    The breakfast was delicious.

    I stayed for one night while sightseeing in Otaru. The Hotel has great access to the main street, and there is a convenience store right next door, which was very convenient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, all delicious—I was almost disappointed that I couldn’t finish everything. Since the Hotel is new, it was clean overall, but it was a bit disappointing to find mold around the Room’s plumbing areas (such as the base of the sink faucet and the corners of the bathtub). That said, the staff were courteous and helpful, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again when I visit Otaru.

    The view is amazing.

    I stayed in a Superior Twin on the 9th floor. From the window, you can see the sea of Otaru, and the sunrise rising from there is truly breathtaking. From the large public bath, you can also enjoy Otaru’s night view, and the scenery helps melt away your fatigue. Since this is Hokkaido, I chose No Meals Included. In hindsight, I think adding breakfast might have been a good idea.

    The Golden Age of Otaru

    Located near the Bank of Japan in Otaru, where traces of its prosperous past remain, this Hotel offered great views from the large public bath. It wasn’t flashy, but it was very practical and comfortable to use. The breakfast was delicious—I ended up eating too much.

    Perfect for a parent-and-child trip.

    My child and I stayed for two nights. The Hotel is conveniently located between the station and the Otaru Canal, making it a great base for exploring Otaru. It was easy to walk back and forth. Amenities are not provided in the Room, so being able to pick up only what we needed from next to the front desk was perfect for our two-night stay. The Room was stylish and very clean. We stayed on an upper floor, and the view was wonderful both morning and night, making it a great memory. Just seeing that view made us glad we chose this Hotel. Breakfast was different each day rather than the same both days, which makes a Multiple Night Stay even more enjoyable—and everything was delicious! One small note: the changing area of the large public bath is not very spacious, so I recommend going at a less busy time. The open-air bath was also great, with views outside. All staff were very kind, and even though it was just the two of us, we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We were very satisfied with this Hotel—thank you so much. We would love to stay again if we visit Otaru in the future. Thank you for helping us make such wonderful memories.

    The open-air bath was wonderfully warming.

    The Room was clean, and we could watch Netflix and YouTube. The open-air bath was very warming. We could also walk to Otaru Station. Thank you very much.

    The large public bath is…

    I have always stayed here and have been comfortable, but this time I was truly disappointed because a sewage-like odor spread throughout the large public bath. I also overheard other guests saying the same thing, so it does not seem to be just my personal impression. When I asked my husband, he said the men’s bath was in the same condition. What could be causing this? As this may be a hygiene-related issue, I would appreciate it if you could check the situation and take appropriate action. I would like to continue staying here with peace of mind, so I hope for improvement.

    Family Trip

    We stayed for a family trip. The Room was clean and comfortable, but the refrigerator was broken, which was a downside. However, it was addressed the next day, so it turned out fine. The breakfast didn't have many options, but the quality was good. We would like to stay again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I believe this hotel...

    I believe this hotel offers a quiet environment where you can take a break between sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was thoughtfully prepared, making it enjoyable to choose what to eat. The large public bath was well-maintained and clean, but guidance for foreign guests unfamiliar with Japanese bathing culture seemed insufficient, which felt like a missed opportunity. Overall, the service was attentive, and although my stay was short, it was comfortable. I would love to stay at this accommodation again.

    Good.

    It is a bit far from the station, but walking through the arcade ensures comfort even on snowy days. The view from the room on the upper floors was excellent. If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the bathroom is small. For foreign guests, it might feel a bit cramped.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Stay at Again

