Sabae City Hotel

I stayed for business.The building itself feels a bit dated with age, but it was very well cleaned, and above all the breakfast was truly delicious, so I was extremely satisfied.I’ve stayed at many business hotels, and this had the best breakfast!There was a great selection unique to Fukui Prefecture: Fukui-grown Koshihikari rice, Fukui-grown pickled plums, miso-braised mackerel, sauce katsudon-style cutlet, Echizen soba, and more. Even the shredded cabbage in the salad tasted noticeably fresh. It’s on the top floor with a great panoramic view.Air conditioning: It’s centrally controlled so I initially worried it might be warm, but it cooled properly—no issues.Amenities: If you need them, you can pick them up in the lobby.Refrigerator: Cools well. It was already turned on when I arrived.Parking: Not very large, but I was able to park.

It’s a bit old, but it didn’t bother me.The Room is spacious and comfortable.The location is inconvenient if you’re traveling by train, but it’s not an issue if you have a car.And even though breakfast is free, it’s truly delicious and high quality—amazing!I’m simply grateful for the wonderful breakfast!Also, the izakaya on the first floor was really delicious at night as well!If I stay in Sabae again next time, this is the only place I’ll choose!
