    A standard Business Hotel

    It was an ordinary Business Hotel (the Facility is old). The walls and other areas showed signs of wear. Since it was listed on IKYU, I may have expected too much, and I’ve stayed at another Hotel in the same group where the welcome drink and the Room were excellent, so this time I was a bit disappointed. Still, it felt fair for the price. The staff were very good.

    Under construction.

    Many Facilities were under construction and unavailable. They offered sake and beer at the entrance, but with both hands full I couldn’t take it back to the Room, there was nowhere to sit and drink on the spot, and the service hours were limited, so honestly I didn’t see the point. I booked a twin Room, but it only had space for one thing at a time—once I opened my luggage, there was barely any room to step. There were no power outlets by the bed, so charging my phone while in bed was impractical because it was too far away, and there was very limited space even to set up a laptop for work—it felt inconvenient in every way... Maybe they were doing maintenance on various things, but I wish they had planned it more thoughtfully...

    Both nights of my Multiple Night Stay were so noisy that I couldn’t sleep enough, and it affected my work.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, but despite checking in late the previous day, on the first day I was woken up early by drilling noise from the neighboring Room. On the second day, on the 4th floor facing the main road, I couldn’t sleep well due to traffic and train noise. After two consecutive days of sleep deprivation, it affected my work. If you’re not sensitive to noise you might tolerate it, but for most people it’s not realistic. I stay about 150 nights a year, and this was the worst Hotel I’ve ever experienced—a typical case of “you get what you pay for.” I will never stay here again.

    This Hotel was inconsiderate—I was woken up by noise.

    After 8:30 a.m., construction started in the neighboring Room, with loud drilling and hammering that woke me up. This Hotel showed no consideration—if guests check in late, it’s only reasonable to expect they may wake up later. I stayed the next day as well, but this time I was on the 4th floor facing the main road, and I couldn’t sleep due to noise from cars and trains. After two consecutive days of sleep deprivation, it naturally affected my work. It might be fine for people who aren’t sensitive to noise, but I don’t think it’s possible to find a quiet Room at this Hotel. It felt like completely unacceptable treatment.
