    It was a new and clean Accommodation.

    As it is newly built, everything was new and clean, including the Room. It was raining heavily when we arrived and my carry-on suitcase got quite wet, but a staff member wiped it down for us. Since it’s a bit of a walk from the station, it was a little tough in heavy rain. When entering the building, you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe locker, but since they go in while still wet, they hadn’t dried by morning. I later found out that disposable slippers are also available in the Room; I would have appreciated being asked or informed at check-in.

    Clean and satisfying.

    Overall, I was very satisfied. We stayed in a triple room, which was spacious enough, and we were able to get a discount coupon for a recommended nearby restaurant, so we could enjoy local Fukui cuisine. The bath and the breakfast venue felt a little small for the number of guests, but otherwise everything was satisfactory. Kitanosho Castle, a local sightseeing spot, is also within walking distance, which made us very happy.

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed here for my first trip alone with my elementary school-aged son. It was affordable, clean, and comfortable. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay here again next time with my whole family.

    We were very satisfied, as we could relax in the Onsen and enjoy our meals at a leisurely pace.

    This was my first time staying here. The building was clean, and since shoes are not allowed inside the property, it was very comfortable. Since this is Nono, I would have liked the breakfast to be more distinct from Dormy Inn.

    Nothing beats an Onsen.

    It was a relatively new Hotel, and it felt clean and well maintained. This was my second stay at Onyado Nono, following my visit in Yonago. Since guests leave their shoes and the corridors are tatami-matted, I appreciated that you wiped the suitcase wheels for us. The Onsen was excellent, the ReFa shower head was easy to use, and the sauna facilities were also very good. However, although it is only about a 5-minute walk from Fukui Station, pulling a wheeled suitcase along the way may be a bit difficult for older guests.

    The bathing etiquette was disappointing.

    I was completely satisfied with the Facility and have no complaints. The late-night ramen served in the evening was delicious, and breakfast was also great. The only things that concerned me were that the pillow was quite firm, and my husband mentioned that a guest with full-body tattoos entered the men’s bath. It wasn’t a small one-point tattoo, but full-body tattoos. There was apparently a notice asking such guests to refrain, but I believe it is the staff’s responsibility to address those who ignore it.

    As expected from Nono.

    The building is still quite new, and everything was spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. At Habutae Saryo, it was great to have a selection of alcoholic drinks, light snacks, and soft drinks. On the evening of our second night we were a bit tired and didn’t feel like going out for dinner, but we were able to have a light bite at Habutae Saryo, relax for a while, and then finish with the late-night soba—very helpful. The snacks were also high quality. I hope other Nono properties will offer similar restaurant service as well. If I had to mention one thing, the washing area in the large public bath seemed limited, so it often felt crowded.

    Taking off our shoes...

    Taking off our shoes at the Hotel entrance and being able to stay in the Room without slippers was very relaxing. I also liked that, even though it had beds, the floor was tatami. I hope more Hotels like this become available.
