    High guest satisfaction

    As the building is only two years old, both the interior and exterior are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was satisfying, and the staff service was also good. However, many guests monopolize the lockers, which suggests an issue with guest manners. I think clearer notices and reminders should be provided. This was seen among some Japanese guests as well, which is disappointing.

    The bed was too firm...

    The bed was too firm for me to sleep well. It would have been better if there were two pillows for a single bed. The bath was lukewarm, but I was able to relax. The breakfast area layout didn’t seem very good… it was divided in the middle, and it would have been nicer if it felt more spacious.

    This was my second stay, and I’m satisfied.

    In July, I had some free time and stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. The bed was spacious, and I slept very well. The large public bath was reasonably roomy, and the water temperature was perfect for me as someone who likes a hot bath. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., but it wasn’t crowded, and there was a wide variety of options—I ended up eating too much. While it’s located away from central Kyoto, I think it’s a wonderful Hotel for anyone looking to relax.

    Just right.

    A perfect stopover point for a long drive. New and clean. There’s also a bath, and they accommodated my requests. The staff provided just the right level of service. I wasn’t bothered by noise from neighboring rooms or outside. And it’s affordable. I stayed here on both the outbound and return legs of my trip home by car. It was great to be able to secure a parking space with a Reservation as well. For the return trip, I considered another Hotel, but choosing this one again was the right decision.

    Consistently reliable.

    I really love the bath. It’s very comfortable. It feels consistently calm and relaxing.

    It was completely different from the Review rating.

    There were many issues. More than the issues themselves, the way they were handled was the problem. I was surprised—this is the first time I’ve stayed at a Hotel that differed so much from its Review ratings.

    Unexpectedly…?!

    It was more convenient than expected, as JRA and Kyoto Station were quite close. However, on Sundays most restaurants are closed except for family-style chains, so it may not be ideal if you’re looking for good local food—please keep this in mind.

    As it’s a new Hotel,...

    As it’s a new Hotel, everything is clean. The Room was also clean, and having a table and chair made it easy to use. The TV is small. The bathroom is narrow, but I was happy that the bath and toilet are separate. The deodorizing spray smelled nice. One hanger got crushed when I hung clothes on it, my clothes fell off, and it was frustrating. I appreciated the drink service, but I’d like cold barley tea by now. There are almost no amenities, but I bring my own so it wasn’t an issue. A shower cap would be nice to have. The large public bath is small, but it wasn’t crowded when I used it so it was comfortable—if it gets busy, it might be tough. Breakfast was inexpensive, so I guess that’s what you’d expect... there wasn’t anything particularly tasty. The man at the breakfast venue greeted guests cheerfully, which felt pleasant. I’ve stayed at other Kyoto Plaza Hotels before; since this one is newer, it was more comfortable. For this price among Business Hotels, I think it’s very good value. I would stay again if I have the chance.

    About Parking

    The Room and facilities are very nice. However, depending on the Room, the neighboring business is a metal processing company, and it can be quite noisy. If you check in at night, it likely won’t be an issue. Regarding the parking lot, the website did not state the maximum available time or other details, and we almost had trouble when trying to extend our use in advance. Please clearly specify the available hours and any limits. It was a good Hotel overall, so this was disappointing. Breakfast offers a wide variety of items, including Kyoto-style pickles. I found it more delicious than at other places. Now that I understand how parking works, I would like to stay again.

    After staying at ano...

    After staying at another Hotel the previous night, my Room smelled strongly of cigarettes and made me feel unwell, so I ended up booking this Hotel at the last minute. I was extremely satisfied with my stay! At the first Hotel, I couldn’t wait to get out of the Room as soon as possible, but this Hotel was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave! The front desk staff assisted me politely with wonderful smiles throughout—I honestly wouldn’t have noticed they were trainees. I was also surprised when I opened the door to my Room: it was very clean! And (as expected since the entire property is non-smoking) there was absolutely no odor!!! I was so impressed that I kept happily talking to myself (“Yes… this is it… this is exactly what I wanted…”) while looking around. First of all, there was a deodorizing spray provided that can be used for both clothing and the Room—I could have cried. And then I sprayed everything: my belongings and even what I was wearing, just to get rid of even a trace of cigarette smell. Other amenities included a hair dryer, tri-fold mirror, desk light, various teas, and more—stylish and very clean. There was also a booklet summarizing sightseeing spots in Kyoto and Osaka, which really helped with sightseeing the next day! And the large public bath—so spacious! The shower area has partitions! Just enough privacy without any fuss—perfect! The bathtub is wide and long, and there’s also a clock near the entrance so you can keep track of time—amazing! The shampoo, conditioner, face wash/hand soap/shaving products were all from the same brand as those in the guest Rooms. And there were also toner and lotion in navy bottles… beyond stylish—almost divine? By the way, the hair dryer in the bath area was an even higher-grade model than in my Room. I dried my hair feeling genuinely grateful that I got to stay here. After bathing, we could enjoy ice cream and cold water with ice as well—it truly felt like every detail had been taken care of. I rested with such an incredibly happy feeling!!! Next time I visit Kyoto for sightseeing again, I will definitely stay at this Hotel. Thank you very much!

    I was able to stay at an affordable price.

    It was very helpful for staying the night before. It’s a straight walk from the station. Since it’s along a main road, it felt safe in a way. With the large public bath open until 1:00 a.m. and from 6:00 a.m., I was able to use it both at night and in the morning. I’ll stay again if I have the chance!

