    I stayed here on a b...

    I stayed here on a business trip. Some hotels have ReFa hair dryers, but what impressed me most was that every Room also had a hair iron. Bringing one can be heavy, so it was really helpful. The Room was new and clean, with a separate bath and toilet, and I also appreciated the large desk. I will stay here again.

    Our family of four s...

    Our family of four stayed here. The children used Child Sharing Existing Bedding, and the staff kindly responded to our questions before our stay, including about the bed layout. Breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of amenities provided. At check-in we received children’s slippers and other items, which made the kids happy, but they were too small for our 6th grader. Also, it was a bit disappointing that there were only two towels per person and only two chairs.

    As expected from Dai...

    As expected from Daiwa Roynet Hotel. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, which makes it easy. The process is also straightforward. A wide variety of amenities, as well as tea and coffee, are available at the front desk. All rooms are equipped with ReFa products, including a hair straightener, so I was able to travel with almost nothing. When I come to Kagoshima again, I definitely want to stay here.

    I’m a repeat guest. ...

    I’m a repeat guest. Whenever I go to Kagoshima to visit my family grave, I stay here every time. It’s located in the heart of Tenmonkan, and the Hotel facilities are clean and well maintained. This time, my Room was upgraded to an Executive room, and I had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast offers plenty of Kagoshima local dishes, and my husband, who is from Kagoshima, can enjoy nostalgic favorites as well—so we look forward to it every time. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit Kagoshima.

    Important: Please note the Universal Room!

    This was an exceptionally well-executed Business Hotel. If I had to mention one point, the location of the self check-in kiosk was a little hard to find. That said, making the signage too prominent might detract from the Hotel’s atmosphere, so it’s a tricky balance. The interior was clean throughout, and the common areas were spacious and comfortable. Room cleaning was also perfectly fine. There is a bus stop directly across the street, so access to the airport is excellent. The teppanyaki restaurant in the building is quite expensive, but there’s an entertainment district right outside the Hotel, so finding places to eat wasn’t an issue. What really surprised me was breakfast—very high quality and clearly a step above what you typically get at a Business Hotel. The staff at the breakfast venue were also very polite and attentive. Incidentally, this same venue becomes an upscale teppanyaki restaurant at night, which adds to its luxurious feel. One note: the Universal Twin we stayed in was essentially designed for wheelchair users. As a result, its layout differs significantly from standard Rooms. The bathroom itself is spacious, but it felt like something between a typical unit bath and a separate bath-with-wash-area setup; the bathtub was somewhat compact. The sink is also designed quite low. That said, this was our mistake for making a Reservation without checking carefully in advance, so I have no complaints about the Hotel.

    It completely exceeded our expectations!

    I usually stay at a Hotel near Shiroyama, but this time I made a Reservation at this Hotel I’d been curious about for a while. The location is excellent, and since it’s newly built it’s very clean. I assumed it would be just an ordinary Business Hotel, but it far exceeded my expectations—it was a truly great stay. What I liked: - The Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and even the disposable Room slippers are slightly thicker than usual. - Unlike typical business hotels, there are four thick face towels (two sizes) provided. - It’s new, and the TV is large with plenty of features. - ReFa series products are provided, including the shower head and hair dryer. - A phone charger is permanently available, and there are plenty of outlets. - Right in the heart of Tenmonkan with excellent access. - Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but the quality is high, with items like broccoli and strawberries. - The air conditioner airflow isn’t bothersome. A few minor downsides: - With such well-equipped amenities and Facility features, I’d like the cup at the sink to feel a bit cleaner. - Even though the breakfast area wasn’t crowded, I had to wait 20 minutes to enter. - The shower pressure is slightly weak. Overall, considering the price, I was extremely satisfied. This stay changed my impression of Daiwa Roynet Hotels—in a good way. Keep up the great work!

    Overall a Good Hotel

    I stayed in a room with a massage chair. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, making it an overall excellent hotel. All the staff greeted me warmly when passing by in the hallway. (Highlights) - Well-stocked amenity corner (including Sekkisei skincare products, bath salts, drip coffee, and plum kelp tea) - Spacious and well-designed room layout - Equipped with ReFa hair dryer, hair iron, and three types of charging cables - Soft fabric pajamas (separate pieces available in children's sizes as well) - Comfortable bed with smooth sheets for a restful sleep - Convenient location connected to commercial facilities (lockers available on the first floor) (Areas for Improvement) - The elevator always stopped at the front desk floor even when unnecessary. - Although there were self-check-in/out machines near the front desk, after using them I was directed to "go to the front desk" for card key registration or breakfast ticket issuance—making it feel redundant. Clear instructions on conditions for completing procedures solely via machines or guidance like "please visit the front desk first" would be helpful. - The breakfast buffet leaned towards Japanese cuisine; however, hot tea was only available as self-service using tea bags instead of being properly served.

    Daiwa Net as usual.

    The stability is good, but the refrigerator's cooling is poor. On higher accommodation floors, the water pressure in the toilet is quite low. Other than that, no particular issues.

    The location is excellent.

    The location is excellent, and the Facility is clean and satisfying. However, the elevator occasionally behaves oddly, and the staff seemed a bit unfriendly. The affiliated parking lot being slightly far away might also be a downside.

