    I feel it every year.

    I always stay here during the festival season, and check-in is always hectic. There seems to be poor coordination between the front desk and housekeeping, which leaves guests confused. Since this happens every year, I wonder when it will become smoother. I expect to stay again in the future, so I hope check-in will be more efficient.

    I decided to go on a castle tour in Gunma Prefecture. The accommodation was conveniently located near Numata Castle Ruins and surrounded by plenty of dining options, so I chose it. With a spacious public bath on the first floor and a large dining area, the overall design was relaxing and comfortable. I splurged a little and reserved a room on the 10th floor, the top floor, where I enjoyed expansive views of Numata's beautiful mountain scenery. For dinner, I had some drinks at the yakitori restaurant next door, which was right in front of the parking lot. There were also several izakayas and bars nearby, making this my favorite accommodation. The breakfast buffet was well-managed with staff promptly replenishing dishes and cleaning up with great attention to detail. However, it was disappointing to see some guests leaving their tables messy with leftover dishes behind.

    Stayed overnight bef...

    Stayed overnight before climbing Mount Nikko-Shirane. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was comfortable. The staff at the front desk had a lovely smile. I plan to stay again in October before climbing Mount Shibutsu in Oze.

    This time, just a little.

    This was my second stay. Perhaps due to the festival, the staff seemed busy, and their service was a bit disappointing. It would have been helpful to receive explanations about how to use the public bath and breakfast options. I look forward to staying here again.

    Oze Journey

    We stayed here after exploring Oze. The facility was very clean, and our Room was upgraded, making it spacious and comfortable. The large public bath was also clean and spacious, which we appreciated. Breakfast included options like porridge, making it easy to enjoy. However, there were no hairbands among the Room amenities, which made washing my face a bit inconvenient—though I admit forgetting mine was my fault.

    The room is great and cost-effective.

    Stayed for one night after visiting Oze. I didn't have high expectations as it is a Business Hotel, but it had an artificial Onsen, and the twin Room had a two-seater sofa and a relatively large table, which was nice. Dinner is available at the Hotel, but there are also izakayas and convenience stores nearby. The cost is half the price of Tokyo. The area around Numata Station is famous for being associated with Sanada Yukimura's father. It takes about an hour by car from Tokura in Oze, but I thought it was a good place to stop by.

    It was excellent.

    This time I used it for work-related purposes. The Room, bath, view, meals, and staff were all excellent. However, due to work, it was hectic, so next time I would like to fully enjoy the Hotel at leisure for private purposes. I look forward to staying again.

    New and clean. The breakfast was also satisfying. I would like to stay again when I go to the Numata area.

    It is a comfortable Hotel.

    The new Business Hotel had clean Rooms. The breakfast was also substantial. However, although the Room was a non-smoking Room, there was a smell that seemed like tobacco the moment I entered. For people sensitive to smells, this might be a negative point. Other than that, I think it is a cost-effective Hotel.