    Located about a 5-minute walk from the station, you can reach the Hotel almost entirely dry by passing through an arcade, making it convenient even in rain or snow. There is a convenience store nearby, along with restaurants, cafes, and a pharmacy—extremely convenient! Otaru Canal is also close by. The Hotel is relatively new, offering a clean and stylish atmosphere. The Room was well-maintained and modern. The bathroom area (bathroom/toilet/sink) can be separated from the bedroom with a door, ensuring no disturbance from hallway noise. From our Room on the 5th floor, we had a view of Otaru Bay. While amenities were minimal and there was no bottled water provided in the Room, this did not bother me personally. The open-air bath in the public bath area was very relaxing; while soaking in warm water, your face feels refreshingly cold—a perfect combination for long baths! However, as the washing area is close to the bath itself, I noticed that some parts of the floor felt slippery at times. Additionally, note that the mini-fridge in the Room has limited capacity—be cautious if planning to store many refrigerated items. The staff at both reception and housekeeping were incredibly friendly and welcoming with wonderful smiles throughout our stay. During unexpected snow and rainstorms during our visit, we borrowed an umbrella from them; when it bent due to strong winds and I offered to compensate for it upon return—they kindly reassured me not to worry about it given such weather conditions. From check-in to check-out their service was exceptional overall—I would definitely choose this Hotel again when staying in Otaru!

    Conveniently located.

    The location is convenient as it is within walking distance of the downtown area. The Hotel is reasonably clean, but the bathroom drainage seemed slow, causing water and soap to accumulate at my feet during showers, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, while there are nearby parking spaces outside, I was assigned the farthest spot possibly because I had a compact car. Carrying luggage from there was quite challenging. It would have been helpful if I could have unloaded my luggage in front of the Hotel entrance before being directed to the parking lot.

    The sunrise view from the open-air bath is breathtaking.

    I always spend my refreshment holidays here. Although it felt a bit early for autumn foliage this season, I was deeply moved by the sunrise spreading over the sea from the open-air bath. It was more breathtaking than any other view. The Hotel is always clean and reassuring. Thank you to all the staff as always!

    The breakfast was excellent. The variety and taste were perfect, and I ended up eating too much in the morning. It is located within walking distance to everywhere, making it very accessible. The Room was clean and tidy. However, it was disappointing that there weren't enough towels in the Room when taking them to the large public bath. It would have been nice to have at least an additional hand towel provided.

    The bathing facility was very clean and pleasant. However, the dirt around the room's water area and dust on the bed board were a bit concerning.

    Great location

    It was a new Business Hotel. The Room felt slightly small, and the bed was a bit firm. My middle school daughter mentioned that the breakfast was delicious.

    It was disappointing.

    The room's refrigerator was small. The dining area was also small for the number of people, resulting in long queues. The bath was better than expected. The sea and canal were well visible, and the open-air bath had a refreshing cool breeze. Overall, it felt compact and neatly arranged.

    Spotlessly clean and beautiful!

    The room and the entire accommodation are exceptionally clean and beautiful, just as described. This is my second stay, and I always choose this place because the room is impeccably cleaned. I will continue to stay here for its cleanliness. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options! The fresh vegetables are particularly enjoyable, and I always look forward to them. I am excited about staying in such a clean room again in the future!

    I stayed in the Premium Room this time and was amazed by the spaciousness of the room! It was very nice. However, the toilet in the room had a sewage-like smell, which made using it quite unpleasant.

    Would love to stay again.

    I stayed for one night. The new and clean Room had a spacious bed, and although it felt a bit small, it was comfortable. The small table was convenient for having tea or doing makeup. The foreign staff at the front desk spoke Japanese very well, which impressed me. I was also happy that the cleaning staff greeted me. Although it's not located in front of the station, its cleanliness and non-Business Hotel-like atmosphere were great.

    I was looking forwar...

    I was looking forward to staying at this new hotel, but the smell coming from the drain in the large public bath was unpleasant, and the mist sauna also had an odor. The water pressure in the shower was weak, which was disappointing overall. However, the room was clean and nice.

    Clean Hotel

    A very stylish Hotel with a beautiful view of the canal from the Room. The bath was very clean, and there was even an open-air bath, which made me happy. Breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. It is within walking distance from Otaru Station and the canal. Very satisfied!
