Yusuikikou Hotel Otaki

This was my first time staying here. The Room was spacious—there was plenty of space even for four people to sleep comfortably. The staff at reception were very kind and even told us where we could see the fireworks. The bath area was not crowded, so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. I could relax, and the open-air bath was excellent. However, the baths are in a separate building, and there is no roof over the walkway, so when it drizzled lightly the path became slippery and felt dangerous. Aside from that, everything was clean and well maintained—nothing to complain about. You can buy draft beer at the front desk, and both the glass and beer were ice-cold—it tasted better than any other beer! I would like to stay here again.

I stayed for four nights on a business trip. As a No Meals Included Hotel, it’s ideal for business use. The Room is spacious, and there is also an Onsen in the large public bath. If you want to relax and have dinner in your Room, you can also order delivery. If you’re not looking for a luxurious Onsen Accommodation, I think it offers excellent value for money. If you’re coming by train, it’s about a 15-minute walk from Kinugawa-Onsen Station, which may feel a bit far. Also, in-house slippers are available for an additional fee (I think it was 250 yen?), so if you definitely need slippers, it’s better to bring disposable ones with you.
