Hotel Crown Hills Kimitsu

Welcome drinks included not only soft drinks but also alcohol, along with snacks. We also appreciated the child-friendly amenities such as kids’ slippers and picture books, which were very helpful. One concern was that the emergency stairwell door on the way to our Room was left open until 10:00 PM; a staff member happened to notice and close it, so we wondered if it had been forgotten and felt uneasy that someone from outside could enter.The meals were mainly Japanese cuisine with a few Western options as well, and we were satisfied!We would love to stay again when we visit Kamogawa!

We stayed from 8/15 to 8/16 during the Obon season as a family of three. There were many families, which gave us a sense of security. There was also a fireworks festival nearby, and it seemed that couples were staying as well. We chose a plan with two connecting rooms, which turned out to be the right choice. With two bathrooms with bathtubs, we didn’t have to rush before bed or in the morning. Some reviews mention that the bath is small, but for this type of hotel, being able to stretch out and relax was enough to relieve our fatigue. The bathroom was also clean. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options for both rice and bread lovers and was delicious. The eggplant simmered dish, hamburg steak, and tandoori chicken were particularly flavorful. The facility has an older feel, but all staff members—including international ones—were cheerful and pleasant! Considering it was peak season for three people in our family, it offered great value for money—we’d love to stay again!
