It was a stylish, modern Hotel with no unnecessary frills. It’s within walking distance of Oura Cathedral and Glover Garden, and although I expected it to be up on a hill, it was actually in a regular location. The entrance is a café, so I wondered, “Is this really the Hotel?”—but as you go further in, there’s a small check-in counter. On the right side of the entrance there are lockers, and they were able to store even fairly large luggage before check-in, which let us head out sightseeing hands-free. When we first entered the Room, there was a slight smell that bothered me; I thought it would have been nicer with a light, refreshing scent like citrus. After a while, though, I stopped noticing it. Inside the Room was great: our whole family loved it—an elegant sofa, a large TV, beds that were just the right size, and BAKUNE pajamas as sleepwear. There was enough space for everyone to relax together; after coming back from dinner we took our time enjoying dessert. The bath was also excellent—a jacuzzi in a comfortable space with a pleasant breeze coming in. My wife especially appreciated having both a washing machine and two toilets. One thing to note is that there aren’t many places nearby for dinner—you’ll need to go a bit farther out for meals. The price was on the higher side for the season, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Everything exceeded our expectations in every way, and we had a very comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, it would be even better if there were a Shuttle Service from the nearest station.

Stayed with my mother. The meals were absolutely exquisite, just as expected. The service was attentive, and the clean room made for a comfortable stay. Although the bath was slightly small, we were fortunate that there were only a few other guests, allowing us to relax and enjoy it. If I may suggest, it would be convenient to have hand towels in the room's washbasin area matching the number of guests staying in that room for face washing purposes. Even with that minor point, it was a very satisfying accommodation.

I stayed here again this year following last year. The lack of an auto-lock was not an issue for me. It was sufficient and satisfactory. There was plenty of parking space, and I could also park my motorcycle.

The Reviews were good, so I wasn’t particularly worried, but above all, what helped me the most was the late checkout! I’m not the type to spend every minute of my sightseeing time rushing around, so I was truly grateful to be able to relax until 11:00. By the way, check-in was also early at 14:00, so I left my luggage right away and went sightseeing. Very convenient! I was able to use both the washing machine and dryer for free (detergent: 50 yen). I get cold easily and couldn’t fall asleep at first, but there were blankets in the hallway with a “Please feel free to take one” sign, so I was able to sleep. Breakfast was a reasonable portion size, which really helped since I don’t eat much. Other good points have been mentioned by others, so that’s all from me. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

More satisfying than a typical luxury Hotel in every way—attentiveness, service, Facility, access, and amenities.

The staff were very kind, and the beach right in front was beautiful. Since it was my first time, I stayed at a different luxury hotel within the resort the next day. While it had a luxurious feel and was nice, I loved this beach so much that I came back here the following day. The weather was great, and I enjoyed wading into the sea up to my knees—it felt wonderful. Next time, I'll stay at this hotel for a multiple night stay! Having two bedrooms in the room along with a microwave and washing machine was very convenient. The bathtub is only available as an outdoor jacuzzi, so on windy or cold days it might be slightly inconvenient; however, overall my stay was comfortable. I joined the morning walk program where we had perfect weather and even got to enjoy an off-season private experience! The explanations about plants were fascinating, making it both fun and fulfilling. My child kept asking for quizzes repeatedly—thank you for your patience despite causing some trouble! Thank you also for taking us to Alamanda to feed turtles. Although it seemed quiet during off-season with fewer people around, there were surprisingly many children competing over turtle food during feeding time! Unfortunately, adults cannot participate in feeding activities if they go alone since food is not provided for them. This resort is enjoyable even without needing a car; however, having simple meals like rice balls (onigiri), sandwiches or light bento boxes available within the hotel or resort would be fantastic—especially something easy for kids to eat quickly! There are picnic-friendly spots in nearby parks where rice balls would have been perfect... It would be great if such options could be ordered from hotels or made more accessible somehow. Every day now I'm thinking about when I'll get another chance to visit Miyako Island again!

