    A recommended Hotel for fans of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and ES CON Field.

    I think this is a fun Hotel for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters fans to stay at. Since I support a different team, I just found the exhibits—like the Es Con Field seats and the numbers used on uniforms—interesting in a “oh, I see” kind of way. I’d also dreamed of staying at the Hotel inside Es Con Field, but it might feel similar. The service was questionable; it felt like there were hardly any staff. The Room was unnecessarily large, with just a bed sitting alone plus a chair and table. Nightwear is not provided in the guest Room—you have to bring it up yourself. The pre-check-in emails were persistent and annoying. I got an error when linking with Suica and couldn’t use it in the end. In Hokkaido, Suica often isn’t accepted anyway, so pushing Suica at this point is extremely inconvenient. On a related note, I still haven’t forgotten that it didn’t work on the early buses to Es Con Field. That said, the shower water pressure is incredibly strong, so I recommend it for anyone who prioritizes water pressure.

    Huh!?

    This was an Accommodation I’d been looking forward to! We all walked back from ES CON, and since it was cold we thought we’d warm up in the sauna—only to find out it costs extra. And it’s JPY 3,300 per person! With no bathtub in the Room (shower only), that felt unreasonable. The Room is also small, so it made me wonder if this Hotel is only meant for watching baseball games. For the sake of your Hotel going forward, you may want to reconsider the sauna pricing—though I know it’s none of my business.

    It was a clean Hotel.

    My daughter and I stayed for two nights. Perhaps because we chose the best-value Room, it felt a bit small.

    Breakfast

    I stayed for two nights to watch my first Fighters game. I had high expectations based on the good reviews, but a few things were disappointing. (1) I parked at the Tonarie parking lot next door, but there were no clear signs showing the route to the Hotel, and since it was at night I got lost. Maybe I missed something, but normally there are large arrows clearly indicating “Hotel Front Desk,” etc. (2) I went to breakfast around 8:00 a.m., and there was a very long line. Even considering Golden Week, given the high price, a 30-minute wait is unacceptable. Measures such as time-slot reservations may be necessary. Also, I was told that our whole family had to be present before we could enter—this was my first time experiencing that. (3) Although this was a Multiple Night Stay, the breakfast menu was exactly the same every day. It wasn’t that it tasted bad, but there didn’t seem to be any consideration for guests staying multiple nights in terms of menu variety. (4) There is no phone in the guest room, which makes it inconvenient to ask quick questions. The front desk service and the room left a good impression overall, so if these points are improved, I would like to stay again.

    It was disappointing, especially because I had high expectations...

    I stayed in a Fighters Floor Room to watch a preseason game at ES CON Field. Although the weather was terrible with a blizzard, the convenient access made getting around much easier, and I was also grateful to be able to stay at a reasonable price for the season. The Tonarie dining floor was more substantial than I expected, and it was nice to have an environment where I could enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace without having to eat at the stadium. The Hotel interior and my Room were clean, and as a Fighters fan, it was a pleasant surprise to see team-themed displays and small items showcased throughout. On the other hand, in-Room amenities are kept to a minimum, and the lighting is quite dim, which may feel inconvenient for some guests. Also, amenities are picked up from shelves near the Hotel front desk, but I felt it wasn’t very noticeable at first glance. I wish the staff on standby had offered a brief explanation. What troubled me most was arriving at the Hotel and being informed by signage that sleepwear would not be provided (due to vendor circumstances). I really wish this had been communicated in advance by email... Another issue was that the conditioner bottle in the Room’s shower booth had water pooled inside and had separated, making it unusable. Whether it hadn’t been used for a long time or it was tampered with by a previous guest... either way, I’d like them to conduct thorough checks of Facilities. Also, since there’s no basket in the changing area, there’s nowhere to put clothes except on top of the toilet lid—I'd appreciate improvement here as well. Because it’s a Hotel bearing the stadium’s name, my expectations were high, which made these disappointing experiences stand out even more strongly. I hope this becomes a Hotel loved for many years, and that next time I stay I’ll be able to give it an even better rating.

    High-quality breakfast.

    Excellent access from the station. The Room was also clean. I only found out after making the Reservation that there was no bathtub and only a shower, but the shower had plenty of water pressure, so it wasn’t an issue. What really stood out was the breakfast. I felt they put a lot of effort into both the menu and the presentation (how it’s displayed and served). There’s also a great sweets shop on the first floor... I also stopped by the supermarket next door and found some great fish. I wanted to buy some to take home.

    No umbrella needed

    It was very convenient and great. Close to the station, with convenience stores and dining options nearby—excellent.

    It was clean and conveniently located in front of the station.

    Due to a canceled flight caused by snow, I quickly booked this Hotel located near the station, roughly halfway between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo. The check-in and check-out process had a modern self-service feel. As a Business Hotel, it was simple yet comfortable. Being right in front of the station was incredibly convenient; even in the snow, taxis were available at the station, and there were some small shops nearby which were very helpful. The Hotel itself seemed new and was exceptionally clean, giving off the vibe of staying in a luxurious apartment.

    It was enjoyable.

    The Facility was very unique and interesting. The room key can be linked with Suica, allowing guest room information to be registered on Suica during check-in (also available with the Suica app on smartphones). From using the elevator to entering the guest room, everything can be completed with Suica on your smartphone, making it extremely convenient.

    It tends to be dry during winter.

    The Room is clean with no major issues. However, it gets very dry in winter. For someone sensitive to dryness, I wouldn't want to stay again. The Room only has a shower, which is inconvenient. There are no indoor clothes provided, so luggage might increase slightly. When it's crowded, the sound of doors closing can be noisy. It's great that you can reach the Hotel from the station without going outside. Having a FamilyMart on the 1st floor is convenient as well. However, when Tonarie is closed, there are entrance restrictions which can be troublesome. Being adjacent to Tonarie makes it easy to grab a drink quickly, which is nice. Kushidori being nearby is also a plus!
