I stayed here for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and I’m glad I did—I had a very satisfying stay. At check-in, the gentleman who assisted me was extremely courteous, which made for a pleasant start to my trip. The Room was spotless, and I was especially happy with the well-stocked amenities. The shower in the Room was excellent. I had assumed it would be small, but there was plenty of space and strong water pressure—very satisfying. I also used the Onsen and the pool. The pool had a great view; it was a shame it was cloudy that day, but there were warmer areas in the water temperature-wise, which felt really nice. If I had to mention one thing, it would be perfect if they were directly connected to the Hotel with no need to go outside. I wanted to use the Onsen before checkout, but even though it isn’t far, you still have to walk outdoors—and I didn’t feel comfortable doing that right after waking up without makeup—so I gave up on that idea. Still, I had a fulfilling and worthwhile time overall, and I’m glad I chose to stay here.

We stayed as a family with breakfast included, and the Room was clean and well maintained. The bed was firm, and we slept very well. Breakfast offered a wide variety of side dishes, all of which were delicious. Thank you to the staff for their kind service with warm smiles. There was also a large public bath, which we enjoyed at a relaxing pace.

This was my first stay. A Hotel staff member explained that there were few guests today, so they upgraded my Room, and I was moved to an unexpectedly spacious Room. I was truly impressed. Breakfast included all-you-can-eat salmon roe—my favorite! I was really happy. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again next time. Thank you very much for everything.

After hiking in Odaigahara, I stayed here. The friendly, heartfelt hospitality from the staff and the silky-smooth Yakushi hot bath gently soothed my body after the hike.

This was our second stay. It was a trip for just my father and me, and the food was excellent—we were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. We would be happy to stay again someday.

We stayed over a three-day weekend. It was a luxurious experience to stay in a Tangible Cultural Property. The living room was spacious, and the kids ran around the Room and watched YouTube on the projector! The adults were able to relax and unwind in the sauna and Onsen. Also, thank you to the staff for being so kind and seeing us off at the end. We’d love to stay again when we visit Gunma.

I chose Zao Onsen this time because I wanted to soak in Wald Berg’s open-air bath again after a long time. When I arrived at the Hotel, I felt the hospitality and service were better than before. At the front desk, they seemed to remember that I had stayed here previously. When I was shown to my Room, I appreciated that the air conditioning had already been set to a comfortable temperature. And then, the Onsen—Zao Onsen really is wonderful. Among all the baths in Zao Onsen, Wald Berg’s forest open-air bath is spacious and truly outstanding. Dinner was more than satisfying as well, and I was happy that even a solo guest receives a beer. I ended up enjoying the open-air bath four times—it was excellent. The only disappointment was that the riverside open-air bath was closed due to bear activity, so I couldn’t use it. In the past, my mother-in-law, my wife, and I came together and enjoyed our stay; this year my mother-in-law passed away, so it was just the two of us. As it is Obon season, we enjoyed Zao Onsen while remembering her fondly.

Thank you for coming out to the car in the rain to help with our luggage. We were able to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace in a calm atmosphere. I’m a light eater, so I’m very sorry for not finishing everything. When we visit Shiga again, we would love to stay at GUZU.

This was our second stay at Seven Colors, following last year. After our stay last year, we didn’t hesitate to choose it again this year because everything was outstanding—the views, the baths, the food, and above all the wonderful hospitality from the staff. This time was just as fantastic. Due to a typhoon approaching and JAL’s special arrangements, we had to cancel one night, but you kindly processed a refund. I truly appreciate your excellent handling of the situation. Thank you very much. The views are amazing, and I especially love breakfast—absolutely my favorite. Thank you as well for accommodating takeout so we could head to the beach; both the portion size and taste were excellent. We’ll be back for two nights in October. We’re also planning another visit in November. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.

Planning a trip to Mie with the hope of making a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Ise Shrine, we were drawn to how wonderful the VISON villas looked and decided to stay here. The Room was clean and refreshing, simple yet very functional, and I felt deeply soothed by the garden view from the bath. We stayed for three nights, and for breakfast we had: (1) the Nouniyell buffet, (2) takeout from Mariage de Farine (bread with soup, salad, and dessert), and (3) takeout from Ureshino Tofu Nose. Everything was excellent! In particular, Ureshino Tofu Nose’s takeout bento may have been the best takeout meal I’ve ever had. Relaxing in our Room, we enjoyed glossy freshly cooked rice and plenty of piping-hot side dishes rich with dashi—an incredible luxury first thing in the morning. For lunch and dinner as well, we tried various places within VISON—dining in or getting takeout—and everything was delicious. The lean tuna sashimi we had after the tuna-cutting show was outstanding. The villa also has a large sink in the Room, so eating in and cleaning up afterward felt easy and stress-free. We also ordered Nouniyell room service—the meat dish and Caesar salad were delivered freshly made and were truly delicious! Honso-yu was also wonderful; even though it was midsummer, a cool breeze blew through the outdoor bath area, allowing us to relax completely. It was easy to drive to both Ise Grand Shrine and Toba Aquarium, making this an amazing trip. We were grateful for all of the VISON staff’s thoughtful yet unobtrusive hospitality—it was a genuinely happy stay. We definitely want to come again. Thank you very much.