This Hotel is in an excellent location right in front of Saga Station. The Room was spacious, and the large public bath was great. Above all, the staff were very courteous. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Since we didn’t rent a car this time, we traveled by bus from Hakodate Station, but it was only a 3-minute walk from Tropical Botanical Garden-mae, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. A friend said the interior and the Room were far better than you’d ever imagine from the exterior. I believe I made a Reservation for the cheapest Room type, but to my surprise we were upgraded to what seemed like one of the best Rooms. It was a wonderful, spacious Room with a very comfortable sofa where we could truly relax. If I have the chance to visit again, I’d like to make a Reservation for the best Type A Room. I was looking forward to enjoying sparkling wine in the lounge, Hakodate milk soft-serve ice cream, and Misuzu Coffee—and they even had watermelon as well, which made me really happy. The soft-serve was unbelievably delicious. I don’t usually drink coffee, but Misuzu Coffee is so good that I decided to have it while in Hakodate. Being able to enjoy it as many times as you like until 10:00 p.m. is much appreciated—though my friend mentioned that in the morning there was only Misuzu Coffee. The bath is available even late at night, which is also very helpful. Even if you fall asleep after dinner and drinks, it’s great to be able to wake up and take a bath during the night. Dinner was an omakase sushi course that included fugu tatsuta-age; between the tuna selections and seasonal sushi, everything was satisfying and enjoyable. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options—I especially loved the soup curry. Overall, I think this is an excellent Accommodation with courteous front desk staff and a very positive impression. Just one thing: many Hotels these days provide deodorizing sprays, but I’m sensitive to fragrances—so I would prefer not having them in the Room or used during bed-making.

The location was amazing, right in front of the ocean. The food was delicious and there was more than we could finish—we were very satisfied. We’d love to stay here again when we visit Himakajima.

We enjoyed a truly relaxing stay at Hotel de Marronnier. We sincerely appreciate the thoughtful hospitality of all the staff. We delighted in the flavorful breakfast and dinner, and felt refreshed by the impeccably maintained facilities, the salt bath, and the charming open-air bath. Even the Shuttle Service for our return trip was perfectly arranged—this is an exceptional Accommodation we would love to visit again in another season.

This was my second stay. The location is excellent, and with advance reservation we were able to use a covered parking space. It’s about a 1-minute walk from Shioiri Station, which makes it very convenient to leave the car parked and travel by train. For breakfast, if you request it at the front desk on the day, you can enjoy a freshly made omelet at a reasonable price. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Miura or Misaki Port for food and drinks—and to fully enjoy tuna.

The Hotel and rooms feel a bit dated, but it was quiet and I slept soundly. Breakfast included, unlimited manga reading, and included alcohol and soft drinks were very helpful. I will stay again.

The mist felt like a shower of beauty serum, and my skin became truly soft and deeply moisturized. After enjoying the hot stone sauna, the open-air bath, and the radon Onsen, even my knee pain had eased by the time I left. I was amazed—my knee could bend again! The staff were all very warm and welcoming, and breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. I prefer this style over a buffet. I would love to visit again.

The road to the Accommodation was narrow, and I got lost at first. The room was clean, and the Facility was satisfactory—sleep comfort was excellent, of course. The free breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was more than enough and I appreciated being able to use it. What felt most convenient was the guest-only parking lot. Just by having my parking ticket validated for free at the counter, I could come and go by car as I liked, which was great. The Accommodation Fee is reasonable as well, and I think it’s a good Hotel.

The front desk staff came from various countries, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and was incredibly kind. The property was clean, and the Room was spacious. I would like to stay here again.

We have four dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Mameshiba, so we always stay in a villa with a private dog run. However, every time we’ve felt that something was always just slightly inconvenient—but RETONA was perfect. Since there’s a splash pond in the dog run, we thought we should bring towels, but there were towels right at the entrance, along with a water tank for dogs and bowls. We also received one complimentary drink per person from the vending machine at the dog-run entrance!! Thanks to that, our dogs were able to run around the spacious dog run to their hearts’ content and slept soundly at night. For dinner, since our dogs are always with us as usual, we assumed the food would end up getting cold—but each dish was served at just the right time: hot items while still hot and cold items while still cold. Everything was delicious—the soup and even the mango vegetable juice—and the appetizers were presented like an afternoon tea set: not only tasty but also beautifully arranged. Whenever we met any staff member, they greeted us with wonderful smiles, and they even helped carry our luggage upon arrival—which was truly helpful for our multi-dog household. The bath in our Room was very spacious as well, everything was spotless throughout, and above all we didn’t feel any drawbacks or inconvenience at all. We travel at least five or six times a year, and during long holidays we often stay about four nights. We would absolutely love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Thanks to the Accommodation’s consideration, we were upgraded to a larger Room. The meals were delicious and we were very satisfied.

We arrived a little after 3:00 pm, and they were waiting to welcome us at the entrance, which gave the place a classic, long-established feel. The building has a sense of history, and the Showa-era atmosphere was very comfortable for me. There was an abundance of food, and as seniors we couldn’t finish it all—what a shame (laugh).
