Everything was always clean, and I had a very comfortable stay! All of the staff provided wonderful hospitality. This time, I chose the “Tajima Beef Colorful Kaiseki” course! They carefully explained each dish, which made it even more enjoyable. I was able to fully enjoy Kinosaki at night.

Thank you very much for the wonderful opportunity to stay with you. From the moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was captivated by a space where FAUCHON’s glamorous, refined world blends beautifully with Kyoto’s elegant and tranquil sense of aesthetics. The design throughout the guest rooms and public areas was exquisite in every detail, creating a truly extraordinary experience. I felt that the unique atmosphere—where FAUCHON harmonizes with Kyoto’s traditional culture—is a distinctive charm found only at this Hotel. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to enjoy dinner this time, but I did have breakfast at the top-floor restaurant. In the morning, as I entered the sophisticated space bathed in brilliant light, a beautiful view of Higashiyama unfolded before me, and I found myself completely absorbed by the stunning scenery. Breakfast enjoyed amid the openness unique to the top floor was exceptional, making my stay in Kyoto even richer and more memorable. The top-floor restaurant is known as a place where guests can enjoy their meal along with spectacular views. I was also deeply impressed by the staff’s attentive and warm hospitality. Through each thoughtful gesture, I could truly feel how much they value their guests, and it made my stay extremely comfortable. This stay was not merely Accommodation, but a special experience of fine cuisine, culture, and high-quality time. When I visit Kyoto again, I would love to stay here once more. It was an unforgettable stay where Parisian elegance and Kyoto’s charm were beautifully in harmony.

This was our first stay here. Although we originally planned to come by car and had to switch to the train at short notice, you still picked us up at the scheduled time. The Room was just the right size for two people, and we also appreciated how clean it was. There were plenty of amenities and many complimentary drinks, so we were able to relax and take our time. Each dish was carefully prepared, and combined with dining in a private room, it felt truly luxurious. Everything tasted excellent. We enjoyed the chocolates served at the end of dinner during our morning coffee time. The late-night snack was also refined and delicious. The bath required adjusting the temperature, but that actually allowed us to set it exactly how we liked it, which was great. As it is a sulfur hot spring, there was a faint scent that lingered after bathing, but it wasn’t too strong—just enough to feel its benefits. Breakfast was also delicious: kamameshi cooked with dashi with slightly indulgent side dishes, all thoughtfully prepared. Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay.

Both dinner and breakfast are lavish, spectacular meals. You can enjoy outstanding dishes that feel like the very best from all over Japan. We recommend arriving at the Accommodation very hungry. It was a shame I was so full that I could hardly eat the late-night rice balls.

We stayed here on a family trip, and although we arrived too late for dinner, thank you for your kind and accommodating service. It was a shame I couldn’t try the wine. I bought some wine to take home on the way back, and it was delicious. I wish I could have tasted it before buying. Next time, I’d like to enjoy the wine while taking my time over the meal. The Onsen was also great. I would definitely like to visit again.

This was my third visit this year. I enjoyed the Japanese cuisine on my previous stay, so I chose the kaiseki course again this time. When a seasoned male staff member served our meal, he said, “You visited in May last time, didn’t you?” I was truly touched that he took the time to check (and I’m sorry—I mistakenly said I came in June). The attentive service, breathtaking views, excellent hot spring water quality, spotless changing area, and beautiful interior—this Hotel is the best for me. I hope it will always remain a calm and relaxing place.

We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary trip. Every meal was delicious!! The in-room open-air bath was wonderful, and we were able to relax in the Japanese-Western style Room, which we were very satisfied with! They even prepared a celebratory plate during dinner—it truly made for a happy one-night stay! Thank you very much. We were also happy that the drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary! We would love to stay here again when we visit Hakone!

Free on-site surface parking. A gas station is nearby; McDonald’s and the Valor supermarket are next door; Sukiya is across the road; and Takoman (a local confectionery) is just opposite. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff’s warm smiles make you feel at ease. Even the housekeeping team greets you with a smile, not just the front desk, which is very pleasant. The large public bath has long opening hours, feels very clean, and is spacious. When I asked to have the air purifier replaced, they brought one right away. They also kindly explained that what I thought was dirt wasn’t actually dirt (they were considerate so I wouldn’t feel embarrassed). I didn’t catch their name, but thank you for your help despite being busy. It was so good that I extended my stay to a Multiple Night Stay.

Thank you for your very kind support, including answering our questions in advance, which made our trip truly comfortable. We were a little worried about the weather, but it was mostly cloudy, and even when it rained it was only a light drizzle, so we were able to enjoy the BBQ as well. The BBQ oven was set up just outside on the terrace under a roof, so we could use it with peace of mind. The Room was extremely clean, and all the amenities were stylish. There was also a washing machine, which was very convenient for doing laundry on site. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

My friend and I stayed here to enjoy the outlet shopping. The Reviews were excellent, so we chose this Hotel instead of one inside the outlet—and it was absolutely the right decision! The room was spacious and relaxing, with a very comfortable double bed. The amenities were wonderfully well stocked, and we were truly impressed by the large, easy-to-use bathroom. For dinner we chose teppanyaki, which was outstanding. We were more than satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the ingredients, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine as well. If I could make just one request: after relaxing in the bath and before dinner, it would be even better if there were a place where we could enjoy an aperitif. Both the Facility and service were impeccable, and we had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much—we would definitely love to stay again next time.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 3-day, 2-night stay. We visited to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and thanks to your thoughtful hospitality, we were able to enjoy a relaxing and healing trip. Thank you. At the beach below the Hotel, it was quite windy due to a low-pressure system, but we were still able to snorkel and see some fish. The Room was just the right size, and we could relax comfortably. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath on the 5th floor without worrying about time, which made for a very restful experience. The meals were delicious from the jimami potage onward. Breakfast was also just the right amount and very enjoyable. It felt like there were more Western guests than we expected. We heard that an annex is scheduled to be completed next year, so we are really looking forward to it. We would love to stay with you again next time.

