Asahi Century Hotel

This was my first time staying here with friends. At check-in, the front desk staff greeted us with a warm smile, which made us feel at ease. The exterior and hallways felt a bit dated, but the Room had been renovated and was very clean and stylish. The view was great too, making our trip even more enjoyable. I didn’t use the bath, so I’m giving it 3 stars, but the shower room was also very clean. A friend accidentally left something important in the car and we suddenly needed to mail it out. When we asked at the front desk, they kindly lent us an envelope and glue (which we were planning to buy at a convenience store) and handled everything quickly—this really helped us a lot. When I was heating up some corn we received in the microwave, a staff member brought over a plate saying, “Would you like to use this?” There were many moments like this where we felt their thoughtful attention to detail. This is a Hotel I would definitely recommend to everyone. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

I stayed here while touring because there was a motorcycle event around Mt. Fuji, in a business cabin Room. There is covered motorcycle parking on the right side of the entrance—space for about 7 to 10 bikes.Because the walls are somewhat simply built, sound carries; it’s best to imagine a private booth at an internet café. The lock feels a bit flimsy—no real issue, but I feel the size of the lock itself also affects peace of mind. There is no private toilet or bath in this Room, but there are shared facilities, and for solo riders it’s enough to shower and sleep. There is also a large public bath.It was more than sufficient as a place to stay and recover energy—I’d like to see more Rooms like this. Some Hotels provide this sometimes, but it would be nice if there were a booklet in the Room introducing nearby restaurants and supermarkets.
