    The bed is very comfortable!

    I stayed here for a one-night, two-day trip to Sapporo. It’s just a short walk to the subway, making it easy to get around and sightsee toward both Sapporo Station and Shin-Sapporo. The Hotel was very clean, and the bed was spacious with just the right firmness, which helped me recover from travel fatigue. With a large public bath and sauna on site, this is a highly recommended Hotel.

    Satisfied with the location and service.

    This was my first time staying here. There is a parking lot next door, which is convenient. The Room is small, and with two suitcases it feels hard to move around. The bath area was satisfying, with a sauna and a cold plunge pool, but since it is also open to the general public, it can get crowded at busy times...

    The Hotel was clean,...

    The Hotel was clean, and the large public bath was satisfyingly spacious and well maintained, but the front desk staff’s service and poor operations left me very upset. When I pointed it out, they only apologized repeatedly. Another staff member stood nearby watching with a smile, which made it even worse. I honestly wonder what kind of customer service training they receive to be standing there. After check-in, when I arrived at my Room, I received a call saying, “We have upgraded your Room—please relax and enjoy your stay.” However, it didn’t seem any different from the Room I originally reserved, so I was confused. I will never use this Hotel again and do not recommend it.

    First-Time Guest Review

    The Room’s bathtub drain stopper seemed to be broken, but using the shower and the public bath was fine. The air-conditioning was difficult to adjust; sleeping directly under the vent got cold, so I turned it off. The breakfast hot sandwich was good. I would have liked the other dishes to be a bit warmer. The location is convenient, and it happened that my car-share Reservation was next door, which made things easy. Overall, it felt like good value for money.

    There is a large pub...

    There is a large public bath and a smoking area in the basement. The moment the elevator doors open, it smells strongly of cigarettes!! Even the women’s changing room smells. If you’re sensitive to smoke, it may be quite unpleasant. I was looking forward to the public bath, so it was disappointing… Also, while hot water is being added to the tub, the shower water pressure becomes very weak. When no water was being added, the pressure was fine. Please be aware. However, there was an issue in the room, and when I called the front desk they responded immediately! I also felt that the service at both check-in and check-out was pleasant.

    The bed was supposed to be a queen, but it felt like a single. I couldn’t sleep comfortably because I had to lie diagonally.

    Stayed in a queen Room with two people. It felt like only the top mattress was queen-sized and the base was single-sized, or one side was slanted—I couldn’t sleep through the night and ended up with severe back pain. Given that it wasn’t particularly cheap, I was very disappointed. Please make improvements.................................... Also, the floor was slippery and dangerous. ......... Stayed in a queen Room with two people. It felt like only the top mattress was queen-sized and the base was single-sized, or one side was slanted—I couldn’t sleep through the night and ended up with severe back pain. Given that it wasn’t particularly cheap, I was very disappointed. Please make improvements.................................... Also, the floor was slippery and dangerous. .........     Close to Susukino!

    Located right in the heart of the town, it's a perfect location for going out and coming back! The Room is compact but sufficient if you're just looking for a place to sleep. The bath is quite large for a Hotel, with a sauna and a spacious cold bath, which I found excellent! I had no issues staying here!

    Unfortunately, not quite satisfactory.

    Since it was my first time staying at Quintessa, I decided to make a Reservation. First of all, as expected, the Room was small! The queen bed took up most of the space, and other Facilities seemed crammed in, making it feel very tight. Additionally, the wiring setup wasn't ideal. For example, when boiling water in the electric kettle, there was no outlet on the desk. I had to use an outlet on the bedboard instead. However, this meant that I couldn't place the kettle on the desk (the cord wouldn't reach), so I had no choice but to place it on the bed while boiling water. Also, perhaps because it's an older Hotel, I noticed that some parts were not well-maintained—for instance, a slightly dirty (yellowed) shelf installed near the bathtub caught my attention. Regarding amenities: you have to pick them up at the front desk on 1F yourself; it would have been helpful if they informed me about this during check-in. As for breakfast: The dining area felt quite cramped with limited menu options and very few tables! While I managed to find a seat by chance, if more guests were staying at once, there definitely wouldn't be enough capacity for everyone. For ¥20,000 per night with this experience... I'm not entirely convinced it's worth it—though perhaps they're charging higher rates due to summer vacation season being in full swing... Lastly: There seemed to be a public bath and sauna available; however unfortunately due lack of time couldn’t try them out myself—but these might appeal those who enjoy such services!

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night to visit a friend in Sapporo. I visited earlier to leave my luggage, and the front desk staff was very kind and accommodating, making me feel at ease. The room had a large bed where I could sleep comfortably, and the public bath was clean with access to a salt sauna as well. Breakfast offered a variety of options like hot sandwiches and Japanese dishes, allowing me to enjoy a delicious meal in the morning. Even as a solo female traveler, I felt safe staying here with its clean facilities and convenient location near Susukino. Thank you very much!

    The sauna and bath were excellent, with a cold water bath and a relaxation space available.

    The sauna's temperature and size, the coldness of the water bath, and the well-prepared relaxation space were all perfect, showing great attention to detail. It was absolutely excellent, truly refreshing. The Room was spacious and allowed for a comfortable stay.

    I stayed for a Multi...

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay on my first trip to Hokkaido. I checked in around 11 PM on the first day, and the staff at reception were very accommodating. The Room was spacious, clean, and left a great impression. The bath was clean, and the sauna was spacious enough to relax; however, it took some time for hot water to come out of the shower. Breakfast had fewer options but felt just right without overindulging—better than having too much variety. Regarding cleaning services, I was informed at check-in that basic eco-cleaning would only include trash collection and towel replacement. However, since there was an option to request cleaning by placing a sign on the door and another panel indicating bed-making needs on the bed itself, I followed these instructions before leaving for the day. Unfortunately, upon returning, I found that nothing had been done—the bed remained as it was when I left; gowns were not replaced; even towels seemed questionable with lightly stained ones provided instead of fresh replacements—which honestly left me feeling uncomfortable. Other than this issue, everything else felt satisfactory overall.
