    The room was very comfortable, but the vending machine...

    I always stay here when visiting Kichijoji. I’m satisfied with everything—the atmosphere of the Facility, the staff’s hospitality, the Room amenities and design, and the number and quality of the on-site restaurants. However, could something be done about the vending machine on the 6th floor? Not only does it not accept transit IC cards, it also doesn’t accept the new 500-yen coins or the new 1,000-yen bills. To buy a drink you need 100-yen coins only, and if you don’t have enough you have to go to the front desk to get change. If replacing the vending machine is difficult due to alcohol-related requirements or similar reasons, could you at least install a change machine that converts new 1,000-yen bills into 100-yen coins? It’s such an easy improvement that I can’t understand why it hasn’t been addressed. Other than that, everything is excellent.

    Both the front desk ...

    Both the front desk and the lounge offered exceptionally warm, pleasant service—rare for a Hotel—and it really helped me relax. Since I was on a lower floor, getting around by stairs was easy and convenient. As I booked the premium type, I could also use the lounge with complimentary drinks (including alcohol), which almost felt wasted on a simple business trip. If you plan to have dinner in the lounge, I recommend adding an à la carte dish (the buffet is average). Unfortunately, the overall behavior of Japanese tourists at that time wasn’t great (nothing that can be helped). One concern was that there was quite a strong vibration noise coming from somewhere on an upper floor until late at night, which would make it hard to relax during the day.

    Abundant amenities

    I stayed in a Comfort Double Room. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious enough to relax comfortably. The amenities here were abundant, including toothbrushes, cosmetics, coffee, tea, two bottles of water, and even several types of scented bath salts. It was so enjoyable! The variety of amenities left nothing to be desired. Meals were served at the restaurant on the second floor. With its high ceilings and open design, it felt very refreshing. As a service for guests, they offered coffee, tea, juice, wine, and light snacks in a cozy space next to the restaurant that had sofas and cushions like a living room—perfect for relaxing. Since I used to live in Kichijoji and this trip was like revisiting my personal sacred place from those days, I was thrilled to find an old photo book featuring shops from Kichijoji's past in this corner by chance—it made my time there truly special. Breakfast was buffet-style with made-to-order egg dishes that were delicious—I had an omelet prepared for me (you can also order thickly cooked eggs). Overall food quality met expectations; everything tasted great. As for the room itself: while it was clean and comfortable as expected from a Comfort type room on the third floor—the view only showed neighboring buildings due to its height. Since guest rooms go up to the sixth floor (with restaurants located on floors seven and eight), staying on higher floors might offer better views overlooking Kichijoji. On the sixth floor were facilities like an action room and gym; within this action room were conveniences such as ice machines or microwaves—perfect when we stocked up at nearby convenience stores (like FamilyMart) for some late-night indulgence! Although it's a bit of a walk from the station if you're exploring Kichijoji anyway—as I intended—the location is convenient overall!

    The walls are very thin, so you can clearly hear sounds from the neighboring rooms.

    The accommodation itself is fine, but the soundproofing is an issue. You can clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, even to the point of understanding what is being said. This means that sounds from this room are likely audible to them as well—door movements when going to the restroom, flushing water, coughing, and even murmurs can be heard. It might be suitable for those who are not sensitive to noise; however, as a Platinum member of Comfort Members who has stayed at various Tokyu Hotels, I was quite surprised by the low quality of the guestroom in this regard.

    It was comfortable.

    Stayed for two nights for my daughter's exam. Initially, I was concerned about the distance from the station, but there were many shopping streets and restaurants along the way, making it a convenient location. The building is a bit old, and sounds from the hallway or running water can be slightly noticeable, but the room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were all very pleasant. It’s a hotel I would like to use again in the future.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I enjoyed walking from the station to the Hotel while exploring the shopping street. Although it is along a bus route, the interior is very quiet. The U-shaped design allows you to view an open-air restaurant from the window, creating a unique and extraordinary atmosphere. Breakfast was not included, but I had a discounted morning buffet with my Room booking, which was absolutely delicious. I had a relaxing stay and am very satisfied.

    Returning guest.

    I stay here every time I visit Tokyo twice a year. This is a very good Hotel—efficient, clean, and quiet. The Room was comfortable during my stay, with clear signs for cleaning and towel replacement, access via card key, and amenities like ice, water, sparkling water, or borrowing an iron readily available. It's conveniently located near the station, and just strolling around Kichijoji offers everything you need. I will definitely return!

    I frequently used this Hotel during the Daiichi Hotel era. However, I was rarely satisfied with the service. This time, I stayed here again after a long time. The front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming.

    During my previous s...

    During my previous stay, while the location was great, the Room's Facility left much to be desired, leaving me with a less favorable impression. However, this time I decided to make a Reservation as I was visiting Kichijoji. To my surprise, it seems the place has been renovated—the Room doors and interior now have a very natural and clean feel. If I were to rate the Room, I'd give it 97 points. The missing 3 points are due to the door leading from the bathroom to the bedroom being loose—it reopens easily after lightly closing it. That was disappointing. I would love to stay here again in the future! Please consider fixing that door issue!

    The front desk staff were very kind.

    I stayed here urgently due to my daughter's childbirth. The day before, I stayed at a hotel in Asagaya, but considering shopping, I decided to come here as I had visited for meals before and knew the location was convenient. The staff were truly kind and attentive, allowing me to head to the hospital feeling great after yesterday's birth. Thank you so much!

    Recommended for exam takers

    I stayed at the property the day before my exam. Although I live in a place where I can make it on time from home on the day, I decided to stay overnight because the Sobu Line near the university often experiences delays and there was a possibility of bad weather due to cold waves during that period. It was a calm and nice room with a humidifier, and there were thoughtful gestures from the front desk to support examinees. Thank you very much. Thanks to being able to conserve my energy without stress, I was able to pass successfully. Although it felt like a bit of luxury, I realized that having peace of mind contributed to my success. I'm really glad I stayed. By the way, it seems that rooms were fully booked for several days during exam season, so we recommend making an early reservation.

    I used this for an exam stay, but... Even after 11 PM, there was noise from the restaurant? Cleaning and preparation sounds, along with women chatting loudly for about 2 hours... I stayed in a Room on the 4th floor, but it was extremely, extremely, extremely noisy, and I couldn't fall asleep easily. I strongly recommend that exam takers avoid staying here!
