Hotel Crown Hills Yamagata

I stayed here recently.There is a large public bath, which is an important point for winter stays. There was an issue with the Room air conditioning this time, but it was handled promptly, and I also appreciated the apology at check-out. I highly recommend the excellent customer service.Also, the From Zao yogurt at breakfast was very delicious and highly recommended. Thank you very much.

It was great that I could stay for a price in the 6,000-yen range on a weekend, with breakfast included and an Onsen, and only a 2–3 minute walk from Yamagata Station East Exit. Since I drove, I used a paid parking lot near the Hotel. There is also a partner parking lot for the Hotel, but nearby lots are also just over 1,000 yen.The building feels old, so I was briefly worried I’d made a mistake… but my stay was comfortable.Next to the front desk, there were self-service amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, pillows, extension cords, coffee/tea/ice/cups, etc. The pillow I borrowed there was perfect—I slept very well at night.The Room was spacious enough to open even a large suitcase. It was nice to have space by the window to place luggage. The in-room bath is quite small even for me as a woman. Since there is an Onsen on the 4th floor, I think it’s better to use that.It was disappointing that the Room refrigerator was small and had no freezer compartment.Breakfast had quite a good variety—salad, curry, bread, side dishes, and more. The curry with chunky eggplant was delicious. You can have a solid meal in the morning.I think it’s a Hotel with great value for money.
