-in is done by machine, but a cheerful foreign staff member guided me clearly and energetically with a smile. Their Japanese was excellent—perhaps thanks to good training at the Hotel. The amenities are a little hard to find; they’re next to the elevator. However, they seemed more geared toward men, so if you need women’s items like cleansing oil or toner, it’s better to pick them up at the convenience store nearby. FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are both very close. The Room had an average Business Hotel unit bath. There was one face towel and one bath towel provided. There are foot massagers and irons in the elevator hall, which is convenient for business stays. Breakfast (which I was looking forward to) had plenty of variety. Since this is Nishitetsu, there were Kyushu items such as mentaiko (spicy cod roe). There was also curry, though I didn’t try it so I can’t comment on how spicy it is. Personally, I was happy they had Calpis—I hadn’t had it in a while, and it was delicious. There were also quite a few types of tea. The food was tasty overall, but there are many restaurants around as well. All in all, this seems like a great place for a business stay while enjoying nearby dining options.

Every time Comiket came around, I really wanted to stay here, but I could never get a Reservation and ended up booking other nearby Hotels. This time, I finally got to stay. It was close to the waiting line, and the room size and Facility were more than enough if you’re just coming back to sleep. It’s not enough to lower my rating, but there was a light layer of dust on the humidifier, so it would be good to wipe it down. I hope I can book again someday. Thank you very much.

Our family of four stayed for two nights. At the dinner buffet, our 6-year-old daughter was thrilled by the wide variety of ice cream and got so excited! Our whole family enjoyed the meals and the Onsen. A few things we noticed: the elevator took a long time to arrive, it was hot inside the kids’ play area, and on the second day we were bothered by dust on the floor (possibly from the futons). The elevator situation may be difficult due to the building layout, but it would be even better for families with children if there were more efficient measures during busy times, such as better guidance. Overall, including leisure activities, it was a memorable and wonderful trip!

I was looking for a cost-effective place near the station as I planned to check in around 9 PM and check out before 8 AM the next morning. The Room's size, cleanliness, bed comfort, and shower pressure were all excellent. Breakfast was served quickly and was very satisfying. The staff at the front desk were kind and very pleasant. This is a Hotel I will definitely use whenever I visit Atami.

This was my second stay here. As with my previous visit, the two older gentlemen who greeted us were very pleasant, and their warm welcome made us feel truly appreciated—excellent hospitality. Above all, I think Sarugakyo Hotel’s service is outstanding. There wasn’t a single staff member who made me feel uncomfortable. The person who assisted us during meals was from Nepal; perhaps they are still getting used to the work, but their sincerity really came through and I never felt uneasy at all. I ordered oolong tea, but when they repeated the order they said orange juice—so I corrected it, yet what arrived was orange juice (laugh). That was completely acceptable. It was delicious! The next morning, they greeted me with “Thank you for yesterday,” which made me happy. Thank you as well. Both dinner and breakfast were very tasty and generously portioned—we were completely satisfied. The Onsen was kept extremely clean and felt wonderful. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel, we had a very comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed playing table tennis. We will definitely come back again.

I continued to use Ace Morioka. Prices may increase by 30% on the day before holidays, but it is originally affordable, making it helpful for business trips.
