Hotel Kii Tanabe

The road to the Accommodation was narrow, and I got lost at first. The room was clean, and the Facility was satisfactory—sleep comfort was excellent, of course. The free breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was more than enough and I appreciated being able to use it. What felt most convenient was the guest-only parking lot. Just by having my parking ticket validated for free at the counter, I could come and go by car as I liked, which was great. The Accommodation Fee is reasonable as well, and I think it’s a good Hotel.

We stayed in two Rooms for a family of four to go to the beach, and even during the Obon holiday and with prices rising, it was very affordable. Driving from the station rotary, we got a little lost because of some one-way streets. The Facility is relatively new and very clean; both the Room and the parking lot were spacious, and the staff were polite and helpful. Maybe because our Room faced the parking lot, the train noise wasn’t as bothersome as expected, and we slept well. Breakfast had just the right amount and variety—enough without overeating—and personally I thought the bread and natto were delicious. For dinner we ate at an izakaya across the tracks. There are many independently owned restaurants nearby, so it doesn’t seem like you’d have trouble finding somewhere to eat. My only complaint was that maybe because it was a corner Room, the Wi-Fi signal was weak; there was also a calm, cute dog on the wood deck that made our kids happy. The kids said they want to come back to this Hotel again, so they really liked it—we’d love to stay here again.
