Hotel Odashima

It’s about a 15-minute walk from Morioka Station, and it makes for a pleasant stroll while enjoying the scenery and shopping streets. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and there’s also a FamilyMart on the first floor, so we had no trouble finding food and really enjoyed it. We’d definitely like to stay here again.

I was looking for an Accommodation where I could stay with my motorcycle, and I remembered seeing motorcycles parked near the entrance. When I checked with the Hotel, they said it was OK. An Accommodation where you can park your motorcycle under a roof is rare, so riders may want to consider this place.Some Reviews say the rooms are small, but if you’re used to business trips, it feels like a typical Business Hotel room size and shouldn’t feel unusual. Compared with newer stylish hotels today, it may feel smaller—but that’s reflected in the price (lol).Also, noise from the hallway or from upstairs seems normal for an older Business Hotel.I traveled for work for many years, so it felt about right to me.It’s close to the downtown area; Cinema Street is right nearby, and the famous Shokudoen is less than a 5-minute walk away. You won’t have any trouble finding dinner (you might even have trouble choosing).Breakfast is a solid buffet—I had two bowls of rice. In any case, it’s very affordable and excellent value.And a Hotel where you can park your motorcycle—there aren’t many like that.
