    Superior Double Room

    I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I also stayed on June 26 with a breakfast-included Plan, but it ended up being No Meals Included; this time it was ¥4,000 cheaper than then. The Room had a separate bath and toilet. I checked in at 3:00 PM and was able to relax until 10:30 AM. Since I knew the area from my previous stay, I had breakfast at Akita Citizens’ Market and then headed to my next destination.

    Be honest

    The bath is excellent.

    Whenever I’m on a business trip to Akita, I always stay here. The bath is excellent, and the Hotel is clean and very comfortable. Borrowing items such as an iron is smooth and really helpful. However, since everything is handled by machines even after arriving at the Hotel, there’s hardly any interaction with the staff, which feels a bit lonely to me.

    It was a new and pleasant Hotel.

    I didn’t have time to use the Onsen, so I can’t comment on it. However, the Hotel was very clean overall, and I was highly satisfied with the Facility, room, and amenities. The location is also excellent.

    About the Hotel.

    The Facility was new, and the large public bath and sauna were available, so I was very satisfied. Thank you very much. However, since the parking lot is a tower parking system, it can take time to retrieve or park your car depending on the time of day, which was a drawback.

    Thank you for your assistance with the Reservation.

    After booking a one-night stay, I added an extra night for a Multiple Night Stay. Since it was the same Room type, I received an email saying they had arranged it so I could stay multiple nights in the same Room! I was so happy—I thought changing Rooms might be unavoidable, so this really helped. Still, the price difference between one Saturday night with breakfast and one Sunday night with No Meals Included was huge. I enjoyed a great deal. Yes.

    An otherwise flawless stay, except for the bath card information!

    Everything I care about during a stay was great—the view from the Room, the cleanliness, strong shower water pressure, curved curtain rail, drip coffee, mugs and glasses, separate loungewear, a powerful hair dryer, and multi charging cables. The only issue was the guidance about the women’s bath access card. It was indeed written on the elevator notice and on the receipt from the self check-in machine, but I didn’t notice it. I checked in early and headed for a quick bath after changing—only to find it wasn’t allowed. You need to request it at the front desk, but going to the front desk in loungewear is not allowed… and I didn’t feel like changing again. So I used the shower in my Room instead and went out. Yes—it was my fault for not reading carefully. For those staying here in the future: please be aware of this.

    The hardware is new, but

    The guest room was brand new, so I had a pleasant stay. However, the large public bath smelled of ammonia, and there was a lot of hair on the changing-room floor, so it didn’t feel properly cleaned. I was glad there were massage chairs, but they were very dirty. The breakfast area is small and the tables are too close together, so it’s hard to relax—it feels almost like sharing a table. For the price of breakfast, the quality was poor. I think it would be better to improve the quality even if that means offering fewer items. This was my first time having such a disappointing breakfast. I visit Akita regularly, so I hope things will improve.

    The bath is amazing.

    It’s a relatively new Hotel, and everything was very clean overall. The bath facilities were especially great—there’s a sauna, cold plunge, and an outdoor relaxation area, so you can enjoy the full experience. I used them both at night and in the morning. Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but it was satisfying enough. Having to bring the breakfast voucher is a bit inconvenient, so I’d like to see that improved.

    Highly satisfied

    The Facility and amenities were well provided, and the Room was very clean and wonderful. Breakfast was included, and it was very delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Value beyond business

    The Room was spacious and relaxing. In particular, the bathroom and toilet area was large, which was excellent. Also, many Hotels in northern Japan have centrally controlled air conditioning, but here it can be adjusted individually, so I stayed very comfortably. The pillow felt firm and high, so I used a bath towel as a substitute. Looking back, I wish I had called the front desk to request an extra towel.

    I will choose here from now on!

    The hotel features an Italian restaurant and a convenience store on the ground floor, making it convenient even in bad weather. You can also enjoy room service from the Italian restaurant, allowing you to dine in your room—a lifesaver when you're exhausted! While there is a large public bath, the private bathroom in your room is separate and comes with amenities like bath salts from Nyuto Hot Springs, letting you relax and stretch out comfortably. The only downside would be the slow elevators—there are three of them, but they take their time. Why? Even so, after trying various nearby hotels, I plan to keep coming back here for a while!

    Because it is new

    The new Hotel offers a well-equipped large public bath, and the Room was clean and pleasant. While the Hotel itself is not at fault, due to its newness, some tourist maps still show the location of the old Hotel, which caused some confusion during navigation.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    This was my first time staying here. During business trips to Akita, I always choose a Hotel with a large public bath. The Facility, customer service, and amenities were excellent; however, it was a bit disappointing that the much-anticipated public bath was slightly lukewarm. I appreciated the secure system in the changing room where slippers could be stored in lockers—truly impressive and reliable. (As a Daiwa House owner myself, I am well aware of their high quality.) I also used the Room's private bath, which had pleasantly hot water, so I was satisfied with that aspect. This is definitely a Hotel I'd like to visit again in the future!

