Tamana Onsen features an alkaline simple spring that is gentle on the body and allows multiple baths a day with therapeutic benefits. "Yusato" has an impressive building but older facilities. The rooms are simple yet well-maintained with thorough cleaning. Both indoor and outdoor onsen offer abundant natural hot spring water directly from the source without recycling. The accommodation includes a modest yet nutritionally balanced breakfast and costs around 6,000 yen even during weekends or holidays—making it confidently recommendable as Kyushu's top choice for therapeutic stays.For business or pure sightseeing purposes, reviews of this ryokan may be less favorable due to its location—a 20-minute walk from Tamana Station or Shin-Tamana Station—and its uphill approach.However, if your goal is a high-quality natural hot spring experience for therapeutic purposes, opinions shift entirely positive.It stands as one of the best accommodations comparable to Tohoku's Hijiori Onsen.Lastly, all staff members work efficiently with excellent service.Definitely worth repeating!
