    Affordable and comfortable

    I stayed here several times back when it was the Mitsui Garden Hotel, but after COVID the room rates had risen quite a bit, which made it a tough choice. Now that it has been reborn as the Royal Pines Hotel, the rates are more reasonable. The Facility and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent. The breakfast buffet was also very impressive. It seems like a great option not only for business trips but also for family travel. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Chiba.

    A clean, relaxing Hotel

    This was my first stay. The hotel was very clean, and above all, the breakfast buffet was extensive, with both Western and Japanese options. I was able to relax and would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    There is a smoking room, but it closes at a set time, so I would like it to stay open a bit longer. Otherwise, the service was courteous.

    Excellent

    Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but the Room was spacious, the view was excellent, and it was a wonderful Hotel. I would love to stay at this Hotel again if I visit Chiba!

    I had a Multiple Nig...

    I had a Multiple Night Stay. The front desk staff were very polite and accommodating, which was great. It was nice that the room was cleaned daily, but there was always one spot missed each time, so I felt it would be good to double-check.

    Great!

    I chose this Hotel for its convenience to Chiba Station. The Hotel has recently rebranded and opened, with a park right in front where a festival was taking place. Although the bathroom mirror felt slightly dated at the edges, everything was very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, kindly assisting me when I needed to change my plans. A male cleaning staff member (a foreigner) who helped with towel replacement was also pleasant, making my stay comfortable. When I called after check-out about possibly leaving something behind, a female staff member responded kindly and helped me greatly. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk from the station, so walking might be challenging in heavy rain if you have lots of luggage. Having a convenience store nearby was very handy. I would have preferred separate bath and toilet facilities, but it wasn’t a major issue for me.

    The front desk service was slightly disappointing.

    Stayed at the Royal Pines Hotel in Urawa at the end of the year, and was so impressed that I booked another accommodation from the same group. While not as spacious as Urawa, the room's size and comfort were more than satisfactory considering the price. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but still manageable on foot. There was a construction site nearby, but beyond it was a shrine where I could also pay my respects. The staff's service was quite standard; however, there were people waiting before check-in time without clear order or guidance, which made it awkward among guests. It would be reassuring if this could be better managed by front desk staff.

    It was a good stay.

    I was able to spend a relaxing time in the spacious Room. The check-in staff was very pleasant and cheerful, and they informed me that I could see Mt. Fuji from the Room, which I was able to find. It was convenient to have a microwave in the Room. Thank you for allowing us to use such a spacious Room at an affordable price. We will visit again. If I had to say, it was inconvenient that there was no place to hang towels in the bathroom, but it wasn't much of an issue. Thanks to the pleasant service at check-in, I had a peaceful stay throughout my visit; I'm grateful for that.

    Friendly front desk staff

    I was able to stay at the property very reasonably due to the opening anniversary. The water facilities were old, but the room was renovated and very clean. When I asked about local sightseeing during check-in, they kindly guided me. The next day, I left my bag and went to Chiba Port Tower and the Prefectural Museum of Art, but when I returned to pick up my bag, they remembered and asked if I had gone to Port Tower? It made me somehow happy. The breakfast was decent as well, with delicious fruits and pancakes.

    A hotel from the bubble era (in a good way)

    The atmosphere was nice and pleasant. This is not just about here, but there were moments when I felt that I wanted them to become professionals in a good way. It's nice to have someone present when entering the parking lot, but they don't remember which car came in. I was surprised because it was the first time I was called from two front desks. I would like them to decide who will handle it. I understand wanting to clean right after leaving the Room, but please don't place things right outside the Room.

    That aspect was not good. Other than that, it was average for a Business Hotel.
