  The unmanned shop feels futuristic.

  Located along Watanabe-dori in Hakata, slightly south of the Yakuin area. There is a 7-Eleven across the street, and there are a decent number of restaurants nearby, so it’s convenient, though it does feel a bit far from busy areas like Tenjin. It seems to have been renovated; everything feels new and stylish with an almost futuristic vibe, and there’s no sense of age at all. A standout feature is the fully unmanned shop. If you register your credit card in your room, you can simply take items and walk out for automatic payment. However, most of the products were original goods or very unique snacks and drinks, so I ended up shopping at the convenience store instead. The room is small but efficiently laid out, with a desk suitable for PC work. The stylish hooks above the headboard were a nice touch. The bathroom has only a shower booth, but it’s clean and easy to use. Unfortunately, the pool and sauna were still under construction and unavailable. I’d like to use them next time I visit.

  Overseas-Style Hotel

  It’s very clean, as it has just opened. The lobby is stylish and really lifts your mood. Check-in feels more international, so it may be a bit difficult for older guests, but the Room was compact yet relaxing and tastefully designed. It’s a favorite!
