Yataro & Yataro South Building

I made a Reservation with breakfast only and originally planned to go out for dinner and then enjoy the night view from Mt. Inasa. After sightseeing around the city during the day, I was exhausted and checked in to rest. The Harbor View high-floor Japanese-style Room truly lived up to its name—large windows and an even better view than I expected. Since I was so tired, I decided not to push myself to go out at night and instead drove about 5 minutes to a supermarket to buy drinks and snacks. (There is a microwave in the vending machine area across from the shop.) After washing off in the large public bath, I relaxed by the big window and fully enjoyed the sunset, evening glow, night view, and panoramic scenery of Nagasaki! Choosing this Hotel—and this Room—was absolutely the right decision.

The building felt a bit old, but the room was clean. The night view was beautiful, and at dinner they prepared a window-side seat with a great view. It was a little cold being right by the window, so I wished there had been something warm like soup (though it would have been difficult since it was hot during the day). I also thought it would have been nice to have more dishes, including more local specialties. As for the bath, it was disappointing that the windows in the panoramic bath were not clean enough to really enjoy the view. I forgot something in the bath area, but it had been placed near the front desk as lost property, and I appreciated getting it back.
