    I love it.

    We stayed as a family and chose the loft-style room, and the area with the table was spacious, so we were able to spend our time comfortably. The location was also great, and we would like to stay again.

    A cozy and comfortable space

    The atmosphere throughout the property was wonderful, and the Room was very clean. The loungewear and Room slippers were also cute, and on top of that, it was close to both Chinatown and the station—so I was very satisfied!! The staff were also very courteous!! One concern was that the air in the Room felt a bit thin, but I couldn’t open the window even though I wanted to. I ended up leaving the door open when no one was passing by. I was happy there was a mist sauna available, but I was told to bring towels from the Room. Since I had already used the shower in my Room, I brought a towel that was only half-dry. After using it for a shower following the mist sauna, I returned to my Room and washed my hair again because I had sweated, so I ended up using an even wetter towel. I would appreciate it if fresh towels could be provided. Next time, I’d like to purchase those Room slippers! Thank you!

    We had a wonderful stay.

    We stayed at THE HOUSE as an entire-home rental. The private bar felt mostly decorative and wasn’t set up for practical use. Having dish soap, a sponge, dishcloths, a wiping cloth, cutlery, plates, and a knife for cutting fruit would have made the stay more satisfying. Since there is an electric kettle, we would have appreciated drip coffee and tea bags as well. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. We booked mainly to use the sauna, but the power turned off at night so we couldn’t use it when we wanted. Even though it’s right in the middle of Chinatown, it was quiet and relaxing. There are a few things that could be improved, but overall we had a fun stay and were satisfied!

    A Modern Urban Chinoiserie Hotel

    This was a very modern and comfortable Hotel, close to the station and located right in Chinatown. The service felt compact but more than sufficient. There were no excessive facilities or services (a large public bath, lobby space, views, room service, tea other than the in-room mineral water, skincare-type amenities, etc.), but everything we wanted was available: a later check-in time, accommodation for groups of four or more, luggage storage after check-out, a spacious bathtub separate from the toilet area, a cafe lounge where you can get light meals until late, guest rooms without any sense of crampedness or noise issues, and overall cleanliness. We had a very comfortable stay. The mist sauna that’s one of the highlights was wonderful—so relaxing. I’d honestly come back just for that. However, perhaps because it’s popular, it was hard to book the sauna if your time at the Hotel is tight. It was also a bit disappointing that this wasn’t mentioned at the time of Reservation. Without a Multiple Night Stay, we wouldn’t have been able to use it. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy with it (the tea was great too), but if you have a Multiple Night Stay please note that the menu is simple and feels mostly the same each day. (It was so good I didn’t mind at all.) It was also disappointing that kids could no longer choose their toy from the children’s menu (they seemed to be looking forward to it). Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. We’d like to stay here again when visiting Yokohama. Thank you!

    An Essential Hotel for Your Yokohama Trip

    This was my second stay. This time I chose a Room without a loft, unlike last time, but the interior was still wonderful. With features like partitions and stylish lighting, the atmosphere was completely different, yet I was able to relax and feel at ease. What made me especially happy was that NOWHAW loungewear— which I couldn’t wear last time—was provided this time, so I finally got to try it. I fully enjoyed the guest-only sauna, then with my body refreshed after a good sweat, I had delicious craft beer and wine in the lounge and spent a lovely evening. This stay reminded me once again that what matters most in a Hotel is the people. From check-in to stopping by the front desk and checking out, the staff’s kindness and thoughtful words made me feel truly welcomed—and glad I stayed here. It’s a Hotel that makes you want to say, “I’m home.”

    The location was great.

    The location was perfect for sightseeing in Yokohama. As it’s new, it was very clean and spotless, so I had a comfortable stay. The bunk bed setup felt like a secret hideout, which was really fun.

    A casual Hotel located in Chinatown

    The service is just right, and the pricing is reasonable. It feels like there are many young staff members, and it’s nice that their attire isn’t overly formal. I also appreciate the greenery around the Hotel entrance. The Room is spacious and clean—nothing to complain about. The only drawback is the limited variety at breakfast. Since it’s focused on Chinese cuisine, that may be a plus or minus depending on preference. For a Multiple Night Stay, I think it would be nice to have more standard menu options.