There is a fully equipped grooming room, and the high-quality shampoo and conditioner were excellent—we were very satisfied. The view was disappointing due to dense fog and rain, but we had a great time playing in the covered dog run. We also received plenty of treats and food for our dogs, so we will definitely be back.

This time I was in Memanbetsu for work and mostly just slept, but thanks to the warm hospitality of your staff, I was able to relax and enjoy a restful stay. Thank you very much. This was my first stay, and everything was wonderful—from the check-in with oyaki and complimentary drinks, to the atmosphere of the Room, and the open-air bath attached to the Room. The cuisine also featured ingredients and cooking methods I don’t usually experience, but it was truly delicious and I was very satisfied. What left the strongest impression was how every staff member had a lovely smile and never forgot attentive, thoughtful service even when busy. It’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

This was my first stay during the Obon holiday season. After sightseeing in the intense heat, I checked in early, and from the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish interior. Drinks were available whenever I wanted, and above all, I was amazed at how pet-friendly this Hotel is in every way. For dinner, they provided a pet cart, which made it easy and comfortable to enjoy a walk and our meal. The hot dogs were delicious, and breakfast was stylish with generous portions—I was very satisfied. I would be even happier if dinner service were available as well. All of the staff were kind, and I would love to stay again.

This was my third stay. The Room was very clean. I booked the Hotel’s choice Plan, and they upgraded me to a Premium Single Room, which I was very satisfied with. The TV was very large, and the Room size was also more than satisfactory. The bath area has one large bathtub, a sauna, and a cold bath; compared to Hotels with only unit baths, the level of satisfaction is completely different. I can recommend the breakfast. I don’t think there are many items, but I especially recommend the rice and pork miso soup. The grated yam, egg-over-rice, croissants, and more were all very delicious. If I have another chance to stay in Koshigaya, I will use this Accommodation again.

My best friend and I stayed for one night in a suite. The staff’s service was outstanding, and we received such warm, heartfelt hospitality. The meals were just as delicious as we’d heard—no, even better than expected. When you travel, you want to enjoy local specialties, right? The dishes here use plenty of ingredients from Chiba, and enjoying them while looking out at the sea of Chiba is pure luxury… simply unforgettable! We were told the ingredients change with the seasons, so next time I’d love to visit in a season other than summer. Also, if anyone planning to stay is reading this Review, please be sure to check out the booklet on the bedside table: a hand-written guide by the proprietress introducing Chiba and providing information about the Accommodation. Each page is carefully made, and it really conveyed her love for the Accommodation and her warm hospitality—it left a lasting impression. She also left us a note with the sunrise time, so we woke up early and watched it from the Hotel deck. It was truly beautiful, so I’m attaching photos from that moment. It became an unforgettable trip to Kamogawa. Thank you very much!

True to its claim of being an “auberge,” this Accommodation’s cuisine was genuinely outstanding. The presentation, tableware, and seasoning—everything was superb, and I’d rate the food among the very best of anywhere we’ve stayed. We were told even the small details, like dressings and ponzu sauce, are handmade, and you could feel the care put into every single dish. Each piece of tableware had its own character as well, making it a feast for the eyes. The dining area features calm table seating that feels like semi-private rooms. Each course was explained carefully, and my husband and I were so impressed we lost count of how many times we said “delicious” and “amazing.” The portions were more than enough—we were both completely full. We also ordered the recommended extra horse sashimi, which was excellent. Breakfast is Japanese-style as well—beautifully arranged like a kaiseki set—and we were very satisfied with everything from a salad made with fresh local vegetables to drinkable yogurt and even after-meal coffee. My husband was especially impressed by how good the rice was, while I really enjoyed the rice porridge. The Onsen is true free-flowing natural spring water; every time we entered the bath, hot water overflowed generously from the tub—a luxury we enjoyed again and again. The two private baths are also spacious and felt wonderful. You can sense some age in the building and Facility features, but everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. That said, the air conditioner is an older model and difficult to adjust; in particular, it was hard to control airflow in the upstairs bedroom of our maisonette room type, which was a bit disappointing. Also, for greater peace of mind regarding hygiene, it would be reassuring if the in-room fabric slippers were either disposable or came with clearly indicated sanitation management. All staff members were courteous; their explanations—even for delicate details about each dish—were easy to understand, and we never felt any stress in communication. There were a few minor Facility-related points that stood out, but they were more than outweighed by our satisfaction with the cuisine, Onsen experience, and service. The food especially left such a strong impression that my husband and I still talk about how truly delicious it was. It was late summer then with lively cicada songs still filling the air—but we would love to return to enjoy seasonal dishes at another time of year as well.
