    I’d love to stay here again.

    It was a very pleasant Hotel. The Room layout was excellent; although compact, the sliding door allowed the space to be separated from the bedroom, so even when staying with a friend, it was easy and comfortable to change clothes and take a shower. The service was also outstanding, with thoughtful attention and just the right sense of distance. Their sightseeing advice was spot-on, and they also offered Shuttle Service, which was great. There were hardly any shops in front of Tenri Station, so after wandering around we headed there by taxi. If we had come straight to the Hotel without wandering, we would have found more options at the roadside station next door—so next time I’ve decided to go directly to the Hotel as soon as I arrive at the station.

    A Hotel Adjacent to a Roadside Station

    The Hotel is located almost directly along the Yamanobe-no-Michi route. As it sits on slightly higher ground, the views are great. True to the Marriott brand, the rooms feel like a high-end international Hotel. However, there is no restaurant. Nearby, there is a tonkatsu place at the roadside station next door. Otherwise, you will need to drive for dining options. If you choose a plan with breakfast, you are given a kaiseki-style bento. It included kakinoha-zushi and was delicious. It’s not suitable for those who want to enjoy baths/Onsen or meals at the Accommodation. It’s a good choice for those who want to relax in a Western-style Hotel.

    This is my second stay. The Room is just the right size and very clean and well maintained. Coffee and tea are available as complimentary drinks, which is a much appreciated service. The coffee was delicious as well. Since it is located within a roadside station, you can take your time shopping for souvenirs there, and you can also have your meals there, so the value for money is excellent. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

    Ideally Located for Shrine Visits

    This is my fifth stay. A great location for visiting shrines in Nara. I visited many shrines again this time, and the bed has a mattress that suits me perfectly, so I can sleep soundly and recover from the day’s fatigue. Even on a busy shrine-hopping trip, one reason I choose this Hotel is the breakfast box they can arrange if you make a Reservation three days in advance. You can enjoy Nara’s local specialty, kakinoha-zushi. There are still many more shrines I’d like to visit, so I plan to stay here again.

    A Hotel with an Environment Perfect for Focusing on Your Stay

    This was my first time staying here. I stayed for two nights with the purpose of enjoying a hotel stay, and it was the perfect accommodation for my needs. The large windows offered serene views of Nara's peaceful scenery, and the wood-themed, calming guest room was brightly lit, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The warm hospitality of the hotel staff was also very comforting. I made full use of the kitchen space on the first floor and felt as comfortable as if I were at home. The complimentary coffee provided was exceptionally delicious, and I found myself going back for more several times—other guests seemed to feel the same way. There is ample parking space available, so there’s no need to worry about losing your spot even if you take your car out for dinner or other outings. This accommodation feels like a private villa, and I would love to stay here again!

    Multiple Night Stay is not recommended.

    The location was great, and the building was clean and nice. However, there was one concern. This time, I stayed for a 4-night Multiple Night Stay, and at the front desk on the day of check-in, I was informed that only simple cleaning would be provided for multiple night stays. There were no eco discounts or multiple night stay discounts applied, nor any such notice when making the Reservation. I was told that full room cleaning would be done once every three days; however, when I returned to my Room on the fourth day, there had been no cleaning of the toilet, sink area, cups, or floor—it remained in a state similar to simple cleaning. There were hairs and dust on the floor which left me feeling disappointed. For a one-night stay this might not be an issue; however, I do not recommend it for Multiple Night Stays.

    Brand standards and additional features

    Chosen as the third Fairfield by Marriott destination for a relaxing trip to Nara, Tenri offers a comfortable stay. The Hotel's interior, furnishings, and lobby design provide a high level of reassurance. The lobby's atmosphere and the complimentary coffee server, paired with next morning's bread from the roadside station, are particularly enjoyable. The Room features a king-size bed, bench sofa, and spacious layout, ensuring satisfaction. However, the lack of Netflix on the TV was a slight disappointment. For dinner, there's no need to worry as there's a delicious tonkatsu restaurant next door, and the roadside station is also worth exploring.

    It is clean.

    The price is reasonable, but the Room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The staff are friendly, and it's great that you can enjoy coffee freely. Free parking is also a nice bonus. Great value for money!

    I stayed in June during the roadside station campaign. Since it was June, the weather was humid, but the air conditioning in both the check-in lobby and the Room right after check-in was excellent, making my stay very comfortable. The coffee was also delicious; I enjoyed both iced and hot options. For dinner, I dined out in Tenri City, which is conveniently close by car from the Hotel, making it an ideal location for sightseeing. Additionally, with a roadside station attached to the Hotel, you can shop for souvenirs or observe cultural property restoration work—making it a unique place where you can have fun and learn at the same time. In the morning, I had breakfast at a tonkatsu restaurant inside the roadside station that serves Nara specialties—it made for an enjoyable start to my day at this Hotel. The view of Mount Ikoma from my Room was stunning as well. Thank you to all staff members for providing such a wonderful experience! Wishing you all strength during this busy summer season ahead!

    Comfortable stay

    The furniture and decor in the lobby and rooms were very lovely, and the view from the window was beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast since it was a bento box, but it was delicious, visually appealing, and luxurious, which was wonderful. The front desk staff were attentive to various details, making our stay comfortable. The tonkatsu restaurant next door was also very delicious. I wanted to have a beer, but it wasn't on the menu, and I was told, "Since it's a roadside station, we don't serve alcohol," which made sense. Although it's in a somewhat inconvenient location, the scenery is beautiful, and since we came by car, the parking lot was flat and easy to park in. There was also an on-demand shuttle bus from Tenri Station for 300 yen per person. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't use the bathtub, but the shower facilities were good, so I think those without particular preferences wouldn't be dissatisfied. Rather, if not having a bathtub or cooking facilities allows them to allocate resources to facilities and services and offer affordable rates, I think it's reasonable.