    This time, we stayed...

    This time, we stayed at THE HOUSE (last time we stayed in the Hotel building). The overall atmosphere was great, and the kids really enjoyed activities like table tennis, so we had a wonderful time. On the other hand, there were a few points that concerned us. First, since there is only one key and the Accommodation is three stories (with the living room on the second floor), it felt a bit inconvenient—for example, when family members split up, someone has to go down to the first floor each time to lock up. Regarding the sauna as well: we have stayed at various sauna-focused places with private saunas before, and noticed several areas for improvement here. There is no hourglass timer or clock in the sauna room, making it hard to keep track of time; there is not much water available for hydration (it’s better to bring your own); there are no relaxation chairs; and the door handle gets hot and is difficult to use. We feel that improvements to these Facilities and better provisions for comfort would make it more enjoyable. In terms of amenities, despite being sauna-focused, there were not enough towels; there was no tissue in the first-floor washroom or in the third-floor bedroom; and there was nothing near the bar counter sink for wiping things down. Also, while spa sandals are provided, they are not ideal for going up and down stairs—indoor slippers would feel safer. The route from the third floor to the toilet late at night also felt a bit challenging. Since there is no TV in the third-floor bedroom, lending items such as a projector would make it even more comfortable. The pajama sizes also felt slightly small. These are just personal impressions, but I believe that addressing these small details would lead to an even more satisfying stay. As this was our second visit—and we would love to come again next time—we look forward to future improvements.

    Definitely coming back!

    I love Chinatown and Yokohama and regularly stay overnight when I visit, and this Hotel was wonderfully relaxing despite being in the middle of the city bustle—I’d definitely like to cook again next time. The Room was spacious and easy to use, and the cozy bed was very comfortable. Above all, the mist sauna Facility was excellent. All of the staff were also very pleasant. It’s also appealing that you can use it in many ways—dropping by solo or gathering friends and reserving a separate building for private use—and I’ve found another favorite Hotel in Yokohama.

    The design is nice, but there are many inconveniences.

    The Hong Kong–style Room was cute, and the bed was a comfortable size, which was nice. However, it was inconvenient in some ways: the trash bin was small, the faucet at the sink was poorly positioned so water splashed everywhere easily, and I tripped over a subtle step in the Room. Basic skincare amenities were provided for free, but only one set was given, so there wasn’t any for the morning. I would have liked at least two sets. This is a Hotel you can enjoy if you’re looking for stylish design. The location is also excellent. But it wasn’t a Hotel where you can expect much comfort in the small details.

    Going forward...

    Stayed with my grandchildren during their visit home to celebrate their elementary school graduation. The Room was spacious, and they were thrilled with the bunk beds they had been dreaming of. The bathroom was comfortable, but even though it didn’t seem particularly busy at the time of our Reservation, we waited about 30 minutes for breakfast to be served. Perhaps the staff are still getting used to things, or maybe it was due to the menu being tailored to Chinatown—either way, including the kids’ menu options, I’m hoping for improvements in the future.

    Exotic-style interiors and a soothing sauna!

