Hotel Global View Urawa

I stayed at this Hotel as a base for sightseeing in Tokyo.The location is excellent—Urawa Corso and Isetan are about a 1-minute walk away, so shopping is very convenient. During my trip I needed extra clothes, and being able to buy them right away at UNIQLO was a big help. There’s also a convenience store nearby, which makes it easy to pick up small items and drinks.Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying overall (they even served eel on the day I stayed). The breakfast venue is on an upper floor with nice views and an open feel. That said, the view overlooks the Urawa city area, so it’s more about enjoying the cityscape than dramatic scenery.The Hotel facilities seemed recently renovated and were clean overall. While there were a few spots that showed their age, nothing felt inconvenient.One thing I noticed was that although I had reserved a non-smoking Room, there was a faint lingering smell of tobacco. It may be from before the renovation, but guests who are sensitive to odors might find it noticeable.Overall, with its great location and excellent breakfast, I think this is a recommended Hotel for sightseeing in Tokyo or for stays related to errands in the Urawa/Omiya area.

This was my first stay at this Hotel. It’s conveniently located within walking distance from the East Exit of Urawa Station, and both the Hotel and the Room were clean, making for a comfortable stay. The sleepwear was a separate pajama set with front buttons. Since I tend to get warm but also feel chilly at times, I kept the air conditioner on, and being able to button it up all the way helped me sleep comfortably without feeling too hot or cold. I slept soundly until 30 minutes before check-out. I’d definitely like to stay at this Hotel again.
