    I’m satisfied.

    I have stayed at rem twice—previously in Shin-Osaka and this time in Kagoshima—and everyone at the front desk was kind. The Room was clean, and I slept well. The location was also very convenient, as it is in Tenmonkan.

    If you’re just staying overnight

    If you’re checking in late at night and checking out early in the morning, this is a great option. It’s also very convenient for air travel. Access to the Tenmonkan airport limousine bus is very convenient.

    Wonderful hospitality

    Shortly before my trip I was injured and using crutches. A female staff member at reception changed my assigned Room to a more accessible floor and carried my luggage to the Room, which was a great help. At checkout she greeted me with a wonderful smile, and I was able to leave in a cheerful mood. Breakfast was also very delicious, and I enjoyed local specialties from Kagoshima. I will stay here again when I visit Kagoshima. Thank you very much.

    I love Onsen, so the...

    I love Onsen, so there were a few points I rated as 3, but otherwise there were no issues at all. However, it was scary when someone next door seemed to have the wrong Room and rattled my door around 4:30 a.m. Given the convenient location, it’s understandable that there may be some guests who are drunk, but I think having part of the floor as a women-only area would feel more reassuring. Breakfast was great, and the staff who assisted us were wonderful—overall it was a very pleasant stay.

    The breakfast is excellent!

    Breakfast can be chosen from five set-menu options, and you can grill local ingredients at your table on a shichirin charcoal brazier; the main mackerel dish was also delicious. Maximum satisfaction.

    Highly convenient

    Facing Tenmonkan, Kagoshima’s premier downtown district, with many well-known restaurants just steps away. A bus stop with direct services to Kagoshima Airport is also nearby for added convenience.

    Hair Dryer Storage Location

    The towel was hanging on the toilet towel rack but was hidden behind the towel, making it hard to find. It took about 5 minutes to locate. Please place it in a more visible spot.

    The location and comfort are simply outstanding.

    This was my several-time stay. Located in the heart of Tenmonkan, with a bus stop and tram station right in front, plus convenient access to convenience stores and dining options. It's also just a short taxi ride from Kagoshima-Chuo Station on the Shinkansen. The REM bed offers exceptional comfort for a great night's sleep, and the late check-out is a bonus. Elevators arrive quickly, and the front desk staff are courteous. However, there are two issues: 1. It's challenging to find a suitable spot for makeup application. There’s no desk or mirror by the window, so I had to use the bathroom mirror where there’s no shelf for cosmetics—and overhead lighting casts shadows on your face. I hope this can be improved! 2. During this stay, I noticed that luggage left after check-out is stored in the lobby visible from reception; as such, I decided to carry my laptop with me instead of leaving it behind. That said, I'll definitely return again!

    Amazing! A highly sought-after Hotel!

    Futon, pillow, massage chair – all the services we wanted at this price. The location is also excellent. We were interested in the REM series, and it exceeded our expectations. Keep up the great work, Hankyu Hanshin Group!

    Felt safe and comfortable staying alone as a woman.

    The stay was short, literally just for sleeping. Despite being near the bustling Tenmonkan area, the room was not along the main street, so I could sleep soundly at night. I didn’t include breakfast, but with a convenience store nearby, it wasn’t inconvenient. The room was very compact and cute but sufficient for a solo female traveler. The front desk staff were very kind and showed great hospitality. Above all, it was great to stay at such a good value for money!

    A wonderful Hotel.

    I have been staying here every New Year since 2020. The staff always provide excellent service, and I have a comfortable stay every time. I will definitely visit again next year. I loved the view from the 13th floor every morning. I look forward to working hard for another year and welcoming the New Year at remm Kagoshima again next year.

    Cleaning

    It is unfortunate that the shower Room's floor, chair, and glass were dirty. The floor had turned black, there was black mold under the chair, and the glass was covered with many water stains. Other than that, it was a small Room but functional. The shampoo and conditioner were also very good.

    The location was goo...

    The location was good, close to the Tenmonkan Arcade. Although it was small, the bath had a washing area and a chair, and the water pressure was good. The shower's water pressure was good, but it took a long time to fill the bath, which was a drawback. Also, the light for the toilet and the dressing room/washroom was the same, so going to the toilet at night disturbed my sleep with the light. It was good that I couldn't hear noise from other Rooms. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's a very good and reasonably priced Hotel.

    Used during my first visit to Kagoshima.

    I used it for a 4-night Multiple Night Stay. The location is perfect as it is very close to Tenmonkan. Perhaps because the concept is sleep, the room lighting is dim, so it would be better if it were a bit brighter. The cleaning of glasses and the toilet was not thorough. An outlet is needed to charge a smartphone, but the placement is inconvenient. Amenities such as toothbrushes are hung on the upper towel rack, and towels are hung under the washbasin, making them difficult to use. There is no coin laundry, which is inconvenient for a Multiple Night Stay.

    The bathroom is

    Overall, the level was satisfactory, but there were issues with the bathroom. Firstly, the bathtub was large and nice, but it was unpleasant due to soap scum. Additionally, there was mold in the seams of the door and walls. Improvements are needed.

    Very convenient

    I made a reservation without researching the location much, but it's convenient no matter where you go. The express bus stop from the airport is also nearby, which was helpful! The ladies' floor is quiet and secure. They also lent me an aroma humidifier. It's nice to have a Tully's on the first floor. Overall, it was really great.
