    We had a relaxing Multiple Night Stay for 2 nights.

    I found this Hotel while looking for a spacious Room with a mini-kitchen. “Annex” seems to mean it is an annex of the affiliated Tokyu Stay Karasuma Sanjo Hotel (30 meters away), and breakfast was the same, served at the traditional townhouse restaurant next to the Karasuma Sanjo Hotel. Most guests were Westerners, so it felt like being abroad, and the staff often spoke English. Because the annex has fewer Rooms and many are large, the elevator was rarely crowded and I could relax. In the lobby in the evening, there was a Kinshi Masamune sake tasting and a digital tea ceremony experience, where I could learn about tea ceremony (fee: 1,000 yen). The Room had a drum-type washer/dryer, a Haier microwave, and an excellent ReFa hair dryer that costs 40,000 yen. The bathroom also had an overhead rain shower, plus two sinks, which was very comfortable—but there wasn’t much storage space, so it was hard to find places to put things. There were no instructions on how to use some items either, so I had to figure them out while checking QR codes. The Room was new with great insulation, and I was surprised that you could barely hear any noise from the bathroom or from appliances like the washer/dryer or toilet. For breakfast you can choose one main dish from five options and take everything else buffet-style; I was happy that my main dish came out hot and freshly made.

    We had another wonderful stay!

    Thank you again for your hospitality. Just three stops from Kyoto Station and also close to Karasuma Oike, it’s convenient yet quiet and comfortable. There are complimentary drinks, and alcohol is available at certain times. I’d be even happier if there were some Kyoto-style tea as well! I’ll be back again!

    It wasn’t a good fit for me.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay for sightseeing. I think this Hotel is a good fit for people who want to do laundry in their Room and those who plan to eat all meals in the Room and make full use of the microwave. Otherwise, I don’t see much benefit. What was good: it’s new; the quality of the tea provided in the Room is good; and the samue-style loungewear is comfortable to wear. What was not good: perhaps because there is a washing machine, the Room is small—especially the sink area. There is no shelf where you can place small items. The bathtub being large is nice, but the water flow is weak so it takes time to fill, and it isn’t automatic filling. The bathroom floor is cold, and with a powerful ventilation fan it feels chilly. It says “the restaurant building is diagonally across from the Hotel,” but it’s actually several buildings away; since I didn’t want to go outside, choosing a breakfast-included Plan was pointless. The menu selection was limited and served cold; only having cut fruit was a plus. I can understand why there were only two or three groups of guests there. Both subway exits on the Hotel side (northbound and southbound) are stairs only. To use an elevator you need to cross the street, Exit 6 is inconvenient for transfers to other lines, and if you use the Tozai Line it’s at the opposite end—so please be careful. With simplified cleaning they only replace towels; they also offered full cleaning and said they could accommodate my preferred time. Since I planned to return around midday, I requested an early cleaning starting at 10:00. When I returned later than planned—after 13:30—the cleaning was still in progress. It was a hot day and I wanted to wash my face and rest with a cold drink, but instead I had no choice but to put what I’d bought into the refrigerator and go out again. When I told this at reception, their response (e.g., “Do you need towels?”) missed the point; that frustrated me more than anything else about housekeeping not being finished yet. I chose a central-area Hotel for a Multiple Night Stay so that I could come back during outings, but that ended up being meaningless.

    It was comfortable.

    Because there are not many Rooms, the elevator and the building were not crowded, which was nice. I felt the price was a little high, but the Room was very spacious. There is no daily housekeeping and services are limited, but the front desk staff were very kind. The housekeeping staff were not very pleasant. The location is convenient, so I would like to stay here again.

    We stayed for two nights. There were many international guests, but it was quiet at night. The room had a good selection of dishes, making it convenient to prepare simple meals, and the washing machine with a drying function was very helpful as laundry was done while we were out. Whenever there were any issues, they were promptly addressed by the staff, who were all very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was small in scale but delicious both days. **Points of Concern:** During breakfast on the second day, the lively conversations among staff members could be heard clearly, which was slightly distracting. Having dishes in the room was very convenient; however, there wasn’t anything provided to wash them with. Since items like detergent or kitchen paper weren’t available and replacements weren’t provided during multiple night stays, I had to rinse them quickly and use towels or tissues from the bathroom as substitutes. It would be great if such items could be included for convenience during longer stays. While towel replacement service helped when requested by placing a sign outside our door, returning to our room around 10 AM resulted in being told that cleaning/replacement work had just started so we couldn’t enter yet—this required us to go back downstairs temporarily. For multiple night stays especially, it might be better if cleaning/replacement times could either accommodate later hours or offer more flexibility. Overall though—it truly turned out an excellent stay! Thank you so much!

    Excellent

    The Hotel itself, its Facility, the demeanor of the staff, their hospitality—everything was exceptional. Usually, after any trip, I focus on returning home to prepare for the upcoming week or work. However, at the end of this trip, all I could think was "I don't want to leave," and it might have been because of the charm this Hotel holds. Thank you very much.

    A very comfortable and lovely Hotel.

    A very comfortable and wonderful hotel. Unlike typical apartment-style accommodations with a microwave, washer-dryer, and mini kitchen in the room, this hotel retains its hotel-like atmosphere while allowing for long-term stays.

    A very comfortable and wonderful hotel. I have stayed here three times already. They were very accommodating with sudden changes in the number of guests and room adjustments for Multiple Night Stays.

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed with my daughter and grandson. The kitchen and washer-dryer are very convenient. This was my second stay, and I would love to stay again.