    On the last day of a three-day weekend, Chinatown was incredibly crowded, but once we stepped into the Hotel, the bustle immediately felt far away. The front desk is compact, but it was convenient to prepare for check-in online in advance. The Room had two wide beds, so even two people could sleep comfortably. The open clothing rack matched the interior despite having no doors; it was functional and had shelves, making it easy to unpack even with bulky winter gear. Seeing laundry hanging at the apartment building across the street didn’t feel disappointing—combined with the interior design, it reminded me of Shanghai and Hong Kong. The table was also a bit larger than expected, so three of us could comfortably play a game we brought. The bathroom had a separate washing area and calm colors, making it very practical. In the vanity area and toilet, opening the blind let in natural light, which felt great. The shampoo made my hair feel squeaky, so if that bothers you, bringing your own conditioner might be best. The sauna we were looking forward to had three rooms: a changing area; two showers side by side; and across from them a spacious moist sauna with gravel spread over the floor. There were no chairs, so we just lay down. Since the door wasn’t push-to-open from inside (as far as I could tell), I was worried about getting trapped and used it with the door slightly ajar by a few millimeters. Everything was kept very clean, and our family of three warmed up thoroughly. Because there are sauna outfits provided, taking turns using the shower meant even our teenage daughter and her dad could enjoy it together—making it a precious memory! We did see a few tiny flying insects near the entrance as mentioned in some Reviews, but inside our private room they didn’t bother us at all. Soundproofing doesn’t seem great: we could hear what sounded like a group of young women on our floor making noise with music all night and somehow running down the hallway too, which was disappointing. Other than that though, this Facility was stylish and clearly designed with usability in mind—it was truly excellent. Due to my shrimp allergy we couldn’t add breakfast, but the lounge atmosphere looked nice as well. A wonderful Hotel with great value for money—we’d definitely like to stay again.

    It was really great.

    I loved how the modern Chinese atmosphere was incorporated throughout the Hotel. I could really feel the creators’ attention to detail. It was my first time trying a low-temperature mist sauna, and it felt relaxing with a nice sense of privacy. I’d love to stay again. The only minor things I noticed were the smell of the duvet and a bit of outside light leaking in through the window roller blind.

    Stylish and convenient

    It was a more stylish Hotel than I expected. From the entrance to the Room, lounge, and sauna, everything had a cohesive, chic atmosphere that really lifted my mood. The location was very convenient, with easy access to Yokohama’s major sightseeing spots such as the waterfront area, Chinatown, and the Yamate neighborhood. The staff were also kind and energetic, which left a great impression. The Room had a sophisticated feel and was spacious, with a comfortable queen-size bed that was great for sleeping. The bathtub was large enough to stretch out and relax in comfortably, making it very pleasant overall. The sauna was also stylishly designed, and I loved the cold-brewed tea in the relaxation area—it was delicious. Overall it was excellent, but there were no drinks such as tea or coffee provided, so if you’d like them it’s best to bring your own in advance to avoid having to run out to a convenience store. A wonderful Hotel where you can relax in a stylish space—one I’d definitely like to visit again.

    Convenient and comfortable

    Given the location, I expected some noise, but it didn’t bother me and I was able to relax. I’d like to stay again. What I liked - Above all, the location. Not only are there plenty of dining options, but takeout doesn’t get cold. A supermarket and convenience stores are close by, as well as a Minatomirai Line station and bus stops. - A large dining table, which was very convenient. - Smart TV What could be improved - Probably unavoidable given the size of the property, but there is only one small elevator and it gets crowded. - The front desk is right next to the elevator, so when guests overlap there’s no place to wait.

    A Hotel Blending into Chinatown

    We stayed to celebrate our 1.5-year anniversary together. Both my partner and I love Yokohama, so we’ve often stayed there for milestones or events. This time, we found the newly opened TRAN.SCENDER HOTEL Yokohama (opened about two weeks ago) and immediately made a reservation. Upon arrival, the hotel’s exterior gave a chic impression—subtle yet elegant—and at night, the neon lights at the entrance blended beautifully with Chinatown's atmosphere. The room’s layout and interior design were very calming, allowing us to relax fully during our stay. The sauna exclusive to guests was a unique blend of sauna and stone spa style, which helped relieve fatigue and detoxify thoroughly; afterward, an evening stroll and drinks felt absolutely amazing! We were very satisfied with both the room and staff service, making it a wonderful way to celebrate our 1.5-year anniversary. Although minor points that didn’t significantly affect our experience: when entering the room after check-in, someone painting on the terrace startled us; I had expected original loungewear as seen on Instagram but found standard ones instead; there was no in-room phone (only one near the elevator); despite having a spacious room, only one box of tissues was provided. These small inconveniences didn’t detract from how fantastic everything else was—I can’t wait to stay again soon! Lastly, thank you for your kind words during checkout—it made for such a lovely start to our day!
