    Hospitality

    Until now, I have always been very satisfied with the Hotels I booked through IKYU.com, but this time it was a Hotel where I did not feel any consideration. Before check-in, I went to the front desk to leave my luggage. The staff were taking a long time assisting the guest ahead of me, so I waited for them to finish. However, they seemed to assume I was with that guest and did not call another staff member. Even after they finished, they ignored me. When using the café bar, orders are placed via mobile ordering, but since people prepare and serve the items, I would have appreciated more consideration regarding the order in which items were delivered.

    The location was excellent. In the morning, I could go for a walk, and breakfast after returning to the Hotel was great. I thought it would have been even better if the Room had been on a higher floor.

    A very clean Hotel

    After enjoying sightseeing in Nara, I headed to the Hotel. It’s close to Nara Park (Sarusawa Pond), and as I walked along the road at night, I was surprised to find a Hotel in such a place. Both the exterior and interior were stylish and really lifted my spirits. The Room was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I could also spend the night and morning while hearing the bells of Kofuku-ji Temple, which made me very happy in such an atmospheric setting. Thank you very much.

    Great value for money Hotel.

    The Room had a great view and a sense of openness, making it very pleasant. The price was reasonable, and the Hotel offered just the right amount of service for a relaxing stay. It is close to Naramachi, yet the view from the Hotel is surrounded by nature, which was truly satisfying.

    Sleep well and start your morning refreshed!

    We stayed in a loft-style room for our trip with three friends. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, noticing whenever we needed assistance and offering help with warm smiles. Their thoughtful and kind service left us deeply impressed, making us feel truly cared for. My friends also commented on how wonderful the young staff were, saying, "Everyone here is so attentive and kind; this is such a great hotel." The beds, loft futons, and pillows were all very comfortable, allowing all three of us to sleep soundly. We woke up refreshed in the morning and visited Kasuga Taisha Shrine to start our day. The fresh air and beautiful scenery made for a delightful morning. Additionally, there are charming shops like Starbucks by Sarusawa Pond and Sarusawa Douhua within walking distance, as well as convenient stores nearby. The bathroom includes a washing area similar to home baths, making it very comfortable to use. Since the toilet is separate from the bathroom, it was convenient even when someone was bathing. The room itself was simple yet clean with enough space for three people to spread out their luggage comfortably—choosing a loft-style room was definitely the right decision. Although we didn’t include breakfast this time around, one of my friends who checked out the café mentioned that it looked delicious and suggested adding breakfast next time. Thanks to IKYU.com’s great deals at the time of booking through Reservation on their platform, we had an experience that truly exceeded its value. We had an amazing stay together thanks to your hospitality! It reminded me how important both who you travel with and where you stay are in creating unforgettable memories. Thank you so much!

    Stayed here for one ...

    Stayed here for one night to visit the National Treasure Exhibition. The exterior was stylish, the café bar was cozy, and the young staff provided pleasant service. I enjoyed the breakfast produced by Kuruminoki and was happy to purchase some souvenir goods. Although it was disappointing that Kofukuji Temple was under renovation and not viewable, I could see deer grazing in a nearby meadow from the terrace in the morning. However, I felt some discomfort with the layout of the bed, sofa, and TV in my Room, which made it hard to relax. There were steps leading up to access the bathroom from where the futon was placed—this might have contributed as well. Additionally, the futon was laid out with its head facing north. I couldn’t sleep well and only dozed off around 4 a.m., but then loud truck noises woke me up; looking outside revealed a garbage collection truck right below my Room. I hope more attention can be given to creating guest Rooms that promote relaxation and restful sleep.
