    Standard Hotel

    There were lots of comics and books, but I didn’t use them, so it felt like an average Business Hotel. The only highlight was the free curry and drink bar. I couldn’t park in the Hotel’s first-come, first-served parking lot, and I wish I had known in advance where the affiliated parking lot was. When I called, they only told me, “Parking is first-come, first-served,” and didn’t provide any guidance on the affiliated parking location. There seemed to be more international guests than Japanese guests staying there. Good value for money.

    Excellent

    The staff were truly wonderful! The Room was clean and made for a comfortable stay! The complimentary curry rice was delicious, and we were very satisfied! We would love to stay again!

    Great accessibility

    Conveniently located near Kokura Station, making it easy to find even for first-time visitors. The front desk staff were kind and treated guests with care. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, allowing for a comfortable stay. I would love to stay at this Hotel again on my next visit.

    The all-you-can-eat ...

    The all-you-can-eat curry for breakfast and dinner was incredibly appealing. Although I checked in late and just made it in time for dinner, I was delighted to enjoy the delicious curry. With a check-out time of 11:00 AM, I could also take my time enjoying the morning curry, starting my day with ease.

    A hotel reminiscent of a manga café. Free curry is served in the morning and evening, with various toppings available, making it delicious. While curry cannot be brought into the Room, drinks are allowed to be taken back. With a relaxed checkout time of 11:00 AM, I enjoyed coffee while reading manga after having morning curry. The bathroom and toilet showed slight signs of age, but the Room was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for my needs. The front desk staff were all friendly with smiles, making for a pleasant stay. Although I may not have many opportunities to visit this location often, I will definitely stay here again when traveling to the Kokura area!

    The bed is

    The bed sheets were stained, which was disappointing upon entering the room. At first, I thought it might be part of the design, but it turned out to be numerous brown stains. Since the sheets come into contact with your skin, those who are sensitive might find it difficult to sleep. I managed to overlook it and sleep after having a drink (laughs).

    Close to the station and very convenient.

    I had stayed here before when it was the previous JR Kyushu Hotel, so I already knew it was conveniently located near the station. Now, upon entering, there are plenty of comics available, which I think is great for manga lovers. Unfortunately, I couldn't read them due to my farsightedness... Breakfast was free and included curry, making it a cost-effective accommodation. I will definitely stay here again!

    Conveniently located near the station, this accommodation offers great usability. The light meal curry provided has a variety of toppings and was enjoyable. However, cleanliness in the room seems more important than the light meal service. It was disappointing to see cup marks on the table and stains on the wall by the bedside.

The cleaning was thorough, but the full cleaning schedule was fixed, and I wished for more flexibility. The information about cleaning days varied depending on the staff, which caused some confusion. The mugs in the Room were not replaced even during full cleaning; I had to request replacements myself.
