  Excellent value for money — a wonderful Hotel

  Thank you very much for your hospitality. This is my favorite Hotel with amazing value for money—I’m a repeat guest. All the staff were truly pleasant, kind, attentive, and gentle, which made me very happy. Thank you for accommodating my request. This time I stayed in a slightly larger twin Room. It was tastefully arranged, very clean and spotless, and extremely comfortable. Amenities are available to take freely next to the front desk. Even though it has convenient access to Budokan and Tokyo Dome, I think it’s a wonderful Hotel with excellent value for money at this price. Next time I’d like to stay in an even larger Room.

  The air conditioning was too cold, and the pillow was too firm and too high.

  The air conditioning seemed weak—perhaps even on low it was around 23°C—so I felt cold even with a thick comforter and slept wearing two layers. Also, the pillow was too high and felt like it would strain my neck, so I folded and stacked all my clothes like camping and used them as a pillow. At first, because of the front desk staff’s service, the renovated Room, and the convenient location near Tokyo Dome, I thought I would definitely make a Reservation here again. However, by bedtime I unfortunately felt that there wouldn’t be a next time. These days many places offer several types of pillows, so I hope you will consider this. As for the air conditioning, older Hotels often have centralized systems that don’t allow detailed temperature settings, which makes it difficult. Breakfast was described as Chinese only, but there were also bread and plain white rice available, so it wasn’t a problem. It seemed like they re-fried the spring rolls after some time had passed. Everything other than the air conditioning and pillow was good, which made it feel like a wasted opportunity for this Hotel.

First, we were delighted to read your kind comments regarding our front desk staff, the renovated guest rooms, and the convenient access to Tokyo Dome. We are also relieved to hear that you were able to enjoy breakfast without inconvenience by choosing bread and steamed rice in addition to the Chinese menu items. However, we sincerely apologize that we were unable to provide a comfortable environment for you to rest due to the air conditioning and the pillow. We truly regret that the cooling felt too cold, requiring you to sleep with extra layers on, and that the pillow height did not suit you, forcing you to make adjustments on your own. Although you kindly felt upon arrival that you would like to stay with us again next time, we take very seriously that discomfort during your rest led you to feel there would not be a next time. Regarding pillows, as many hotels in recent years have introduced services allowing guests to choose from different types, we will treat your feedback as valuable input for improving our services. As for the air conditioning as well, we recognize it as a Facility-related issue and will consider measures to create a more comfortable environment for our guests.   Looking for accommodation for the Nogizaka live concert.

  This was my first stay, and the Room was very clean, so I had a comfortable time! It’s also close to Tokyo Dome and in a great location, so I’d like to stay again when there’s an event.

  Please ensure the front desk provides attentive, reliable service.

  This was my first visit, and I think the Nishikigoi carp at the restaurant are wonderful. Please improve the front desk service. The male staff member didn’t know anything no matter what I asked—whether there is an elevator at the pedestrian bridge at Iidabashi Station, or whether there is a crosswalk nearby. Please do your front desk duties properly by understanding the surrounding area. Also, when I asked for extra towels because I wanted to do stretching in my Room, he didn’t even know what “stretching” meant. That level of ignorance is unacceptable. The Room was also cold, so I would like a heater provided. The restaurant is operated separately, but even when I asked the front desk what kind of place it was, they didn’t know. Please see it for yourselves and understand it. Is the front desk staffed by part-time workers? If so, this Hotel fails to meet basic standards. Please check a local map and understand things like how close you are to the Oedo Line—there was no guidance at all. The restaurant is excellent—please look at the photos. I would like to visit again. They also couldn’t explain the view from my Room, so please familiarize yourselves with each Room and its view. I’ve never seen such careless and uninformed front desk service; however, the female staff member was reliable. Overall, though, I’d like to come again.

On the other hand, we sincerely and deeply apologize for the discomfort and distrust caused by our front desk staff’s response in many respects. We deeply regret that we were unable to answer appropriately regarding local guidance (such as facilities at Iidabashi Station and whether there are crosswalks), and that we did not provide sufficient information about our in-house Facility or the restaurant—this is unacceptable for a Hotel, and it has made us keenly aware of shortcomings in staff training and internal information sharing. In addition, our failure to correctly understand what you meant by your request for “flexibility” is something we take very seriously as a lack of fundamental customer service skills. We also apologize for any inconvenience caused regarding the room temperature. We recognize that improvements are needed both in terms of equipment and how we provide guidance.   A clean, great-value Hotel

  Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was my first stay, and all of the staff were truly pleasant, kind, and attentive, which made me very happy. I arrived before the check-in time, but you kindly allowed me to check in a little early, so I could use my time well—it was wonderful. Thank you again. The Room was tastefully put together and very clean. Amenities were available for guests to take freely next to the front desk. The honey tea was a lovely touch. I also received a limited-time free admission ticket to Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, so I was able to take a relaxing stroll the next day. Even though it has convenient access to Budokan and Tokyo Dome, being able to stay at this price felt like excellent value—this is a wonderful Hotel with great cost performance.
