    A perfect base for exploring Toyama City!

    Just steps from the tram stop—perfect as a base for exploring the city! Toyama Castle is also nearby, making it ideal for an evening stroll. Don’t miss the breakfast—highly recommended! The local Toyama ingredients and dishes are delicious. You might end up eating too much.

    Your First Trip to Toyama

    On my first trip to Toyama, I stayed at this Hotel. The best part was the breakfast! I enjoyed Toyama specialties from the morning, including masu-zushi, and it made me love Toyama even more. The staff’s service with a smile was wonderful, and everything was spotless—the guest room and even the hallways were very clean. Next time I want to visit the Alpine Route, so I’d like to stay here again.

    It was very convenient being close to the conference venue.

    It was about a 10-minute walk from the conference venue, which was very helpful. There was also a train station right near the Hotel, making it convenient to get to Toyama Station. I usually have a Western-style buffet breakfast, but the Japanese breakfast here was delicious, and I really enjoyed Toyama specialties such as sashimi and firefly squid okizuke. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

    Breakfast is excellent, just as the reviews say.

    Used on my first trip to Toyama. As other reviews say, the breakfast buffet is top-class and I was very satisfied. Although there are parking spaces on the first floor of the Hotel, they are not affiliated parking; instead, we were directed to a very narrow space in an old parking garage across the street for 1,000 yen. There are also nearby surface lots where you can park a bit cheaper, which may feel safer and more reassuring.

    It was great.

    It isn’t near Toyama Station, but it’s close to a streetcar stop, so it wasn’t too inconvenient. The welcome drink was appreciated. The Hotel felt new, clean, and bright, which was nice. There is parking directly underneath, but the affiliated parking is elsewhere, so please be careful.

    A clean Hotel where you can enjoy a comfortable stay.

    I often travel to Toyama for work, and this was my first time staying at this Hotel, but it may have been renovated—I had a very comfortable stay. I was also surprised at how affordable it was. The only downside was the multi-story parking garage across the street where you can park for 1,000 yen; it felt old and the entrance seemed narrow, but since the Hotel was great overall, I’m satisfied. I’ll stay here again next time.

    The breakfast was very delicious. One thing I noticed at breakfast was that the milk was served in paper cartons, and I was concerned that people’s hands might touch the drinking spout when opening it. I would prefer the milk to be served in a container. I also prefer soft pillows, but when I asked the front desk, they didn’t have any. It would be great if soft pillows were available.

    First time staying with us

    This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious, beautifully renovated, and had a great layout. The front desk staff were also very courteous, so I had a comfortable stay. The disappointing points were that the front desk drink service is closed in the morning, and there is no tea option to begin with. It may seem minor, but it matters quite a bit. If there are no free drinks in the morning, I would like coffee drip bags and tea to be provided in the Room. Also, while the affiliated parking lot allows unlimited entry and exit and is convenient to use, it is very run-down and not suited to the width of modern cars. It was quite stressful.

    The breakfast buffet is excellent!

    I stayed for two nights while sightseeing in Toyama. It’s about an 18-minute walk from Toyama Station, so it’s a bit far, but the tram stop is right in front of the property, making access fairly convenient. The Glass Art Museum and Toyama Castle are within walking distance. There are also many great izakayas around the Hotel, so it’s a convenient place to stay for sightseeing. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, but the bathroom is an older unit bath and feels a bit dated. Housekeeping isn’t provided during a two-night stay, but they do collect trash and replace towels. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including Toyama specialties, and was very satisfying!

    Local shops frequented by residents are within walking distance.

    This was my second stay. The service is excellent for the price, and this is my go-to Accommodation in Toyama. I also appreciated the complimentary sake and coffee in the lounge, and it’s great that there are many local restaurants nearby that residents frequent. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying, with a wide variety of Toyama specialties such as fish, kelp, and kamaboko.

    Excellent Aspects for the Price

    I hesitated to post this as I personally don't want the hotel to become too crowded. When making the reservation, I was a bit worried because it was very affordable, but my concerns were completely unnecessary. Following everyone's reviews and choosing the breakfast option turned out to be a great decision. The value for money was excellent. The reason I decided to post for the first time is that there was one thing that caught my attention. When opening the welcome service sake bottle, it's inevitable that your hand touches the mouth of the bottle. Considering that many people use it, isn't this unhygienic? It would be appreciated if you could consider using something like a cap with a spout for improvement.

    Breakfast is excellent.

    First, the welcome drink of three types of Japanese sake was delightful. The breakfast was amazing! There were many dishes to enjoy the taste of Toyama, and the mapo tofu was incredibly delicious. The spice cookies were also tasty. Overall, very satisfying. What concerned me were: ① Cleaning issues (a receipt from a previous guest was found between the window and curtain, and there was hair on the bathroom floor that wasn’t my hair color), ② Amenities (there was lotion but no toner for some reason), ③ The coffee machine’s café latte didn’t seem to use milk. The Room was spacious and comfortable. It took about 20 minutes on foot from the station while pulling a suitcase, but it was perfect since I wanted to visit the nearby Glass Art Museum. I’d love to come back for the breakfast again.

    The service, amenities, and room were very pleasant. The location was convenient with the Glass Art Museum and Toyama Electric Railway station nearby. However, it was unfortunate that the affiliated parking lot was difficult to find.
