    Excellent

I’ve stayed at several APA Hotels & Resorts, and I’m impressed every time by how wonderful the service is. The VOD includes recent movies (this time they already had the second part of *Wicked*!), the large public bath is spacious, clean, and relaxing, and the breakfast is luxurious and truly delicious. The Room is compact at 14 m², but because the bathroom area is efficiently designed, it feels more spacious than expected. Considering the reasonable price, I’m grateful for such a high level of service. Breakfast while enjoying the open view from the 40th floor was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The grilled fish was thick and perfectly tender, and even the broth served with their “beauty tofu” was delicious. There were so many great options—seafood rice bowls, clam ramen, smoked salmon, and more—that it was hard to choose, and it made me happy from the very start of the day. They also cleared plates promptly, which made everything feel comfortable. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

It’s wonderful that the Hotel is located right outside the bus terminal.

Well located and ideal for a Multiple Night Stay.

It was close to the terminal when coming by bus from the airport. Not only is the bus convenient, but the station is also nearby. With JR, the subway, Hanshin, and Kintetsu all close at hand, it’s easy to get anywhere. There are department stores, a movie theater, and plenty of restaurants nearby—overall a good Hotel for a relaxing stay. A few minor drawbacks: - The bathtub is small - Paper cups instead of glasses feel a bit disappointing - There is space under the bed for luggage, but that makes the bed too high That said, considering the great value for money, these may not even be worth deducting points for.

    I can’t sleep.

The spring in the middle of the bed seems to have weakened, and even though I wanted to sleep, it felt like sinking into quicksand. I tried avoiding that spot and sleeping on the edge of the bed, but it didn’t help. When I called the front desk, they told me to wait. I stayed awake expecting someone to come to my Room, but no one did. In the end, I told them not to bother anymore. I understand that a dent in the bed may not be noticed during housekeeping. I don’t want to stay at APA anymore. I can’t trust IKYU either.

    Except for meals.

When I used the restaurant on the 2nd floor, I felt that the food took far too long to be served. Perhaps because it is a bar menu, there seemed to be too many waiters and waitresses, and the service felt disorganized. The dishes that arrived seemed like frozen food, and the taste was disappointing. Although the Facility itself is impressive, I felt that the food and service did not match it, which was very disappointing. In addition, at check-in I was asked to install an app and there were other mix-ups as if they had mistaken me for someone else, which made me uncomfortable.

This was my first time staying here! At first, I didn’t have high expectations, but as soon as I entered, I felt a sense of excitement! Going straight up to the high floors and entering the Room, I thought, is this really a Business Hotel? It was completely different from what I imagined and exceeded my expectations. I was very satisfied! I will definitely stay here again!

    Room Reviews

I was surprised by the gap between the photos and the actual Room. It was too small to move around, and the bathroom was also cramped, making it unsuitable for two people. Even though it was a weekend, I was shocked by how small it was for that price for two people with No Meals Included. I realized the importance of checking Room size in advance next time.

The overall experience was fantastic, completely changing my previous impression of APA as just a business hotel.

The accommodation is ideally located right next to JR Namba, making it very convenient for visiting Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and the shopping streets near Takashimaya Department Store. Whether for shopping or dining, everything is easily accessible and enjoyable. The location allows you to leisurely explore and fully enjoy the area. It offers the best geographical advantage with reasonable accommodation costs. It will definitely be my top choice for a stay next time!

The property is new, the large public bath is spacious and spotless, and the staff were courteous and attentive.

A newly opened APA Hotel—since it’s a resort, it met my expectations. It was clean and stylishly designed. There were plenty of elevators, the lobby was spacious, and the staff were polite—overall a wonderful Hotel. The large public bath was also spacious and had a sauna, but I was concerned about some overseas guests’ manners. Many people got into the bath without washing first, and in the sauna some went straight into the cold bath without rinsing off their sweat in the shower, or headed to the locker Room without drying off. I wish there were easy-to-understand etiquette notes in each Room in multiple languages. It felt like they simply didn’t know the rules. I also thought having a slipper rack inside the lockers was a great idea. I did notice dirt building up in both corners of the hallway, but inside the Room was clean. What made me especially happy this time was the gentle tone of voice from the parking fee attendant, and their thoughtful service, such as offering me a chair—I really appreciated it. The person who gave directions also kindly explained how to get there, for which I’m grateful. I was able to head home feeling good.

    Spacious and Clean

Overall, I was satisfied. The hotel was clean, as it is relatively new. The single room had sufficient space. When leaving my luggage, there was only one staff member handling it, and a line had formed. It would be better if more staff were available to assist. The breakfast buffet could have included more Japanese-style options, but I enjoyed the meal and went back for seconds multiple times as it was delicious.

    For the price

Although it was during the busy season, this is purely a personal impression based on the price (2 nights, 63,000 yen, twin beds, No Meals Included). ■ Room is small It feels like two beds were placed in a single room. There’s no space to pass each other inside the room unless near the entrance or one person lies on the bed. ■ Low water pressure in the bath Tried several spots but both faucet and shower had low water pressure. Especially for faucets, only a trickle of hot water came out. Even though about half of the guests were using it at that time... Good points: The room had plenty of outlets for charging multiple devices at once; there was a 7-11 inside the Hotel; all staff members were kind and helpful; both sink and shower in-room had sufficient water pressure; and overall cleanliness of the room was excellent.

