  As a stopover during your trip

  As expected from Route Inn, a reliable classic. I had a comfortable stay. At breakfast, all the staff spoke clearly and loudly, which felt great. At check-in, I was told, “Towels are provided in the room, so please refrain from taking them home,” which surprised me—but I guess some guests do that. There are all kinds of guests, but I hope you will continue to maintain Route Inn’s quality.

  Quite good.

  We arrived by car, parked at the Hotel, and walked five minutes to AEON to watch an evening movie and have dinner. The breakfast area was spacious and clean, with counter seats by the window (the view is only of the parking lot). The scrambled eggs were delicious. It was also great that we could watch YouTube as a guest. We will stay again.

  Winter Holiday Lake Biwa

  1) A 1.5-hour drive from Kansai International Airport, next to Aeon Mall. 2) Relatively clean and new, with a natural hot spring. Plenty of parking spaces with no worries. 3) Pleasant and helpful staff. 4) No fresh fruit at breakfast! 5) Good value for money.

  Bath towels

  There are no towels in the large public bath, so guests need to bring them from their rooms, which was inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was reasonably tasty.

  Ideal for bikers or those on long road trips.

  Located about a 15-minute bus ride from Keihan Chushojima and a 3-minute walk. Close to a large AEON Mall and highway junction, the parking lot accommodates group buses and motorcycles. While it is away from the center of Kyoto, you can relax in the natural onsen large bath and sauna within the facility. The breakfast buffet was also of high quality. Conveniently located for both Osaka and Kyoto, it has become one of my new accommodation options.

  Great value for money

  I used this place for an event. It was clean, the service was excellent, and I had a comfortable stay. The large public bath is an Onsen, leaving my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I would like to use it again if I have the chance.

  Clean Hotel

  The room and facility were very clean as it is newly built. The natural Onsen large bath was very relaxing. We used it after the Uji River cormorant fishing tour. It was very convenient, taking only 15 minutes by car from Uji via local roads.
