R-bend Hotel ATSUGI

Whenever I come to Atsugi, I always stay here. As a former local, this is the Hotel I recommend most. If you head toward OK Store as your landmark, it’s right across the street. You’ll pass through Ichibangai, so there are plenty of shops, and it’s also convenient for shopping at OK Store, one of Kanagawa’s larger stores. There’s also the best Western-style restaurant in Atsugi just behind the Hotel—if you’re aiming for their melt-in-your-mouth omurice, this Hotel has the best location.In the morning there is a light breakfast service, and the coffee is exceptionally good. It pairs perfectly with a boiled egg and toast. I always have one cup with breakfast, then another after eating; I put a lid on it and take it back to my Room. Sometimes I also see business travelers taking a cup to go on their way out.The Room is always clean, and they provide a nice set of bath salts and hair ties—great for women guests. Unusually (and very helpfully), there’s also a handheld mirror, which is convenient for contact lenses and makeup. The internet is fast and smooth as well, which really helps when I need to work. This time, the loungewear had been changed to a silky-smooth type—comfortable to wear and I slept very well. The front desk staff are pleasant too, and they always assist me kindly. The staff who prepare the light breakfast are friendly as well; they regularly check in and restock items so nothing runs out.Since the parking area in front of the Hotel is small, if you’re driving I think it’s best to consult with them in advance.

The unit bath showed slight age-related wear on part of the wall, but it was still clean.Breakfast is self-service and includes sliced bread, rolls, bananas, boiled eggs, coffee, and shoes.This was a very satisfying Business Hotel, and I would like to stay here again.
