    Lost Card Assistance

    I seem to have dropped my key card in the large public bath changing room, and I couldn’t get back in. When I contacted the front desk, they responded immediately and were very helpful.

    Both the room temperature and the staff’s service were “ice-cold” throughout our stay.

    I have stayed here several times in the past, but this time was the worst. After check-in, when I entered the Room it was freezing cold, and I had to turn on the air conditioner myself right away. Even a typical Business Hotel has the temperature set to a comfortable level before guests enter, so this was my first time experiencing something like this. What surprised me even more was that common areas such as the lobby, elevator hall, and corridors were almost as cold as outside. I can’t believe heating wasn’t being used throughout the Hotel. Perhaps because of the cold, I developed a fever in the middle of the night. After finishing my complimentary mineral water, I asked for an additional bottle so I could take medicine, but was refused with “one bottle per day” and told to go to another floor to use a water dispenser instead. Even after explaining that I wasn’t feeling well, there was no flexibility and the response felt very cold. In addition, the shower head in my Room was broken—water sprayed out from the side and it couldn’t be used properly. It wasn’t just “cold” in terms of temperature; staff service felt just as cold. Since I had been a repeat guest, these issues on both facilities and service were extremely unpleasant.

    I am a fan of APA Hotel, but...

    For business use, I usually choose APA Hotels in Tokyo because I like their large public baths. This time, due to work reasons, I stayed at the closest APA Hotel to my destination. Compared to other APA Hotels, the facilities, public bath, and customer service were satisfactory. However... my room (single) was located along the Metropolitan Expressway, and the noise was terrible. I've stayed at various business hotels before, but this was the first time I couldn't sleep due to noise. Fortunately, I had earplugs in my luggage and managed to get some light sleep intermittently. However, considering the hotel's size and occupancy level at that time (it didn’t seem fully booked), I couldn’t help but wonder why they assigned me this particular room... It left me feeling disappointed. I probably won’t use this APA Hotel again in the future. For those planning to stay here, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance and requesting a room away from the expressway if possible (unless you are someone who isn’t bothered by noise).

    Almost there.

    The stay was very comfortable, except for wishing there were a few more washing machines. From check-in, the staff provided detailed explanations and warm interactions, making the experience very pleasant.

    Great value for money.

    I stayed here during a trip with my child. It felt a bit far from the station because it was raining, but on a sunny day, it would feel like an easy walking distance. Tokyo Tower and Azabudai Hills are nearby, making it enjoyable to casually explore the area from the Hotel. The large public bath was spacious and comfortable, but I would appreciate some measures to clearly identify personal slippers.

    It's a small Room, but comfortable to stay in.

    I used it for Roppongi Art Night. My room was small, but perhaps because it was new, the layout was cleverly designed and comfortable. The large bath on the top floor and the observation terrace also enhance the appeal of this hotel. VOD is free, so it might be suitable for long stays. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    New and clean Hotel

    Overall impression is a new and clean Hotel! However, the dirty wall in the toilet was unpleasant. I wished they had put more effort into cleaning. The Hotel staff were polite and nice.

    First-time Use

    This was my first time using the service, and I was able to have a comfortable stay. The Room was clean and compact in size, but there were no issues, and the large public bath was very nice. I think I would use it again.

    Gawa is not a bad ho...

    Gawa is not a bad hotel, and the hot springs were nice, but overall satisfaction is low. Even small noises from the neighboring room and footsteps from the floor above were quite audible, making me think, "It's a nice hotel, but the walls are thin!" Also, I had a restless sleep and woke up several times during the night. Probably the bed is not very good. The surrounding environment is pleasant.
