A lodging-focused approach is fine.

Arriving at 3:00 PM when check-in starts, there was a very long line. With many international guests, the self-service check-in kiosks took time, and the staff were busy assisting, so it ended up taking quite a while. It was disappointing—if there are enough front desk staff, offering face-to-face check-in as well could help reduce congestion. Amenities can be picked up in only the amounts you need, so there’s no waste, and they explain the in-Room items so you know what’s available. I’d appreciate more women-oriented amenities such as cleansing oil and facial cleanser, as it would make it easier to stay with just carry-on luggage. The Room isn’t new, but it was clean and not too small, which was nice. I wanted to eat breakfast in the Room, but carrying drinks, soup, and bread for two people back was physically difficult, so having trays would be helpful. For a free breakfast, the miso katsu sandwich was filling and satisfying. Overall, considering the location and price, I think it offers great value for money.
