    As the property has only recently opened, the Room and Facility are very clean, but the air conditioner was noisy and did not cool well.

    A clean Room

    I stayed here because it’s a new Hotel under the Metropolitan brand. The Room had a casual feel, and being new, it was very clean. It also had a mini-kitchen, which was convenient for eating in the Room. The sink area and toilet didn’t feel cramped, which was nice. I overlooked that there is no bathtub in the Room—only a shower—but I was told I could use a nearby JR spa for free, so I did. The carbonated bath was great. As for the Facility, it was disappointing that the air conditioner was so loud that I couldn’t fall asleep. Even though it’s new, I wondered why it was that noisy. There were earplugs provided, but I didn’t notice them until morning and couldn’t use them. The beds were single twin beds, but they were far too narrow. This Room may not be recommended for men or larger guests. I made a Reservation thinking it would be a twin room, but if it’s this small, I wish I had chosen a larger Room instead. Overall, aside from the noise from the air conditioning and the bed width, the Room was good. The bed issue could likely be solved by changing Rooms, but I would like to see improvement in the air-conditioning noise. It may become an important factor when deciding whether to choose this Hotel again next time. Breakfast lets you choose a main dish along with a salad bar and drink bar; if you’re fine with a light breakfast, it tasted good and was more than sufficient.

    Room Layout for Extended Stays

    With its long-stay style layout, the Room has a low step at the entrance, which naturally encourages you to take off your shoes—something I really appreciated. Both the bathroom and toilet have plenty of space, and there’s also a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and enough dishes that it felt like you could live there on your own. The bed was comfortable as well. One downside was that the air conditioner was noisy. Since it was fairly cool that night, I turned it off and slept. The amenities were Sekkisei, which I was happy about. Check-in and check-out were done by machine, but staff were nearby, keeping just the right distance.

    Stylish

    A Hotel like Mitsui Garden Hotel Sendai, but without the large public bath and the in-room bathtub. The windows are large, and the sense of luxury is excellent. It’s a Hotel I like.

    The Facility and location were satisfactory, but the staff’s service was disappointing.

    The Room was thoughtfully designed to make the most of the limited space and stay comfortable, and it was a nice touch that the shower, sink, and toilet were all separate. The self check-in kiosks and self-service lockers were also convenient, and overall I’m satisfied with the Facility and location. However, I was disappointed with the front desk staff’s response. During our stay, my companion was injured in an incident related to a Hotel Facility. Even if we may have been partly at fault, I was honestly surprised by how little concern or consideration was shown toward an injured guest. Because this is a well-equipped Hotel in a great location, I hope you will improve safety measures for unexpected situations as well as staff hospitality and responsiveness.

    We stayed here with ...

    We stayed here with my son and daughter-in-law and our 2-year-old grandchild, four of us in total, to visit the Anpanman Museum. The Room was spacious and clean, and our grandchild was thrilled and ran around happily. Adults could also take off their shoes and relax comfortably, which helped us fully recover from travel fatigue. It was conveniently close to the station, and breakfast was delicious with just the right portion size. During breakfast, we really appreciated your thoughtful attention to our grandchild. If we have a chance to visit Sendai again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    Sendai Station Front Business Hotel No. 1

    I have visited Sendai many times for travel and stayed at many Hotels, but I don’t think I’ve ever found a Hotel that suits me this well—it truly has everything I could wish for. Front desk services are streamlined, but the staff greet guests properly, and both the facilities and rooms are kept very clean. It was extremely comfortable for me, so I plan to stay here often in the future.

    The listing said gue...

    The listing said guests could use a nearby spa with their Reservation, but when I asked the front desk to use it that day, I was told it is not available on Fridays. If so, this should be clearly stated at the time of Reservation. There was no alternative option or discount, which was very disappointing and felt misleading. The self-service check-in and check-out are convenient, but there were no staff at the counter and not even a greeting. The Room is new and clean, and the location is convenient near the station, but I would not stay again.

    Midnight biker gangs

    It’s a wonderful Hotel. Unfortunately, the noise from motorcycle gangs late at night can’t really be helped.

    Highly satisfied

    We were extremely satisfied with the location, price, and hospitality. Check-in and check-out are done via an automated kiosk. Since I had shipped my luggage ahead, I couldn’t use the machine, but the staff kindly assisted me. You can also ship luggage via Yamato when you leave. Amenities are available in each elevator lobby—and they’re Sekkisei! There were also bath salts. In the Room, there was a paper carton of water for each guest. In addition to a separate bath, toilet, and sink layout, there’s a mini kitchen! There’s also a microwave in the Room, so you can heat up bento boxes bought at S-PAL and enjoy them. Glasses are stored in a drawer as well. The Room is fairly spacious—no problem even for three adults. The freezer was also quite large. We only stayed one night, but it’s perfect for longer stays too. The bathroom is spacious and has a washing area, and the shower head is ReFa. It seemed like the staff may also handle the restaurant register? I didn’t use the restaurant so I’m not sure, but it didn’t feel like there was a typical “front desk.” They looked busy, but their service was kind and attentive. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    About a 2-minute wal...

    About a 2-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Sendai Station. It is in the building next to Hotel Metropolitan Sendai (Main Building). It is a very clean Hotel. The room had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to sleep well. I was very satisfied with the meals. The curry and salad I had at the cafe on the first floor of the Hotel were delicious. Next time, I would like to stay here for leisure travel.

    I’ve been curious about it.

    I never expected a Hotel to be built in that location. Since it hasn’t even been a month since opening, I received a commemorative pouch. As it neared completion, I wanted to stay there, so I did a Multiple Night Stay along with Metropolitan Sendai. Near the elevator, amenities are available for self-service, and items like a rotating hair dryer are also provided for loan. The TV screen was larger than I expected, and there was also a microwave; dishes such as plates and wine glasses were provided, along with detergent. It felt like what a studio apartment might be like. There were two refrigerators side by side, so I could buy desserts inside the station and chill them—really nice. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the sink area has plenty of shelves, which was helpful. I was happy that the bathroom has a washing area as well. There are slip-on shoes provided, but they were too large and heavy. Breakfast is a half-buffet with salad and drinks; the service was polite, and I could enjoy it slowly in peace and quiet. It’s small but well laid out with good flow, and there’s also an in-room safe—overall very satisfying—but I hope it won’t be trashed by ill-mannered foreign tourists.

    Overall, I’m satisfied.

    I was very satisfied with the services, Facilities, and amenities that matched the Hotel’s concept, but there was one issue. It may have been a Room that hadn’t been used yet, but there was dust everywhere inside, and just raising the blinds sent a large amount of dust into the air. The air purifier was also covered in dust, and I was worried it would spread it if I turned it on, so I wiped it down before using it. At checkout, I confirmed that Room cleaning is done after use, but I think unused Rooms should also be inspected regularly and cleaned when necessary. If this point is improved, it’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.