    I chose a Plan without breakfast, but it was very reasonably priced and also has a large public bath. As the Facility is still fairly new, it felt very clean, and the front desk staff were all extremely courteous. I was very satisfied with my choice and would like to stay again.

    A Trip for Two Seniors

    It’s a bit away from Kyoto Station, so I got slightly lost on the way, but it was a compact, clean, calm Hotel with great value for money. The complimentary ice cream after the bath was a nice touch.

    Recommended for families with children.

    We stayed with two adults and a 2-year-old, and the Moderate Twin room had a separate bath and toilet, which made it a great choice for families with children. Our child has egg and dairy allergies, and the allergen labels at breakfast were very helpful. We were also happy to find plenty of options that were safe to eat. The parking was convenient as well, and we’d like to stay again.

    The property is spotless, and the staff are wonderful.

    I called to ask about the Facility before making a Reservation, and the staff were polite and pleasant on the phone, so I booked through the website. When I entered the Room, I was surprised by how clean it was. Everything had been thoroughly cleaned, with none of the mold stains you often notice when soaking in a bathtub. It was clear that great care is taken with housekeeping. I didn’t use the large public bath, so this is an evaluation of the unit bath. The Room itself isn’t very spacious, but it feels clean, and for this price I’m satisfied. I’d definitely like to stay again. Their attitude toward welcoming guests and their hospitality are excellent.

    A very nice accommodation

    The large public bath, amenities, Room, cleanliness, and breakfast—everything was excellent at this Hotel. The building is also new and very clean. I travel often, but it has been a long time since I last saw Japanese staff at the front desk. The international staff at the breakfast venue were also friendly, and I was very satisfied. Please let me stay again.

    I was originally planning to check in late at night, but due to heavy snowfall (I live in the Kanto area), transportation within the prefecture was almost completely disrupted. I ended up arriving after midnight, but from the moment I contacted the property, they kindly guided me through everything. I’m also glad I called ahead to make a Reservation for parking. I didn’t have time to use the large public bath this time, so I’ll save it for my next visit. I’d love to stay here again when traveling to Kyoto.

    The front desk staff were excellent.

    The staff were wonderful at check-in, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay from the start. The nearest station feels quiet, and the bus only goes to Kyoto Station. When I asked the staff about getting to Fushimi Inari, they said, “A taxi is the fastest.” It’s convenient for visiting Fushimi’s sake breweries and the Uji area. The bath was spacious, and the washing area was also large. It would be nice if there were an open-air bath. The Hotel was new and very comfortable.

    The staff were wonderful, and I had a very pleasant stay. This was my first time having breakfast here, and both the quality and portion size were just right. The Room and Facility were also very clean—nothing to complain about. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

    I often saw your listing near the top when sorting by lowest price, and it caught my interest.

    Guest Rooms: The Facility is new, and the rooms are clean. The LED lighting is bright, and the beds are wide—nothing to complain about. Bath: It reminded me how great it is to have a large public bath. Breakfast: Good for the price. Location: About a 5–6 minute walk from Kintetsu Jujo Station. It didn’t bother me, but it might be tough in the rain. Shops: A convenience store is next door, and a supermarket is nearby—very convenient for shopping. - Access to central Kyoto can be a bit inconvenient due to the Jujo area, but I think that’s reflected in the Accommodation rate. - Overall, it was a stay where I really felt comfortable in the guest room.

    We chose this place because it has parking and a convenience store nearby.

    I stayed one night to attend a conference near Kyoto Station, driving from Hyogo Prefecture. Most Hotels around Kyoto Station don’t have parking, so after searching I chose this one. There’s a 7-Eleven right in front, which was very convenient. I was worried it might be noisy at night because the fire station is next door, but the soundproofing must be good—I slept well with no issues. The price was also affordable, so I have no complaints.

    I stayed one night to meet a friend who lives in Kyoto, and it was a wonderful stay with reasonable prices and a delicious breakfast. I’d love to visit again.

    An Accommodation you’ll want to return to.

    At Kyoto Station, the Kintetsu ticket gates are directly in front of the Shinkansen Central Gate, making access excellent. The Hotel is new, well maintained, and very clean and comfortable. Best of all, the large public bath was wonderful—the tub is spacious and there are plenty of washing stations (about eight?), all kept impeccably clean. The complimentary ice cream after bathing was a great touch. We’ll definitely stay again!

    I love it.

    Whenever I come near Kyoto, I stay here. It’s very relaxing. I especially love the baths. I thought it might have been a one-off, but one of the bath locker keys was missing. It’s disappointing that some people do that. If you have spare keys, I hope this can be improved. I’ll stay here again.

    A clean Room with a large public bath. Great value for money, but far from the station.

    The Hotel is new and clean. The Room isn’t large, but it’s clean; the large public bath also isn’t big, but it’s available. The meals were tasty for the price. Overall, it’s good value for money. Many of the staff are foreigners, but their service left a good impression. On a Multiple Night Stay, they don’t change the sheets; changing them costs extra… they say it’s for eco reasons, but it somehow feels like you’re losing out. It’s far to walk from the station to the Hotel—about 15 minutes… I couldn’t find a bus stop near the station… and there aren’t many buses. There’s no taxi stand in front of the station, and taxis don’t seem to pass by on that road either… so access is poor. If you don’t want to trudge through the cold, I recommend taking a taxi from somewhere you can actually catch one to the Hotel.

    For this price and location, it feels like a great deal! It’s new, so everything is clean. I also personally love the music in the large public bath—most places don’t have that. I’d like to stay here again.
