    Family Stay

    Stayed as a family of three in a Junior Suite. The Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also very delicious, and we would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    This Hotel offers excellent value for the price. The reason I rated meals 4 is that there are many restaurants nearby. I was very satisfied.

    The Room was clean a...

    The Room was clean and pleasant. However, the sink was low and narrow, making it difficult to wash my face. At times, I could hear other guests’ voices and noises, which felt a bit noisy. It became quiet at bedtime. The restaurant service was excellent, and I really enjoyed my meal!

    It was a satisfying trip with plenty of great food.

    On our trip to Shirakawa-go, we stayed at this Hotel for two nights in Takayama along the way. We booked a suite Room with dinner featuring Hida beef steak as the main dish. On the second night, dinner was sukiyaki. Both meals were generous, and everything—from the non–Hida beef dishes to dessert—was delicious. Breakfast was also thoughtfully prepared, which we really appreciated. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We didn’t use the in-room bath because there is a large public bath, but it was a big bath with a window, and we would have liked to use it if time allowed. The Room towels included only bath towels and face towels (to take to the bath), and there wasn’t a hand towel for the sink or toilet, which was slightly inconvenient. It wasn’t an issue since we could request extra at the front desk, but it would be nice to have a hand towel in the toilet from the start (paper towels would also be fine). The loungewear (can be worn inside the Hotel) was very comfortable. Because the front desk area is a bit small, check-in and check-out can get crowded. All of the staff were very helpful, so even minor inconveniences weren’t a problem.

    We stayed in a Junio...

    We stayed in a Junior Suite for two people for one night. The Room was very spacious, yet comfortably sized. We didn’t use them this time, but the Room also had a bathtub and shower, which seemed convenient if you prefer to bathe in your Room. There was no explanation about using the slippers and loungewear, so we weren’t sure whether they were only for use inside the Room or also allowed throughout the Hotel. Not only the Room but the entire Hotel felt very clean, making our stay pleasant. The large public bath was reasonably spacious and at a comfortable temperature. The outdoor bath had a gap beneath the fence, allowing us to enjoy the view. We could also enjoy the scenery from the relaxation area and unwind comfortably. Dinner was served as a kaiseki course featuring local ingredients, and everything tasted excellent. Breakfast was a buffet and was just as enjoyable. The location was also convenient, close to both the station and bus terminal.

    A hotel conveniently located near the station. Truly convenient for going anywhere. The staff are kind and friendly. Great value for money with delicious meals. It might just become my go-to Hotel in Takayama!

    Stay for two people as a couple on a weekend during the autumn foliage season.

    Stayed during the autumn foliage season on a weekend. A clean and beautiful hotel. The plan included a dinner with Hida beef, and both the meal and staff service were excellent. Conveniently located near the central area such as Kamisannomachi and Takayama Station, making it perfect for both sightseeing and business. The large public bath felt like a little treat and was very enjoyable. At checkout, I overheard a foreign guest telling the front desk staff, "Very nice hotel, perfect!"

    Only the shared toilet is a downside.

    The Onsen in the large public bath was clean and amazing. The amenities felt high-quality, not like those of a typical Business Hotel. Since the hotel is still new, the room was also very clean. However, the shared restroom on the first floor and the restroom in the large public bath seemed poorly maintained, with trash on the floor making it dirty. More frequent restroom checks would be appreciated.

    You can enjoy a casual dinner at the restaurant on the 1st floor, making it convenient to have a meal after returning to the Hotel tired from exploring. With an Onsen available, you can relax and unwind comfortably.

    Cozy Hotel

    The nighttime ochazuke service, ice candies, abundant breakfast, and the design of the Room made for a very comfortable stay. The reception staff and breakfast venue staff were all very pleasant. The Room on the 5th floor with a view of the city was also excellent. Thank you very much!

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near Takayama Station, Takayama Jinya, and the old town streets, this Hotel offers spacious rooms with a sofa, table, and even a desk. Dinner featured a Hida beef course that was absolutely delicious and satisfying. The public bath was quiet during my visit, allowing for a relaxing experience. However, there was no explanation about amenities during check-in, and when I returned to pick up my luggage after checking out and leaving the Hotel, there was no greeting from the front desk staff. Despite these minor concerns with service at the front desk, it is still a great Hotel that I would like to stay at again when visiting Takayama.

    The suite features a spacious bathtub.

    We stayed in a suite as a family of four with my elderly parents. The spacious bathroom in the Room was very helpful since we were concerned about the risk of slipping in the public bath due to their age. It was also great that we could explore tourist spots within walking distance. The restaurant staff were polite and kind.

    We are very grateful...

    We are very grateful for being given a room with a great view. We used it for an overnight stay with the purpose of visiting Okuhida Onsenkyo, and we were impressed by the luxurious room. I felt very sorry when he lost the room card and caused you trouble. We truly apologize for any inconvenience caused. There was an ochazuke service at night, and we also enjoyed complimentary coffee. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

    I was able to stay in a spacious room. I was a bit troubled by the lack of towels or paper towels to dry my hands after washing in the toilet. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay. The in-house wear was comfortable, and the women's large bath had good security, which made me feel safe.

    Takayama after a long time

    It is a convenient hotel for going anywhere. It is about 5 minutes from the station, so it is convenient. The hotel is also new, so it is clean, and since the reservation was made through IKYU, the cost performance was good. It was just the tourist season, so all the hotels were expensive. Even among them, this place had a reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious, and above all, the tea, coffee, and tea set in the lobby were all-you-can-drink. You can relax here. This time, it was a plan with breakfast, but there was an ochazuke service at night, which was nice.

    The air conditioning noise is loud.

    The cleanliness was satisfactory, and the meals were delicious. However, the air conditioning was noisy, sounding like a typhoon wind (strong wind), and when my husband went to the large public bath in the evening, the water was lukewarm, so I rated the Facility and bath a 3.

    Stayed during the Takayama Festival. All tourist attractions were within walking distance, and the Hotel was excellent. It would have been nice to have a container for ice. The ochazuke at night was also very delicious. Thank you.