    The service was very courteous.

    From Akita Station, I walked through a covered arcade and arrived almost completely dry even in the rain. The location was easy to find with a sign at the corner of the intersection and a 7-Eleven on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, and upon arrival, there was a large counter that could accommodate about three people at once, making check-in smooth with no waiting. The Hotel staff who assisted me provided very polite explanations in clear Japanese, giving me 100% peace of mind. My Room was upgraded, making my stay extremely comfortable. The highlight was definitely the large public bath! Its spaciousness, perfect water temperature, outdoor breeze chairs, and complimentary ice pops after bathing were absolutely fantastic. One concern was that the BGM from the hallway was distracting when trying to sleep. If only the breakfast bread were slightly better in taste—it would easily be worth five stars!

    I had a very comfortable stay.

    I enjoyed my stay at the newly opened Hotel near Akita Station, as I had previously liked the Daiwa Roynet Hotel near Yamagata Station. The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, making access easy. While it was not as bustling as Yamagata Station's area, it was easier to navigate by car and I arrived smoothly at the hotel. The parking lot was easy to find without any confusion. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming, allowing me to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious, featuring local Akita specialties such as Kiritanpo hot pot and Inaniwa udon, which made me very happy. When my mother accidentally dropped ketchup on the floor, a nearby male staff member kindly responded when we informed him of the spill by saying, "It's absolutely fine! More importantly, is your clothing okay?" His thoughtfulness in checking about her clothes left us feeling grateful for his care. Although Akita is far away and with winter approaching it may be difficult to visit again soon due to snow season, I would love to return in the future. Thank you very much for your hospitality during our stay!

    We had a highly satisfying stay.

    Stayed after the Omagari Fireworks Festival. Close to the station, clean, and equipped with all necessary facilities. Above all, it was very quiet with no noise or voices heard. Checked in early, relaxed in the room before heading out, and despite staying only one night, it felt as comfortable as if I had stayed for several days. The front desk staff were polite and made me feel reassured in case of any issues. I trust the Daiwa Roynet Hotel brand and look forward to staying at other locations in the future.

    Stayed here for the first time.

    It was my first stay in Akita, and after considering where to stay, I decided on Daiwa Roynet Hotel Akita Ekimae as it matched my conditions. I was looking forward to it because it's a new hotel and the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Group has a good reputation. The actual experience lived up to its reputation as an excellent hotel. Based on my research, this Daiwa Roynet Hotel is unique for having a large public bath, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was delicious, though I felt it could have included a few more options. It was nice that they offered Akita specialties like Kiritanpo and Inaniwa Udon. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were also very accommodating.

    It was a comfortable stay!

    Stayed for 2 nights during a business and golf trip. The room was newly built and very comfortable, and both the large public bath and the private bathroom were pleasant. I plan to stay here again on my next business trip to Akita.

    For Travel Use

    I stayed during my trip. I occasionally used Daiwa Roynet Hotel for business trips due to its convenient location and clean rooms. When considering where to stay for a special moment during my journey, I chose this hotel as it had recently opened. Once again, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

    New and clean Business Hotel

    It takes about 5 minutes on foot from the station, though the exact starting point at the station may vary. The convenience store on the first floor of the Hotel is very handy. The self-check-in machine makes check-in and check-out smooth. The Room was clean and spacious, but it had a small window with limited views, so it lacked a sense of openness. The bathroom with a washing area is integrated with the toilet and sink separated by a glass door, which might not be ideal for twin use. The large public bath has plenty of lockers and washing areas, along with a sauna, cold bath, and an outdoor relaxation space (no open-air bath). Overall, it's a new and clean Business Hotel with minimal complaints—very comfortable to stay in.

    It was comfortable.

    The morning sauna was excellent. It's nice to be able to check the congestion status of the bathhouse from the room. What concerned me, as mentioned in other reviews, is that the wait time for the elevator in the morning is extremely long. Given the large number of rooms, it might be unavoidable due to cleaning operations, but during peak times when people are moving to morning baths and breakfast venues or checking out, please operate at full capacity. I also had a long wait just to move down to 1F after checkout, so it would be great if at least there were open stairs from 2F to 1F.

    I stayed the day aft...

    I stayed the day after the opening. The strong water pressure in the shower was great. The towels were new and fluffy, but I was concerned that towel fibers stuck to my body when drying off. The bath additive being "Nyuto Onsen" felt very Akita-like, and I hope they continue this in the future.