    Public Bath

I stayed for the first time to enjoy the large public bath. The bath was spacious with many tubs, so even during busy times, it didn’t feel uncomfortable and was very pleasant. However, I had two complaints. All the tubs were about the same temperature; having one or two lower-temperature tubs would have been better. Also, regarding towels: while I don’t mind bringing towels from the room to use in the bath, only one bath towel and one hand towel are provided. After using them in the bath, there are no dry towels left in the room for drying hands after washing them in the restroom. I hope this can be improved.

    Extremely popular

I had heard that hotels in Osaka were generally expensive, but this one was quite reasonable, so I stayed here while visiting the Expo. What surprised me was the long line (about 50 people) when I tried to drop off my luggage at noon. It took a lot of time just for that, and when I tried to check out right before the deadline, everyone seemed to have the same idea—I had to let the elevator pass three times before getting on. I realized some challenges of staying at a large-capacity hotel. From now on, I'll look for nearby coin lockers or plan an earlier checkout when staying at big hotels.

    Cannot tolerate elevator queues.

It might be because it's the weekend, but it's too crowded. Especially the elevators and the bath. For the high price... the refrigerator doesn't cool properly. Disappointing.

    Breakfast on the 40th floor

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. There were many side dishes, and dining with a great view was exceptional. Highly recommended. The only disappointment was that the bottled water, which should have been in the Room, was missing.

    A very beautiful Hotel.

The large public bath was excellent. The Room was very clean and well-equipped, including amenities. The toilet in the unit bath might feel a bit cramped for larger individuals, though it's not a major issue. As for the Facility rating of 4 stars, there are six elevators each for upper and lower floors, but they take quite some time to arrive. If anything, that was the biggest drawback.

    欽ちゃん!

    The bath capacity! The elevator!

Stayed for two nights from August 18th! First surprise: despite having six elevators, they hardly ever came—probably the slowest I've ever experienced! Then, I was shocked in the bath—crowds of people everywhere! At first, I thought the bath was spacious. But as time passed, it became overcrowded! The cold bath? Honestly, it looked murky like it had dirt in it. And only lukewarm water came out of the faucet; I couldn’t refresh myself with cold water (apologies if I was using it wrong). The Room was small and even had a book by the president—I wasn’t sure what to think about that. Stepping out of the Room into the hallway, there was no air conditioning—it’s an open space and extremely hot. Spent two days thinking “what’s going on here?” Not sure if improvements are possible here... Sorry to say this—I might not come back again. Apologies and tears!

    Not clean.

I made a Reservation thinking this was a new Hotel that opened in December 2024. The Hotel itself is new, but it felt as if cleaning was not thorough—or hardly done at all. What was especially bad were the hallways on each floor; the areas near the ends did not appear to be cleaned at all and were white with dust. It is extremely disappointing that an APA Hotel, which should be a flagship property, is in this condition.

Everything was clean as it is new. I was upgraded to a room with a bed that promotes restful sleep, and I slept comfortably. There was also a large public bath. It is in a very convenient location, so I will stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    Enjoyable and Luxurious Hotel

There is always a reason to choose this place every time. The luxurious Facility offers the best cost performance, making you feel a bit rich. The large public bath is excellent; however, unfortunately, the manners of some foreign guests still need improvement. It’s uncomfortable to see people entering the bath in swimsuits or underwear with towels wrapped around them. It's frustrating not being able to address it due to language barriers and having no choice but to ignore it. That’s the only downside, but I’ll try gathering courage to speak up next time. Thank you as always!

    Fairly recommended.

I was looking forward to visiting as it is a new facility. The room and amenities were fairly standard for an APA hotel. I didn’t really experience any customer service (check-in took just 1 second). The Onsen and baths were new and clean, but I wonder why the open-air bath doesn’t have a view? Also, the water temperature in the open-air bath was lower. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of dishes that seemed appealing to inbound tourists as well. The biggest issue is the elevators—there are several of them, yet they are incredibly slow. It’s unbelievable. The time it takes to use the multi-story parking lot also made me think that perhaps costs related to elevator facilities were cut down? Additionally, there were many inbound tourists, and I noticed some rooms with shoes left outside or garbage piled up in front of them. While it may be challenging due to limited staff, please consider teaching visitors about Japanese manners as part of their cultural experience during their stay.

    A spacious and comfortable Hotel.

APA Hotel, boasting the highest number of guests in Western Japan. With a spacious and grand exterior, it offers all the conveniences such as a large public bath, pool, roof terrace, restaurant, and convenience store. Although somewhat more expensive compared to other APA Hotels, considering its location and Facility within the hotel, it seems reasonable. The area in front of the guest rooms is entirely open-air atrium style, making it very cold in winter. The provided yukata has an innovative design that foreign guests will appreciate; however, having separate pieces like samue would also be nice. The restaurant is luxurious with a wide variety of high-quality and delicious meals available. If I may make one request: because the large public bath is so spacious, the washing area feels very cold. It's difficult to wash after shampooing without first getting into the bathtub due to how cold it feels—this is a drawback. It’s an excellent public bath overall; any consideration on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you for providing such a comfortable time.