This was the only Hotel in the Hotel New Awaji group we hadn’t stayed at yet, so we visited during summer vacation. The Facility is a bit old, but it was kept reasonably clean. The Onsen water was excellent, and the view from the bath helped us forget our everyday fatigue. Personally, I think the meals here were the best of any Hotel New Awaji property we’ve visited—this is a big plus for me. My daughter also said she wants to go again.

Staying at Haimurubushi—an Accommodation I’d always wanted to try—was a dream come true. From the pickup at the port, the service was excellent in every way! Even during our summer vacation trip, we didn’t have to wait in line for anything, and we truly enjoyed a relaxing island pace of life. Our whole family was very satisfied.

I suddenly needed to stay overnight in Tokyo and was looking for a Hotel with a large public bath and sauna. The attached Onsen Facility was even better than I expected! There were many types of baths, the temperatures were just right, and I was able to relax. Since there is an additional fee, I only used it once during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. The Room was a twin Room and more spacious than I expected, so it was very comfortable. They also kindly accommodated my request to borrow a pillow. The station is close by, and there’s also a supermarket and convenience store in the building, so it’s very convenient! If I stay in Tokyo again, I’d definitely like to use this Hotel again.

After reading the Reviews, I wasn’t sure whether to choose the Main Building or the West Building, but I’m glad I chose the Main Building because getting to the baths and meals was smooth and convenient. The Room has been renovated, and it was great that the toilet is separate. The soundproofing is also solid, and everything feels clean. Even during Obon, we were able to have breakfast without any waiting time. You can also check how crowded it is from your Room—this really is a wonderful long-established Hotel. I appreciate all the efforts being made here, and I would love to stay again.

Our stay at Lake no Sumika was the most memorable part of our trip to Hokkaido. The view of Lake Toya from our Room was truly beautiful, and we were able to relax and enjoy how the lake’s scenery changed throughout the day. The Facility and guest Room were very comfortable, making it feel like staying in a quiet private villa. Soaking in the Onsen while taking in the stunning view was a deeply relaxing and wonderful experience. If we have the chance to visit Hokkaido again, we would definitely like to stay at Lake no Sumika once more. It is also a Hotel we can confidently recommend to family and friends.

This large 11-story resort suddenly appeared as we drove along a rural mountain road. The building was clean and didn’t feel old at all. The Japanese-Western style Room was also very practical. The Onsen is a simple hot spring, but both the indoor and outdoor baths are spacious. At the back of the large open-air bath, there were various small tubs that looked like they had bath additives in them, which was fun in its own way. Meals were served buffet-style in a large restaurant. There was an incredible variety of dishes, and there was quite a long line in front of the Western food counter. It seems great for families with children to enjoy dining, but for older guests it’s hard to eat that much and tiring to walk around, so I wished there had been a set menu option. As a Diamond member benefit, we received a full-size bottle of sparkling wine and finished it, but it was too much for just the two of us as a couple. It would have been nice if we could choose something like two cans of beer instead.

This Hotel seems to have opened recently, and it was very clean throughout, including the guest rooms, making for a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were efficient and genuinely welcoming, which felt very comfortable. In addition, the in-room Facilities and the bed were easy to use and extremely comfortable—nothing to complain about. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. PS: Draft beer is available free of charge at the front desk until 8:00 PM.

We were very satisfied, but if possible, we have three requests: 1) Since the bathroom has both a bathtub and a washing area, we would like a wash bucket. 2) Since the bathroom has both a bathtub and a washing area, we would like a mirror in the bathroom. 3) We would like hooks for bath towels by the sink. It was a wonderful stay, and I was very satisfied, with the unique aesthetic of architect Togo Murano felt throughout. The Hotel is surrounded by lush nature, making it pleasant to enjoy a relaxing walk. At the same time, taking the subway gets you to the city center in about 15 minutes, so access is very convenient. The breakfast I had been looking forward to offered just the right variety for both Western and Japanese options, and everything was delicious. Although I don’t usually wear provided pajamas, they matched the Hotel’s refined atmosphere perfectly, so I enjoyed wearing them this time. The walk from the elevator to my room was a bit long, but being able to stroll while admiring the beautiful courtyard view through the windows made even that travel time feel like a relaxing moment.
