Oarai Hotel ANNEX Gyokurian

The amenities and complimentary drinks were well stocked. Although the sea was rough, we could see the torii gate of Oarai Shrine from the window, which was very impressive. (It was a shame we couldn’t see the sunrise due to bad weather.) We also received lots of helpful information about places to eat. There was no large public bath, but we used Oarai Hotel just a short walk away, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The Room was clean and nice as well.

It was in a great location—within about a 10-minute drive to Oarai Sun Beach, Marine Tower, Nakaminato Fishing Port, Aqua World Oarai Aquarium, and more. The Hotel itself is also right by the sea, and you can reach the beach in just a few minutes on foot, which is very convenient for a quick splash in the water. The Room was clean and spacious, and the ocean view was amazing. Breakfast is buffet-style with fairly standard offerings like many business hotels, but there was a wide variety of bread and it was delicious. The Room has a unit bath (UB), but if you prefer a larger bath, you can also use the large public bath at the affiliated Oarai Hotel (a 5-minute walk away) free of charge. The parking lot is small (space for 7 cars), so depending on availability you may need to use another parking area that’s a bit farther away, but since we didn’t drive out at night it wasn’t an inconvenience.Thank you for providing an experience that exceeded the cost.
