    The Room, sauna, and...

    The Room, sauna, and Onsen were all excellent. I understand it may be unavoidable with so many foreign guests, but many people entered the Onsen without rinsing first, and I saw some guests whose hygiene seemed questionable. I also saw someone with large tattoos, so it was disappointing that many foreign guests did not seem to understand the rules.

    We used Onyado Nono Asakusa Annex for a Multiple Night Stay booked through IKYU. When moving between Rooms within the property, the front desk refused to assist with transferring our luggage and gave inappropriate excuses. In the end, a female staff member carried it, but she deliberately made loud noises, handled our luggage roughly, and behaved in an extremely intimidating and hostile manner. Furthermore, when we protested her rude behavior and asked for her name, the duty manager refused to disclose it—apparently to protect his subordinate. Just to confirm a single name, we were forced to waste more than 30 minutes of valuable time. The manager’s attempt to conceal the facts for self-protection is extremely malicious. As long-time fans who have consistently chosen group brands such as Dormy Inn and La Vista for 80% of our trips in Japan over many years, we are left speechless by this incident. We strongly request strict disciplinary action by the General Manager and an official explanation.

    It’s been a while.

    With the weather being unpredictable, I didn’t want to go too far, but I still wanted to get away—so I chose Dormy Inn again for the first time in a while. I also stay at luxury hotels, but the large public bath with a sauna and cold plunge pool was simply the best. Staff regularly came into the bathing area to clean chairs and keep everything tidy. There were several types of shampoo and conditioner available, so you can choose what you like. The staff were kind and pleasant as well. Dormy Inn really is great—I’ve become a fan. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    A Large Public Bath Beyond Expectations

    There was a much more impressive large public bath than I expected, and it really helped me refresh after the trip.\nI was also pleasantly surprised that the massage chairs were free to use.\nFrom the entrance to the Room, everything is tatami, and our 1-year-old daughter loved it.\nRecommended for families with small children.

    Enjoy an Onsen Accommodation in Asakusa

    It’s located very close to Senso-ji Temple. Since it’s part of the Dormy Inn group, I had a general idea of what to expect, but it was even better than anticipated. Also, it happened to be between holiday periods, so I felt the value for money was excellent. You take off your shoes at the Hotel entrance (international guests do the same) and store them in a shoe locker; inside, you walk along tatami-style corridors barefoot or in socks. It feels wonderfully different from everyday life. The bath is a “natural Onsen.” The water is Tokyo’s characteristic dark color, and it really warmed me up. There’s also an open-air-style area; since it’s underground you can feel the outside air, but there’s no view at all—which is understandable. The Room was very simple, but new and functional. I enjoyed the usual late-night noodles, post-bath ice cream, and breakfast as well. The massage chairs were free to use, and I felt truly refreshed. If I had to mention one minor point: breakfast felt slightly less cost-effective (perhaps because of too much focus on seafood). The all-you-can-eat seafood bowls (with sushi rice available) are impressive, but in some ways it felt a bit too geared toward international visitors. That said, everything was delicious.

    It was very good.

    Since it was Golden Week, I felt the price was a bit high, but I was satisfied with the location, the room, the breakfast, and the staff’s service. The night view and the illuminated five-story pagoda and Tokyo Skytree were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. Just one thing—I wish there had been a trash bin in the washroom.

    The entire building ...

    The entire building has tatami flooring, so it was very comfortable not having to walk around in shoes. Breakfast was delicious, and the bath was an Onsen, so I was able to relax deeply. In the Room, it was a bit disappointing to find some hair and what seemed to be a toy coin from a previous guest under the bed, but the view from the window—Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree—was beautiful, which made it a wonderful stay. All of the staff were very kind, and I’m glad we chose this Hotel. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Asakusa.

    It was very good.

    As it’s a new Facility and very clean, I had a pleasant stay. I was tired, so the aroma scent throughout the building was soothing. All the staff were wonderful, and I’m grateful for their courteous service. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Unnecessary lingering on the massage chair is not allowed.

    Please ensure proper etiquette and usage rules for the massage chairs are clearly displayed in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

    Full of Japanese charm

    From the warm hospitality of the front desk staff who just returned from a trip to Taiwan, to the strong sense of Japanese ambiance upon entering the room, everything was delightful. The sumptuous breakfast was amazing!

    I liked it more than I expected.

    We made a last-minute reservation to relax and unwind. As onsen enthusiasts, we enjoyed the high-temperature sauna and various baths, taking multiple long soaks. The room was not very spacious but provided a calm and comfortable stay. Due to the location, there were many foreign guests, and we were surprised to see some bathing in swimsuits. With Asakusa nearby, we will definitely visit again for a quick and relaxing getaway!

    Mother-Daughter Trip for Three

    This was our first stay at this accommodation for a girls' trip with my 87-year-old mother and two daughters. Before check-in, the staff kindly stored our luggage, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in Asakusa hands-free. We chose this hotel for its natural onsen, and the large bath exceeded our expectations. The onsen water was black, which surprised us at first, but after enjoying both the indoor and outdoor baths multiple times, we felt completely refreshed from our travels. There were several types of shampoo and conditioner available to choose from as well. After bathing, we enjoyed complimentary ice cream, relaxed with massage chairs, and browsed through a variety of books provided. The famous "Yonaki Soba" (night ramen) was delicious too! For breakfast, we indulged in a luxurious seafood bowl by adding as much fresh seafood as we liked or enjoyed various small dishes in both Japanese and Western styles according to our preferences. Everything tasted amazing! From our room, we had an incredible view of Sensoji Temple right in front of us along with Tokyo Skytree—absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was comfortable and secure; even the elevator and large bath areas had excellent security measures in place so that we could stay worry-free. My mother thoroughly enjoyed this long-awaited trip after some time away from traveling. We will definitely return here when staying in Tokyo again!

    Currently the best in the Asakusa area.

    In recent years, I have frequently used accommodations near Asakusa due to visits to Asakusa Toyokan, and this place is currently my favorite. Even without considering the "newness," it deserves five stars for customer service and other aspects. The room is a bit small, but that might be common elsewhere too. The staff's hospitality is excellent. Thank you for your care.

    We used it for two people, it was good.

    The Onsen with black water warmed me up and improved my back and leg pain. The breakfast buffet was of good quality and satisfying.

    Breakfast was disappointing.

    When I stayed shortly after the opening, the breakfast was wonderful. The seafood bowl ingredients were served in a small box for one person, the rice was Koshihikari, the eggs were branded, and there was a particular attention to the pickles. However, when I stayed again after a long time, all those special touches were gone, which was disappointing.
