Yoro Onsen Yusen no Sato Hotel Nadeshiko

You can enjoy a wide variety of baths, including milky hot-spring baths, a sauna, and a stone spa. We ended up soaking four times: after arrival, after dinner, in the morning bath, and again after breakfast. With an 11:00 checkout, you can really take your time. The meals were carefully seasoned and absolutely delicious. The sweet potato served at breakfast with lemon was especially outstanding. We used it as a base for sightseeing at Gifu Castle and Yoro Falls—staying at this Hotel has become part of the trip itself. Since it was the season, swallows were in the middle of building nests in the courtyard.

Since there’s nothing around, choosing a Plan with breakfast and dinner was the right call. At dinner, the red miso soup was forgotten and brought out after I had finished my rice. They seemed busy, so it couldn’t be helped. It would be perfect if there were some fried dishes. I used the bath in the accommodation building, so it felt like having it to myself. There wasn’t an open-air bath, but I could relax. The day-use Facility seemed crowded because it was Golden Week. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, and it’s easy to overeat. My Room was on the first floor, but there was no noise from upstairs or next door, and I slept very well. There is a roofed walkway from reception to the Room, but you do have to step outside once, so depending on the weather and season it might feel a bit inconvenient. I’d like to visit again in a nicer season.
