Thank you very much for taking care of me during my stay.This was a solo trip to an Accommodation I had wanted to stay at for the past 15 years, and my wish finally came true.It’s been difficult to coordinate schedules with family and friends, so I was grateful that solo stays were possible.The beautiful Tateyama Mountain Range and fresh greenery were stunning.The sea is also appealing, but this time my main goal was to relax quietly and enjoy the Onsen. I chose this Accommodation expecting great cuisine and an Onsen experience—and it was absolutely the right choice!Delicious Toyama specialties that more than met my expectations,and I could truly feel the chef’s careful attention to detail.The view of the Tateyama Mountain Range from the in-room open-air bath, along with birdsong, was unforgettable.I was also deeply moved by the warm hospitality of the female staff in the restaurant.The entire property was clean and comfortable, and I slept soundly for the first time in a while.Next time, I would love to visit again with friends or family.Thank you very much.

An Accommodation located at the end of a narrow local road with no center line, following the navigation.This Onsen Accommodation is in Kamiichi Town, which isn’t very well-known in Toyama Prefecture. Even I, living next door in Ishikawa Prefecture, didn’t know about it until recently—but I decided to visit because you can see Mt. Tsurugi from the Room.It’s a compact four-story building, but they also have Rooms with an open-air Onsen bath, which is great for hot-spring lovers.The meals use plenty of local ingredients, and the seasoning was exactly to my taste. In particular, the menma (seasoned bamboo shoots) in the hot pot—something Kamiichi Town is working hard to promote as a specialty—was the best I’ve ever had. It was a shame it wasn’t available in the shop.When you order chilled sake, it’s served in a pewter katakuchi and guinomi made by Nousaku in Takaoka City. I use them regularly myself and think they’re outstanding sake vessels that truly enhance the flavor. They’re expensive and rarely seen at restaurants, so I highly recommend trying them if you haven’t before.Although there’s some age to the place overall, there were no inconveniences. With delicious food that reflects genuine local pride, this is an excellent Accommodation that made me want to stay again and again.