    Conveniently located near Tenmonkan

    Conveniently located and connected to stylish commercial facilities, which was great. Easy access to Kagoshima-Chuo Station by tram, and the parking space for rental cars was easy to find. The amenities were good, the bath was user-friendly, and my daughter was satisfied with using the ReFa curling iron.

    It was excellent.

    I occasionally stay at hotels in this chain, and I love them for their abundant amenities. Perhaps due to the different room grades, the beauty equipment like hair dryers is excellent. Among them, this Hotel was particularly outstanding. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kagoshima. Thank you!

    A Hotel Friendly to Women and Children

    Thank you for your hospitality. It was my first trip to Kagoshima, and I’m glad I chose Daiwa Roynet. The amenities were excellent, and having a hair iron in the room was a great touch. The guidance near the front desk catering to children was also wonderful. As guests, we often research beforehand but still feel some uncertainty; your thoughtful service made it truly remarkable. The location is close to downtown, making it convenient for dining out. Although my stay was short, I felt very comfortable and at ease. Thank you!

    Great location!

    Located on the tram street of Tenmonkan, there is a tram stop about 50 meters away for access to Kagoshima Chuo Station, and a bus stop in front of the Hotel that can take you to almost all areas of the city. There is also a Lawson next to the Hotel, and since there are few taxis in Kagoshima City at night, the location is perfect for dining and drinking in Tenmonkan. The Room is new and clean, and the breakfast buffet is decent. For a trip to Kagoshima, it is affordable and offers a view of Sakurajima, making it highly recommended.

    Regrettably

    I made a reservation a long time ago and requested a corner room in the comments, but I got a room right in the middle. Moreover, the room next door was noisy with banging sounds, and there was a lot of noise early in the morning. Despite predicting this and making an early reservation, I ended up in a room right in the middle instead of a corner room. I came from afar looking forward to it, so it was very disappointing.

    Hotel with a spectacular view of Sakurajima

    First, upon checking in, I realized I had selected "smoking," and since I am extremely averse to tobacco, I consulted with the staff, and they promptly prepared a "non-smoking" room for me, which was a great help. It felt like I could understand the hotel's service in such situations. I knew from a previous stay that the front desk is on the 7th floor, and you have to get off the elevator on the 7th floor and then use the card key to go to the accommodation floor. First-time visitors might find this confusing. Since it's still a new hotel, the facilities are impeccable, and the bathroom is separate from the toilet with a door, allowing you to fully relax in the bathtub. Above all, the location offers a view of Sakurajima right in front of you, so when you go up to the breakfast venue on the 15th floor, you can enjoy a stunning view of Sakurajima up close. However, it was a bit disappointing as it was cloudy on the day. The breakfast buffet offers so many options that it's hard to choose, making me want to have a Multiple Night Stay. You can also enjoy Kagoshima's local dishes like tonkotsu and chicken rice. If I have the opportunity to use it again, I would definitely like to. Thank you very much.

    Thanks to the ReFa dryer and amenities, my skin and hair were shiny all day long. Also, the location is right in the middle of the downtown area, making it very convenient, and I would like to stay here again.

    A wonderful hotel that you would want to make your regular Stays

    The room is clean with a separate toilet and bathroom, and the location is perfect. Although it was a single room, I was pleased to find two bath towels. Personally, I take a bath twice even if it's just for one night.

    Stayed for one night...

    Stayed for one night. Convenient location in the middle of Tenmonkan, easy to go anywhere. There was a massage chair in the room, which I used thoroughly. Being on the east end, I could see Sakurajima, Kinko Bay, and the cityscape from the window, making it a nice room with a great view. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying, and I would like to visit again.

    Choose a hotel near Tenmonkan rather than Kagoshima-Chuo Station!

    I previously stayed at the Grande of the same group near Kyoto Station and had a great experience, so I decided to use it for my first trip to Kagoshima this time. The explanation from the front desk staff was polite and left a good impression! The room was on the 12th floor, spacious enough for two people, sparkling clean, and since there were no tall buildings obstructing the view, we could admire Sakurajima from the window. The guest room had a ReFa hairdryer, curling iron, and an adjustable shower, which I think would make any woman smile! The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor, and from the panoramic windows, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Sakurajima while savoring Kagoshima's local gourmet such as chicken rice, Satsuma-age, and Satsuma soup. Personally, the meat tofu was the best! The staff greeted us with cheerful voices from the morning, were polite, and worked briskly! The way the staff work is incredibly cool!! Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, with the limousine bus stop to Kagoshima Airport right in front of the hotel, and it's the first stop, which is very convenient. When going to Sakurajima for sightseeing, the city tram stop is right in front, and the largest shopping district in Tenmonkan is right next to the hotel, with the Mujyaki main store for Shirokuma ice nearby... It's a delight for tourists. The cheerful greeting from the cleaning staff lady we passed in the hallway at checkout was very impressive! Despite being in the middle of her work, she stopped, bowed her head properly, and thanked us, which left a strong impression and made the hotel an even more wonderful memory thanks to the unsung heroes behind the scenes!! To all the staff, please continue to help create wonderful memories of Kagoshima trips for future guests, just like you did for us!! In October, I will be visiting Kobe, the city of jazz, to see a live performance and will be staying at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Premier in Sannomiya!! Thank you for the wonderful time!!
