  APA Quality!

  The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bathroom felt smaller than I expected. There was a noticeable difference between the crowding information and what it was actually like. Overall, I’m satisfied!

  Thank you very much for staying at APA Hotel <Tottori-Ekimae>. As you pointed out, our large public bath is designed in proportion to the number of guest rooms, so it is not particularly spacious. We sincerely apologize. In general, it becomes increasingly crowded after the evening hours, so if you would like to use it at a more relaxed pace, we recommend visiting earlier.   The Facility was new and comfortable.

  We stayed as a couple on a trip for two. Since it was right in front of the station, we went to an izakaya for dinner. The large public bath was almost private, and because we had a connecting room, our stay was stress-free. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including local specialties. The Facility was also new, so we were able to enjoy a very comfortable stay.

  Concerns About the Large Public Bath

  The Facility was very clean and nice. However, there was a young woman using her smartphone in the locker room where you change for the large public bath, which made me worry about possible hidden filming. There was a notice on the wall saying smartphone use is prohibited, but I would like it to be posted in a more visible place, such as on each locker door. She was using her phone while using the hair dryer.

  Thank you very much for staying at APA Hotel <Tottori-Ekimae>. However, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced despite choosing our Hotel from among the many Hotels in Tottori. As you pointed out, the use of smartphones in the large public bath is prohibited. We will take measures such as increasing patrols to prevent this from happening again. Lastly, our Facility is a relatively new APA Hotel that opened in October last year. When you visit Hiroshima again, we would be delighted if you stayed with us.   Disappointing hospitality.

  The Facility and Room were clean and very convenient. I also appreciated that the Room was bright, since many Hotels have dim lighting. However, I was disappointed with the front desk service. They seemed to have limited knowledge and looked things up on their phone whenever I asked a question. There was little sense of local pride or familiarity with the area around Tottori Station, such as how to get to sightseeing spots, and they focused mainly on explaining how to use the Hotel conveniently. It felt like a place just for staying overnight, which was disappointing. Is that simply what a Business Hotel is like?
