Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Nanki Kushimoto

This was my first time staying at Ooedo Onsen.I didn’t have high expectations for the breakfast and dinner buffets, but I was pleasantly surprised—they were excellent. There was a wide selection of sashimi, from seared bonito to tuna, and the sushi was genuinely tasty, not the small, slightly dry pieces you often find at buffets.There was also an impressive variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes—from vichyssoise to Sichuan-style mapo tofu and even Wakayama ramen—everything looked tempting.At breakfast there was plenty of sashimi as well, so many guests made their own seafood rice bowls.It was a bit disappointing that there was only one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, but it was helpful that amenities were well stocked—from cleansing oil and face wash to leave-in treatment.All rooms have an ocean view. We could see the sea, but I had hoped to see more of Hashigui-iwa; when I tried to open the window it couldn’t be opened. That said, considering safety and insect prevention, it may be unavoidable.Overall it was a wonderful stay, and I would love to return if I have another chance.

The Onsen and the meals were great.There was also a free drink dispenser, so the service was reasonably good...However, the night staff member (an older man) had the worst attitude.It didn’t feel like hospitality at all...I was shocked.
