    Breakfast Attendant

    As this is a Holiday Inn chain Hotel, there were fewer Japanese staff and more international staff, but there were no particular issues. The person in charge of guiding guests at the breakfast buffet was also pleasant—first thing in the morning matters. The Room was well equipped, and the shower was comfortable. The stairs at the subway station were tiring.

    A modern Hotel with everything you need.

    I stayed in an assigned Queen Room. The Room was compact, but the high ceiling made it feel open and not cramped. The bed was queen-size, and both the mattress and especially the pillows were very comfortable, so I slept soundly. There was no bathtub, but there were three shower settings with strong water pressure, and everything felt clean—more than enough for a one-night stay. I made a Reservation during a sale thinking it would be just for sleeping, but overall the property felt new and very clean, and I was extremely satisfied with the value for the price.

    The Hotel is conveni...

    The Hotel is conveniently located with easy access from Shin-Osaka and Umeda, and the late checkout made it easy to get work done at the Hotel, such as checking emails. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that there was only a shower and no bathtub.

    Relax in the Heart of the City

    Located in a prime area of Honmachi, about a 5-minute walk from the station. The Hotel had mostly international guests, but the service was reliable, and the free breakfast was delicious. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    New, spotless facilities and wonderful hospitality

    What I liked ・As it hasn’t been many years since opening, the Facility was clean and well maintained. ・All the staff in the Hotel were foreigners, but I was impressed by their very fluent Japanese and polite, heartfelt service. ・There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s within walking distance to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. ・The Room doesn’t have a bathtub, but the functional shower made for a very satisfying stay. What concerned me ・The sound of motorcycles running along the Midosuji Line late at night was loud. ・At 7:30 a.m., the sound of bells from the adjacent temple echoed through. ・The hand soap had a distinctive scent. ・The seating in the breakfast restaurant was tight, and it felt cramped during busy hours.

    The Hotel is not at fault, but

    Perhaps because it is an IHG Hotel, many guests were from Asia, especially China. It felt like Japanese guests made up only about 10% of the Hotel. I knew this might be the case, but with so many, there were unfortunately some guests whose behavior made it difficult for others to feel comfortable, so it was not a very pleasant stay. Looking back now, I realize that if I had thought of it as traveling abroad, I might have enjoyed it more.

    Used for attending a baseball game.

    I stayed here to watch a baseball game at Kyocera Dome. The location was convenient, the bed was comfortable, and the room was new and very clean. One issue was the checkout time. I booked a Plan with a 1:00 PM checkout, and my Reservation details also clearly showed 1:00 PM. However, at check-in I was told checkout was 11:00 AM. I explained this on the spot and showed the booking information from the site, so I thought it had been understood, but after 11:00 AM the next day I received a call from the front desk telling me it was time to check out. It was disappointing that this site’s Plan could not be properly handled by the Hotel.

    Satisfied.

    I really appreciated that breakfast was included.\nThere was a great variety of breads, plus curry, grilled fish, sausages, scrambled eggs, simmered hijiki seaweed, ginger-simmered eggplant and green beans, homemade tofu, natto, yogurt, 4–5 kinds of cereal, several types of milk, and about six kinds of coffee to choose from.\nMost guests were from overseas, so it felt like being on an international trip.\nIt was hard to believe it was free—I was very satisfied.\nAmenities include a toothbrush and hair dryer, as well as coffee and tea.\nI also liked that there is a water dispenser on each floor.\nOne small thing: I forgot my hairbrush and received one at the front desk, but it was a comb—I would have preferred a brush.\nThere is also a humidifier with an air purifier; I recommend it.\nI’d love to stay again.

    It was comfortable.

    I often stay at InterContinental group Hotels, but this was my first time here. I was able to check in early and leave my luggage in the Room before going out, which I really appreciated. Both the Hotel and the Room were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient as well, so I would like to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

    I have stayed at various accommodations in the Honmachi area, but this one had excellent value for money. Definitely a repeat!

    Compared to other Hotels

    I arrived at the Hotel feeling tired, but the front desk staff provided excellent service. On the way to my Room, I was greeted politely by the cleaning staff, and upon entering the Room, it was impeccably clean. I had a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't have a Multiple Night Stay and stayed at another hotel for one more night, but I wished I could have had a Multiple Night Stay here instead.

    It was comfortable.

    The explanation from the front desk was precise, concise, and left a good impression. With three elevators available, there was no inconvenience in waiting even when going to the upper floors. The shower booth without a bathtub featured multifunctional mist and rain showers that were both enjoyable and relaxing. There were two types of pillows, firm and soft, which allowed for a comfortable and restful sleep. Although the breakfast venue was crowded, I enjoyed a delicious meal. The welcome water provided through an environmentally friendly water server system was appreciated. I took advantage of early check-in and late check-out to fully relax during my stay.

    The shower is excellent.

    I was very relaxed. As a Diamond member, I was able to stay longer and stay on a higher floor, which was very relaxing. The breakfast selection was just right, and the bread was very delicious. For those busy with work, paper bags were provided to take it with you, which was convenient. The shower in the room was more comfortable than the bath, and I felt like my pores were cleaned. The location is busy with foot traffic, but it was quiet, and the bed was just the right firmness, allowing for a comfortable rest. Thank you very much.

    It was convenient.

    There were days when I couldn't enter the breakfast venue due to inaccurate information about the crowd. It's disappointing. I was also annoyed by foreign guests lounging around as if it were a lounge. I think this is partly because the lobby lounge on the third floor is not functioning adequately. I didn't feel like using it myself. However, the room was very user-friendly, so I didn't have trouble finding a place to be, and the shower was good. Well, I think the only high point is that it's in a convenient location.
