    A reliably solid Rou...

    A reliably solid Route Inn.\nWith a spacious public bath, I often stay here when traveling. No complaints except that the bath was a bit hot.

    Hotel Route-Inn Choshi

    On this trip, I stayed for one night as a solo traveler. I always feel safe staying here even as a woman traveling alone. I was also happy to be able to watch WOWOW in my Room. The large public bath is clean as well. I was glad to see a poster in the bathing area about special bathing wear for breast cancer patients. In fact, I had surgery for breast cancer in January and no longer have my right breast. I considered using only the shower in my Room, but when I went to the large public bath early in the morning, I was able to bathe alone without worrying about others’ eyes. It made me very happy. I want other people with breast cancer to know that Route Inn is a place where you can feel comfortable staying.

    Close to the station, clean, and features an Onsen.

    We reserved two rooms, a twin and a single, and they kindly arranged adjacent rooms for us. Although it is a Business Hotel, we were delighted to find an onsen public bath on the first floor. This time, we traveled by car (parking fee is 800 yen per night as of December 2025), but the hotel is also conveniently located near Choshi Station. The breakfast may not be luxurious, but considering the price, it was more than satisfactory.

    Keep up the great work!

    This is my second stay. I truly believe this is the only clean and comfortable Hotel in Choshi. The bed's comfort is impeccable. However, I was a bit disappointed this time by some stains on the hallway floor and the breakfast menu. It might be challenging, but how about separating Japanese-style and Western-style breakfast days, focusing on unique and delicious menus instead of offering a buffet? In any case, I hope for further tourism development from Choshi to Inubosaki with initiatives like integrating Choshi Dentetsu into JR or similar projects.

    It was great.

    The location was great for watching fireworks as the venue and the Hotel were close. The Room was nice, but there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the hallway, which was disappointing. Breakfast was delicious, but although we requested a table for four together, we were seated separately. Meanwhile, a group of five who came later were guided to a single table together, which made us question the guidance process.

    The room, Onsen, and other facilities were clean, allowing for a relaxing stay. Additionally, it would have been great if the breakfast buffet included Choshi specialties like grilled sardines and mackerel.

    I often visit because I like it, and initially, I thought it was quite good; however, the breakfast menu feels somewhat monotonous.

    The bed was disappointing.

    The location is convenient and the property is clean, and the Onsen and breakfast are good, but the bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on a wooden floor, and I couldn’t sleep.

    Very satisfied!

    It was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. There was nothing lacking or excessive, so for me, it was perfect. The staff at the Hotel were also very accommodating, and I am grateful for the comfortable stay. Thanks to this, I was able to study and refresh for my certification in my beloved Choshi. Thank you very much!

    Wonderful staff

    I stayed for a two-night, three-day stay as a solo female traveler. It was such a wonderful hotel that I thought I would choose this place if I were to stay at a business hotel. The onsen was even more beautiful than the photos, and I could enjoy dinner in my room in the form of a restaurant takeout. This alone was blissful, but the staff was amazing. From check-in on the day of arrival to arranging dinner and exchanging amenities during the multiple night stay, they responded with warm smiles and kind words in every aspect. During the multiple night stay, I stayed in the room during the day, but when I only requested an amenity exchange and garbage bag collection, the cleaning staff who responded was also cheerful and kind. There was a slight wait time for something, but I received a courteous apology and further words of apology from another staff member at checkout. I was moved by the thoughtfulness that seemed too much for me. Since it is a business hotel, I was somewhat prepared for assembly-line work and template responses, but I felt as if they understood how each guest spent their time, just like a luxury ryokan, and shared it among the staff to act accordingly. That hospitality is no longer at the level of a business hotel. I often travel alone as a woman, and while the local food and scenery are, of course, memorable, the most memorable thing is the staff's hospitality and warmth. I will never forget the faces of the staff who responded earnestly. Please continue to enjoy and do your best. Thank you for providing such a high-quality time on this occasion. I would definitely like to use it again.

    Greetings as a service industry are...

    When checking out, the two staff members at the counter were chatting animatedly. Although we made eye contact, they seemed too engrossed in their conversation to return my greeting. Despite having a comfortable stay, the employees' attitude left me feeling less satisfied with my choice to stay here. It was disappointing that my morning didn't start on a pleasant note.
