Tendo Hotel: A Quest for Authentic Taste

I saw in a Review that the premium lounge could be used from 12:00 before check-in, so I made a Reservation at this Accommodation. The lounge had a great selection of snacks, canned beer, chuhai, and wine. After relaxing there, we checked in and went to the baths. We could unwind again while looking at the gorgeous waterfall. After the bath, we enjoyed draft beer as a welcome drink in the spacious lobby. The tama-konnyaku was also well-seasoned and delicious. The massage chairs in the lounge felt amazing, and we used the lounge many times. Dinner was served in a Room with a panoramic view over Tendo, and we chose the chef’s omakase course—braised whole shark fin and sirloin steak. It was outstanding. At breakfast, my mother in her 80s was able to take her time choosing items using a cart with her tray on it. It was our first time staying at an Accommodation that provided carts like this. We were satisfied with everything—thank you very much.

I first visited in February this year and loved it so much that I came back again for this year’s trip with my parents. My parents also said the waterfall view from the lobby was wonderful, the private bath was spacious, and the large public bath was also very roomy and enjoyable. For dinner, we had a sukiyaki course in a private dining room—the meat was delicious, and they said every other dish was great as well. Breakfast had so many options that we took too much and couldn’t finish it all. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the waterfall could have been running from 5:30 a.m. in the morning as well. I hadn’t noticed the posted notice carefully, so when my mother and I went to the public bath in the morning, we were surprised. Still, my parents were very satisfied, so it turned into a truly wonderful trip. Thank you very much.
